However we were woken very early at 06.15 with deliveries/staff arrivals occurring beneath our room (204) which was an issue. However when we requested a room move the staff could not have been more efficient and obliging and the following night we slept until 09.30! The whole hotel is spotlessly clean. I ate in the bar one evening (interesting and tasty non typical bar food - very positive comment!) and my server was a lovely bubbly and chatty lady who took an interest in my conversation. If only she had not been at work I would have loved to keep chatting with her for hours......

My son and his fiance' recently purchased a home listed by Christina Brunson,and as they are first time buyers, we helped with the transaction. Christina's communication was absolutely horrible. She was extremely slow to respond to anything. Christina knew when the appraisal was scheduled, and the water was left turned off to the home. The appraiser charged $200 for a return trip to verify everything worked after it was turned on. Christina refused to pay for it, even though it was clearly her fault, and certainly not the fault of the buyers. Thankfully our great buyers agent paid it as she said it was in no way the buyers responsibility. All week our agent let Christina know she intended to give the buyers the keys after the transaction recorded today, which is standard in our area. Our son is a police officer currently on night shift, and his fiance' is an ER nurse. Our agent never heard from Christina until the last minute and she said that she had cleaning supplies in the house and she couldn't release the keys until 9pm! Talk about taking the wind out of the sails of excited first time buyers! Our agent went to the home and there was litterally a few things that could be carried out easily at one time and would fit int he trunk of a subcompact car. Christina is horrible to be in a transacdtion with. Her responsiveness and communication in general is horrible. It's our understanding that she is currently under investigation by the real estate board, and it is our intention to file a formal complaint. Stay away from doing business with this agent. There are a lot of very good agents in our area, including in the same office as Christina.

This place has been around for years and I am old enough to remember when it was THE spot. The pros: great location to the mall and other shopping. Awesome, friendly staff. The pool is perfect template. Room was clean. The chicken wings were great. The cons: the bar looks nice and so does the restaurant. The breakfast is a step below Holiday Inn Express. And cost $7. One big con: The AC in the lobby, bar, and restaurant is broke. "Will be fixed in the fall". The fall? I know tri cities has HVAC repair. Heck, I have some cool tools. Let me climb up there.
