Stopped in for a late dinner one evening for takeout and was greeted by a young lady behind the…read morecounter who was very helpful in answering any questions I had and after ordering continued with a conversation about how they started as a food truck and was able to open up their store etc. I ordered the Butter Chicken with Basmati Rice and Naan with an appetizer order of stuffed grape leaves. The place is small and decorated in a traditional style. It's clean and the smell of the food cooking was PHENOMENAL! Finally a place with some spice in Asheboro. The butter chicken was absolutely delicious! The meat was tender and juicy and the sauce was amazing. The rice was flavored with turmeric and some other spices (biryani spice?) and it complements the butter sauce so nicely. The naan came with 2 pieces and it was light and fluffy perfect for dipping into the sauce. The only thing I would change on my next order would be to get a side portion of plain Greek yogurt to also eat with it because that is what I like but that's just me. The stuffed grape leaves were delicious as well. I forgot to take pictures. The portions are generous and the food came out fresh and hot. I highly recommend if you want something with some flavor. Can't wait to go back and try more items from their menu. It's not just Greek /Mediterranean food. The dish I had is Indian.

Everything was great. In fact, it was the best gyro meat I have had inside the USA. Looking forward to trying some other menu items in the future. Thanks for the great food.

I'm updating my review based on one of their featured specials I tried out this weekend, the…read morechorizo queso burger. That thing was delicious. I am a big fan of chorizo and well I am also a big fan of queso, but had never had them together. It had a little bit of a kick to it but, nothing too crazy; it really complimented the juicy burger well. The other burger on the menu that caught my eye is the breakfast burger. I will have to be sure to try that in the near future. As always they provided service with a smile!

Camel City Grill, in my opinion is the best food truck in the triad. I've tracked down this gem on…read morewheels on multiple occasions now and have never been disappointed. Their burgers are incredible and the service is fantastic. My favorite burger that I've had from Camel City is a take on Ben's Pimento Burger. You simply go up and say "I'd like the Ben's Pimento Burger 'Ben's Way'." Chances are you will be speaking to Ben himself, so there won't be any issues on him understanding you. Ben's way is the normal Ben's Pimento Burger, but instead of using the regular brioche bun they use a grilled pimento cheese sandwich as the top bun and a grilled pimento cheese sandwich as the bottom bun. Ben's way isn't for those who have heart problems or even who are worried about heart problems, but for the rest of you it is delicious! The pimento cheese is incredible here. It is chipotle pimento and is a great amount of spice. After eating this burger Ben's way, I immediately crashed and took a 3 hour nap. Clear your schedules people. It is totally worth it though. For a day when you can't take a 3 hour nap, their other burgers are delicious as well. The second best option, in my opinion, is the PBB&J Burger. This is a burger with homemade peanut butter, red pepper jelly, and bacon. This may seem like an odd combo of ingredients, but they seriously come together perfectly. I think that I could just sit around all day dipping that bacon in the pepper jelly. I haven't tried many of their sides, but I would recommend the Southern Style Potato Salad. The food here is creative, inspired, and delicious. The service is seriously some of the best that I've experienced from a food truck. They seem to have a system down. I've seen them serve dozens of hungry patrons quickly and with a smile. The owner of the truck, Ben, seems like a genuine guy and seems to sincerely enjoy what he does. Plus, he's a Tar Heel which is reason enough to support him. Do yourself a favor and figure out where Camel City Grill is going to roll up to next and make sure you are there.

I've been here before and picked up a pizza and remember it being pretty good and have been wanting…read moreto try their subs because as I waited on the pizza, everyone that came in was picking up and ordering subs. So, I got the small Meatball sub with extra cheese and a small Italian Cold Cut sub. The Italian Cold Cut sub met my expectation of an all around good Italian sub. The bread was fresh and had a nice chew to it and it was filled decently with meat, cheese and salad. The Meatball sub was a bit disappointing. First-the meatballs are not homemade. The sub was prepared by taking the same sub bread, laying cheese down, and then placing 4 meatballs down that are either sitting in a pan with sauce or are heated in a microwave with sauce, but those are definitely frozen meatballs. They then wrap it up and that's it. The bread is served cold and the cheese isn't melted in some places. Its not what I would consider a hot sub. I really had high hopes of having crunchy hot bread, with some melted cheese pull when I bite into it. I also didn't care for the sauce. It has too much Italian seasoning in it, taking away from the marinara and overall taste. The place is a small take out only establishment that is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. I will definitely return for cold cut subs and pizza. For the price, it's a great value.
