First booking was over two weeks ago- the host decided to cancel my reservation today after it was already "confirmed" and accepted at purchase. I've already coordinated 14 people to have them take this weekend off of work and other family arrangements that was reserved two weeks ago. I tried to contact today with a reason or if I was missing any information they may have needed. Nope. No response. So I booked it again today, and surprise surprise a notification 30 minutes ago that it was cancelled without reason. Tried contacting the "host" Chelsea multiple times. ZERO response. Unreal and beyond unprofessional. Take your money elsewhere. Can't even get a simple response after multiple POLITE attempts. Absolutely disgusted with the lack of care and urgency this "host" or whoever it is has.

The condo is always VERY clean and well equipped with anything you might need kitchen wise (except maybe a wine opener). The view is fantastic and it's relatively quiet in the building (no screaming drunkenness at 3am). It is in the PERFECT spot to walk to anything you might want...the beach is a little over a mile and downtown is a couple blocks away. They charge a premium in the summer time but rightfully so! There are also lots of board games in the cabins themselves. At night every cabin has an outside fire pit perfect for a fire. If your into fishing there are many great rivers and lakes up here with world class fishing. I watched Joe, the proprietor fish as he does apparently every night and it was more worthwhile than the hours of videos on youtube i had watched before on how to do it. I came up here with the men in my family to have a relaxing time and we certainly did. We hope to make this a yearly trip, it was truly that great. Good for couples, groups, families, weddings (their was a wedding here while we were here) and individuals.

First, the location is awesome. Across the street from a Lake Macatawa access (our balcony had a lake view) and down the street from the Holland State Park Lake Michigan Beach (perfect to watch the sun set). We also hiked Mt. Pisgah a couple of days (just down the street too). We stayed in the Newport (sleeps 8, 4 in beds, 4 in sofa beds). We loved the unit from the decor to the multi level layout and fully stocked kitchen. If someone in your party has trouble with stairs I might pick a unit that has an additional first floor kitchen/bar. There is a jet tub in the master bath and a private patio with a grill off the back of the first floor bedroom. There is also an outdoor grill with patio table seating right off the pool deck for entertaining. The salt water pool and hot tub (mostly the hot tub) was my fav, especially after climbing all those stairs at Mt Pisgah. 8 minutes to downtown Holland and 20 minutes to Saugatuck. Just down the street was a kayak and paddle board rental place. Additionally you get privileges at the Macatawa Golf Club which was very nice. It was worth every penny and we hope to go back again!
