I will say it is the ONLY place in all of the island where you will get drunk. These people KNOW how to party and their drinks are incredible!!! Not only are they yummy but they really do get the vibes going FAST! We started with a bottle of rose, servers greeted us immediately after we were sat down (even though we had a wait of like 20 minutes EVEN WITH A RESERVATION MADE AND CONFIRMED) and then by recommendation of our server we tried their RBC Tequila and omg hahahaha just one of those will have you dancing on their tables (literally, whatever they are doing please keep doing it, so worth it). We do feel like the prices are extremely jerked food and drink wise even with the reservation you must spend a minimum of $300. The water is so amazing, no coral, no trash, super clean and honestly after spending two weeks out here on a mission to find the best places I can honestly say out of all the beach clubs in the island rainbow cafe is #1 on almost everything but the price. Towels are complimentary gifts you get to take home which was a nice memory. We had their fruit platter which was AWESOME and delish fruit perfect for a drinking day at the beach and still being healthy and help your body stay hydrated. We also ordered their truffle pizzetta and as a truffle girlie I was in heaven, the smell, the flavor but above all the amount of truffle on that pizza? They really gave us a bagatelle like experience out in Saint Marteen and even though we felt jerked we still left happy? Would we visit rainbow cafe again? I asked the chef owner for water and he said the server would get it, which was his wife but they were both too busy sitting at other people's table and chatting it up while I'm over her parched for water for 15 minutes! WTF! I can't even get some water in this hot muggy crappy place? I ordered a pie because I was starving bc I guess this Italian place doesn't give bread. I had to get up and order it and my water with the other chef that was standing around bc no one was helping me get anything. Ordered the most horrendous clam pasta I have ever had with extra bitter and old arugula on top. Nothing about this place was palatable. The service sucked. The spot is very cozy and has so many beautiful memories plastered onto their walls which is a beautiful way to keep memorandums of the people who visit. It is always packed and they seem to have karaoke? The breeze from the beach feels so good if you sit close to the areas that are exposed which kind of made it easy for us to wait so long for the food. My fiancee ordered the beef brisket sandwich he gives it a 6/10 because it was missing a bit of more seasoning, sweet potato fries were awesome and he still ended up eating the whole thing. I had the chance to bite into it and that one bite was enough for me to give it a solid 7/10 it can definitely be improved flavor wise but compared to most places on this island I will say they have the seasoning part of food down way more than the average place. For me, I had the baked ziti with chicken and while the pasta was (dry?) the cheese kind of made up for it? The plate was HUGE so I obviously was unable to finish it all in one sitting and it served as lunch today and I am not unhappy honestly. I feel like it taste it better because the raggu was able to sit overnight which ultimately added for that extra flavor to kick in all the way. We are not huge BBQ or greasy foods eaters but I would definitely come back to this place for some good local seasoning comfort food, we had a wait time of almost an hour which was not to our liking and we now know that if you are ordering take out you are probably better off calling ahead, ordering and just showing up after the food is ready. You cannot come to St. Martin and not visit Fat Tony's it is a staple and we can definitely see why. They are a full blown tourist trap now with souvenirs, a pool, and multiple bars. The food menu is basically glorified bar food and the drinks are overpriced beach cocktails and beer. You're better off just hanging on the beach and waiting to eat until you find something else.

This is basically just something to get by until the good stuff later. I'm assuming others do the same rather than spend $80-$100 on breakfast every morning. Have a good breakfast once in awhile, and then you eat at McDonalds so you appreciate those better meals.
