Obviously we got their orgasmic ribs but there wasn't anything orgasmic about them. It seems very common like in all places we have visited on the island that flavor is not the focus at all for the food. There is never any salt or pepper on the food or really any particular flavor to it which was, unfortunately, the same for the ribs which we were looking forward to after all the hype. If there is a better time when they usually taste better that would be something worth mentioning for a future review. We also ordered their rice and peas, Mac & cheese and their Accra (6) with a sweet and sour sauce, the jerk chicken wings and their coleslaw. The Accra was sooo yummy I couldn't get enough. One thing worth mentioning they brought out the jerk chicken wings and the ribs out first no plates, no cutlery, no napkins, no rice, no sides or even drinks. So we waited for as long as we could for the items to arrived but they never did so we decided to start eating until I was able to catch the attention of one of the servers who immediately took care of making sure all other missing items were brought to our table so keep in mind that the place is VERY busy and you might just have to follow up a little bit on the food. The Mac & cheese was not special. It had no particular flavor and it was not cheesy or maccy at all as it was reheated in the microwave along with the rice and peas; that was disappointing because the rice and peas was actually pretty decent and the aroma was definitely there. The coleslaw was also just good nothing too striking for us to want to revisit again but big enough that we had the rest to go and at home after adding a bit of S&P with a special mix of my seasoning it was much more elevated and got that Caribbean taste along with the rest of the ribs and the chicken wings with rice and peas. The wings were VERY yummy and good on their own, no sauce necessary at all, you will make sure to leave those bones clean and it will get messy but that's ok. Just make sure to bring some sort of wet wipes, hand sanitizer or ask for lemon/lime and use the juice to clean off and disinfect your hands before and after the meal. We did not try any of their drinks as we have been on the island for two weeks and our system cannot continue with that kind of cycle. Overall I give them a pretty solid 8.5/10) rating because they have an extensive menu but honestly believe that the ribs CAN be a hit or miss kind of meal. They have many other INCREDIBLE meals in the menu and we are definitely revising to try their oxtails before we head back home. Their pizzas and tacos are very highly spoken of and have been recommended by many locals on both French and Dutch side due to the tasty flavor so we cannot wait to try it. It is a lovely, lively and best choice for food after the beach, the music, the breeze of the ocean and the smell of BBQ is soooooo good and you are hungry from the moment you arrive as it is surrounded by many other spots that are also, by the smell of it, cooking up something delicious.
