I've been meaning to write this review for a few months now, but today is the best day to write it…read more Because after two months, I used the substance I was addicted to. I feel hungover and really paying the price. I feel scattered, nervous and weak. I have no desire to go back to that common feeling. Today was a strong reminder for me how life used to be. I don't want any part of it. Today was how I used to feel at least once, usually twice a week. It doesn't matter what you are addicted to, be it heavy drugs like herion, crack, or meth. It could be cigarettes, sex, alcohol, the internet, or gambling. The feeling is always the same the next day (or a few days). I know you know what I mean. I don't feel like myself, I'm not clearheaded. I feel like shit. In many ways it's a wasted day, a day I need to recover. For me it was caffeine addiction. The pain and discomfort is the same no matter what it is. The struggle is the same for everyone. I was sensitive and just as hooked to caffeine and chocolate as any heroin addict. Gary's neurofeedback is the only thing that helped me successfully have the willpower to stop using long enough for the cravings to die off, as I like to put it. It takes more than 30 days of abstinence. It took me about 45 days for the last headaches to disappear and the receptors on the cells that were used to getting their caffeine fix to give up, shrivel and leave me alone. Without sounding like an info commercial, I have my life back, I guess one could say for the first time in 30 years. I have no idea how the neurofeedback works. Gary answers my questions, but I still don't understand it. Brainwave sensors are placed on the head and then you watch this computer screen make interesting patterns with weird sounds. It's painless and very relaxing. It has something to do with the brain teaching itself to function optimally again, not stuck in patterns of addiction and obsession. It takes time. I saw Gary twice a week for 4 months before the addiction was gone. At first I could only go 4 days without using; then 7, then 10 days, then two weeks. I made it to a month and beyond. For the first 6- 8 weeks I thought this isn't working; but be patient, it does work. It is the only thing that worked for me. I have tried everything else in existence. I believe in neurofeedback so much I want to learn how to do it and start offering it to others. There is so much addiction in our society that cripples so many amazing talented creative people. But they never get to offer their gifts to society, to their families, to their own selves because of the dysfunction. I am forever grateful to Gary for helping me. Scott O'Brien, Germantown, PA

At first skeptical, I soon realized that changes were occurring in how I handled myself in stressful situations . My over all approach to life, is so much calmer. A weekly session soon helped with my anxiety level when dealing with life changing occurrences that effected my health as well as my employment. His professional manner , as well as his friendly, caring, attitude, bring a calm to each session, afterwards I leave feeling at peace with what ever was troubling me. In and out of all kinds of therapy for many years has never effected me as much as these life changing sessions with this wonderful man.

We took shifts holding both babies, every single night. Our twins are now sleeping 11+ hours at night and sleep for two, long, uninterrupted naps during the day. Ria is extremely professional and was responsive to all of our questions. She has checked back in to see how our twins are doing multiple times. My only regret is waiting so long to contact her. I've already recommended Ria to several new-parent friends. If you're a sleep deprived parent, I highly recommend her to you, too!

I have noting but positive remarks on both my office experience and AH remote staff. I found the MM site staff to be professional and extremely helpful in training me on CPAP (Kevin I think was the name of my advisor - a tall AA dude) and the phone staff at AH have also been remarkably accommodating, so far (except for one isolated guy that seemed hung over, so I just hung up and got someone else who was excellent, as all others have been). I'm about to ask for a return of one mask did not not suit me, so will see how that goes soon - but all in all, I give this outfit my highest endorsement. Except---mayybee--for cryptic billing invoices; this is not a negative per se, it just seems to me as an obtuse billing Insurance thang, rather than intended to deceive and certainly not to overbill. I very rarely write reviews (mea culpa), but in light of the extremely poor overall reviews I see for Adept Health, I've been pleasantly surprised. I have no relationship with them other than as a CPAP patient for almost 3 months and just passed Insurance compliance.

With her guidance, our daughter was sleeping independently in her crib from 7pm until 4 or 5am about 4-6 weeks after birth and from 7am-7pm by 12 weeks. We accomplished this without any sleep training with Lee's help. The best part about Lee is that she adapts her guidance to the needs of each family and doesn't have a one size fits all approach. She was easily accessible for any follow up questions and is amazing with babies! Lee was a phenomenal resource for our family during our transition into parenthood. I can't recommend her enough. The money spent hiring her was far more valuable than anything else we purchased for our daughter!

We worked with Doulas of Philadelphia for both post-partum and sleep training. Lee and everyone we…read moreinteracted with were amazing and we would highly recommend them for both. A few details: Post-partum: We worked with Lee to craft a personalized post-partum support schedule that helped us transition to being new parents. Our primary doulas were Kate and Beth, both of whom were amazing. They were generally with us 4 nights per week from 9pm-7am. In addition to caring for our baby overnight so we could get some much needed rest, they were a source of knowledge and comfort. We felt our baby was very safe and secure with them and trusted them 100%. We also had a few day time visit where we could ask questions, try out new things like baby wearing, and get out of the house. Sleep training: We decided to sleep train our baby at about 4.5 months. Lee came to our house and stayed for 3 days straight. During that time she coached us (most important part of sleep training is training the parents that everything will be OK!), monitored the baby at night so we could rest, took extensive notes, and left us with a detailed plan of action. We were amazed at house much progress our baby made in those 3 days. He was literally sleeping through the night and falling asleep/putting himself back to sleep with minimal crying. Lee provided a month of ongoing phone, email and text support, where we could ask questions and plan for things like sleeping elsewhere, car rides, disruptions to our schedule, etc. We give Doulas of Philadelphia our strongest endorsement. If you are looking for highly experienced, professional, loving, and kind people to help you transition into parenthood or when you are expanding your family, definitely consider their services.
