13th birthday party @ Paradise skate!! We even got to see the disco ball & Dwight!!! It was epic!! In fact, my daughter's classmate had his birthday party there two months later when he turned 12 and it was even better.... A less stress more fun redo party we could actually enjoy!! Paradise skate went above & beyond to accommodate our special needs population and provided extra support and accommodations without any challenges .... So much easier than it could have been for parents!! Skate walkers are the best inventions! Any child can skate - even if they need support with most other things in life! Go skate , have a date night. Thank you for going above & beyond for both of these special parties. Rollerskating is the best kept secret in family therapy. Connection is protection! Thank you paradise skate!

Everything was on point! Music, food and the vibe was high! Staff friendly. I'd definitely recommend this place for a birthday party or just for fun

This is supposed to be "loaded" nachos with ground beef.... Where's the meat?

$20 per person to skate and was only open on Saturday 3pm-5pm. Smh. A pitcher of soda is $8 Loaded nachos $7 (supposedly comes with ground beef, only saw 2 drops of meat, typical nacho cheese, and 1 pack each of guac, salsa and sour cream) you have to put the condiments on yourself. You do get a free popcorn when you check in on Yelp! Parking is on dirt, unorganized structure. The staff was cool, young adults, nothing but helpful!

Giving this place 4-stars bc the community that comes through this rink + Kim and her son are amazing, but I am DONE supporting this place, unfortunately. Back in January, I was experiencing really bad anxiety and depression due to financial issues. I went there to feel better and spend time with the regulars I've grown to love. However, this older woman, who I had not seen since the first time I went there (not a great first impression either) told me to leave the skate floor bc I didn't have toe stops. This happened within the first hour of being there, after I had paid the $16 entrance fee. She told me buy some from their store or come back with my own. I ended up just leaving because I was so uncomfortable and too broke to buy some. They did not offer me any kind of compensation for kicking me out within an hour of being there, so I didn't come back for MONTHS. Like I said, I was having financial issues and to be frank, I couldn't afford new toe stops and I refuse to skate in their rentals (also and additional $3). I came back in the spring and Kim, I think the owners daughter, gave me 2 free passes as an apology for making me leave without compensation. She is a VERY kind woman, but I'm not sure if I would have received anything had I not told other skaters who frequently attend adult night. Either way, I was so grateful and excited to use it for a time when I'm down bad to on money again. So tonight (I'm literally sitting in their parking lot writing this) I finally was in a position to use the free entrance tickets. I get to the window and the older man (I think he's the owner) just shakes his head and tells me I can't use the tickets at night; only during the date. The ticket does not mention that anywhere (pictured below) & Kim did not mention that either. I'm so disappointed. I gave this location so many chances, I've introduced people to this place, I spent time & money here, even when I only had $20 to my name because of the fantastic people who come through here, especially on Adult Night. I only come on Sundays because the floor is so small and I hate skating around small children (I love kids, but they're kinda reckless on skates), so if I can't use these tickets at the time I choose, I don't see a point in coming back, especially if that's how they're going to treat their regulars. This place is not very busy and there's only a handful of people who are familiar faces here every week, so yeah. I'm sorry to have to share this experience, but I just can't with the owners anymore. It's always something with them. Like I remember I was spoken to over the mic to get off my phone like WHAT??? It's too much. However: Thank you Kim for always being amazing! But I will not be coming back.

    I love the carpet!!!!

Haven't been here since it was Roller Haven. I'm so glad that this place is still open. Me and a group of friends went for adult night on Sunday. It was so much fun and brought back so many memories!! I will definitely go back to skate again. 4 stars only because the DJ was terrible. He never once played anything upbeat or modern. Even after I asked he played 4 doja cat songs and that was it. Also, they didn't turn there lights off or the disco ball on. We asked and were told that they don't do that when there are a lot of people that can't skate. I get it, but there are signs posted everywhere to skate at your own risk. It would have been fantastic to have that disco ball going! There were only about 15 people there and only about 3 of them couldn't skate well.

Great open rink. Music is playing and people are enjoying themselves. Get your groove on and come enjoy the music. Roller skating is so much fun.

    Great hidden gem in Antioch!

Is the skating rink open? I don't have Facebook to see if you're reopened due to the water damage, per your voicemail. Thank you!

Are they open? phone number isn't working either?

    Yes they are open

Do you guys have plans of reopening?

    They are open

    Is this place currently open?

Yes they are open and the are requiring that everyone's wear a mask

Does the Big Kahuna Private Party package have a Private Party room or is area by the snack bar used? Where exactly in the rink are the private parties held? Also, can the tables be moved around to fit decoration scheme?

You get the whole rink to yourself and yes you can move the tables around.

Does this place have a dress code? The golden skate has a very VERY strict dress code and was hoping this place wouldn't have a super strict one either?

From what I can remember I think they do but they're not as strict as the golden skate in San Ramon. So, it just depends on what you're wearing.

There's an outdoor restroom (2) and 2 porto potty as well. They're good for parties. They accommodated my sister in law for her daughter's birthday. There's lots of tables and chairs and benches. We had a big tent all to ourselves because no one else reserved. We had the tent for 2 hours and came 30 minutes to set up. There's lots of people but not crowded at all. You don't have to make reservation and just look for empty benches and set up there too if you'd like. You can bring your own drinks and food. I have patronized other local skating rinks and have never been treated with such disrespect. I took a large group to the rink to in order to support my city and give my group an opportunity to experience an activity that many had never experienced. The overall experience was changed from positive to negative when one of the members in our group was told that she had two different sized skates and they would not return her shoes until she could produce the other set of mismatched skates. This person is very shy and unable to advocate for herself so I intervened. The manager and employee insisted that we must have the other pair of mismatched skates even after we checked and told them everyone else in our group had returned their skates. Then suggested this person sat by someone and they had put on the wrong size skate even though the person seated next to them was someone in our group. The manager and employee were unwilling to budge and demanded we pay for a new pair of skates ($125) if we could not produce the other mismatched skates. They were very rigid and unwilling to consider that they may have made a mistake when they gave out the skates. After about 30 minutes, I was finally able to locate another patron (they cleared the ice and asked people to approach counter if they wore that size shoe but I had to go around and ask total strangers) who also was mystified by the mix up. They never appologized or acknowledged the error. Because of this mix up we were late getting everyone to the next location where parents were waiting for their kids. My advice to you check the bottom of the skates before skating or risk paying for a new pair of skates. Tip for this owner don't always assume someone is trying to cheat you. Back in the day the customer was always right or at least given the benefit of the doubt.

There was no charge to skate, though the skating pass price of $12 posted online is not bad, especially without the $3 skate rental cost (since I have my own rollerblades). This place is quite simple. A small shoe cubbies storage unit against the wall, a few seats and tables outside the rink, a restroom in the back, socks and snacks (water, chips, gatorade) sold behind the counter, and friendly staff making everyone feel welcome. The rink had a smooth and sturdy surface, creating an ideal skating experience. It was surrounded by plexiglass, able to withstand the barrage of kids crashing into the walls. Tiny disco balls hung from the ceiling, along with colorful decorative string lights. Mainly hip hop and rnb music played through the speakers, a song list including Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder, I Want To Be Your Man by Zapp, and Don't Stop Til You Get Enough by the king of pop. The skating rink was small but never felt crowded. There was plenty of space to glide freely, and it was easy to dodge the kids. Even the skate aids didn't take up a lot of space or get in the way. The ice slide also looked like a fun added bonus. Purchased tickets ahead of time and they made it easy to add to apple wallet, and also texted and emailed a copy of the tickets/QR code which was great for me, but might be difficult to access for anyone not smartphone savvy or access. Check in and getting our skates was easy enough, although I had to go back a second time because the young man gave me the men's size instead of the ladies, so I went to the young gal the 2nd time to the skate window and she remedied that for me. We had the combo ticket but decided to skate first as they don't guarantee skate sizes or walkers and I was able to get a walker for an added rental fee of $15 which I didn't mind but would have preferred if we could add this to our reservation because we really could not have skated without it. They have lockers for your belongings if needed, we just left our shoes under a bench and it was fine. We put our skates on and immediately they were very uncomfortable, they tighten down with three plastic belt paths (think roller blades) and on their website it specifically advised to wear tall socks but not thick socks, so that is what we did. The skates were immediately digging in hard on both mine and my friends inner ankle bone. So much so that after 10 minutes we were in agony and decided to take a break and try the ice slide with our littles. The ice slide was fun, they had 2 of the 3 lanes open and someone at the top monitoring each lane. The tubes were in at least 3 different sizes which was great but we did need to wait a bit to use a red tube which were the smallest size for the 4 year olds. In the meantime we used a larger tube and they let us tube with them (we also had a combo ticket) and the littles on our laps. My child was scared of the slide so only went a handful of times but there is a snack shack and tables adjacent so we got some hot cocoa and watched her friend. All in all this was a cute spot and we had fun, the rink is small but wasn't too crowded on a January Saturday, the layout, decor and staff were all great, but I will try somewhere else next time since the main goal was ice skating and the skates were just way too uncomfortable.

Being that this spot was outdoors and holiday themed, it was crowded with lots of families and little ones. I usually go to Dublin Iceland for normal outings, so this was a nice holiday change. I don't like the skates as much though for that reason, I highly recommend still getting your own skates if you're a skater or would like to learn because it will be easier in my opinion to get a boot that fits you well and that laces up. That's my only grip, lol.
