(Well that's how I how i had to sell it to my Mom anyways) It had great corn flavor and was fried nice and crispy on the outside and served piping hot. The order came with a side of Salvadoran-style pickled slaw made from cabbage and carrots. It was fairly spicy and still had good crunch. It goes really well with the sweetness of the corn. These make a nice little snack to munch on while out running errands and are much lighter and healthier than grabbing a burger and fries.

Eventually, I went to the register and told the waitress that it was our first time there and asked if we could sit anywhere or if there was a specific process we needed to follow. She acted as though she did not speak English, which made the interaction uncomfortable. However, when I went to pay our bill later, she spoke English very clearly. Throughout our entire visit, she never introduced herself, checked on us, or offered us drink refills. What was especially disappointing was feeling as though we were being treated differently because of our appearance. I am from Brazil, and I know that if someone visits a Brazilian restaurant or business, we would make an effort to welcome and assist them regardless of their background or the language they speak. I can speak some Spanish and understand it when spoken, but I should not be expected to speak Spanish simply because I may look Hispanic. The one positive interaction we had was with the gentleman who brought our food. He was very kind, friendly, and welcoming. Overall, we felt invisible for most of our visit. The food was excellent, and we would recommend it based on the food alone, but the customer service definitely needs to be addressed.
