This is our vacation spot since 2010. Being a Phoenician and loving the culture of Mexico I just can't stay away from coming to visit and spend family time with the kiddos. The units are private and clean and the beach is absolutely beautiful! Except this last trip. I spent one morning picking up cigarette butts, plastic bags, broken bottles and washed up plastic from the ocean tide. Sucks to see the disrespect and ungrateful attitudes that goes into our seas.. I was just disappointed to see the litter increased. If you come please bring paper bio products and not Solo cups and plastic.. read more

Stayed three nights on presidents weekend 2018. Our Villa was number 19. Very nice unit. Two stories, two bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms. The kitchen is spacious and accommodating for our family. The two balcony's provided us extra space and views of the Sea of Cortez. The beach is steps away from unit 19 and one of the best beaches in Peñasco. There is a few mile drive on a dirt road from the highway. It's actually well maintained. Any vehicle can make it to the villas. I recommend and will return soon. We've been coming to Playa Encanto for years. We always stay at Paradise Villas. 24 hour maned security, security cameras, limited vending, clean beach and super nice people always stay here. There are NO ATV's allowed in this beach or fireworks. Owners bring their dogs and the pool is always clean. This year we rented Villa 10 and I have a love hate relationship with this unit. Love the fact that there is a single bedroom on main floor. Hate that there is no hand rail going up tiled stairs. The stairs are not safe for children or the elderly. The beds are full sized and the floor is the original Mexican tile. This unit has not been kept up as well as the other units. Our usual rental is 9. It's spacious, decorated with a lot of Frita Kahlo pictures. In unit 9 the beds are one king and two queens and much cleaner. In unit 9 they removed the built in entertainment unit and got a nice table to eat at. The give you extra garbage bags and dishwasher tablets. Unit 10, nothing. Oceana Rentals will rent unit 10 but you have to know someone or find on obscure websites to find other units. I'm grateful for the difficulty in finding this place, it keeps out the college kids and heavy partiers. It's also not an easy find off of Freemont. Do not try to find this place for your first time in the dark! It is not on the resort side which makes for a much quieter vacation. There are owners that live here year round so if you plan on making a ruckus, DONT RENT HERE. read more
