I know how HVAC system's are installed and after seeing the install job by Modern Aire I would be weary. I had to reseal all the connections on the duct and plenum that attached to the furnace. With the furnace being an 80% proficiency furnace and the intake and exhaust pipes penetrate through the side wall of the house they never sealed around the intake and exhaust pipes that penetrated through my house to the outside I myself had to end up going and Sealing the pipes from the inside of my crawl space basement and on the outside of my house where it penetrated through my siding also they did not put screens/covers over the intake and exhaust pipes to prevent birds and or any type of insect going inside those pipes and into your furnace and then into your house. I myself had to seal around those intake and exhaust pipes. They installed this furnace in February of 2023 it is now may of 2024 and the bearing is going out of the blower motor inside the furnace that I had installed in February of 2023. My whole house is shaking due to the bearing and or blower wheel being out of balance.

He said I needed a part replaced and it would take an hour, but it will probably be expensive and that they would send a quote. CONS: Quote came in at a thousand bucks. Wow. I looked up the part which was around $180, meaning they were charging $800 an hour. I looked on the manufacturer's web site and saw the instruction video on replacing the part and it was an unbelievably easy install. Three stars for their cordiality and quick response.

The big name company with fancy commercials on TV And took monthly service amounts to "make it easier" for me. 2 years ago they said that I needed to replace my ENTIRE air conditioning unit that they had been servicing for almost 10 years. The unit was only 11 years old at that point. They tried to sell me a new one for $9k !!!! I decided to get a second opinion and had 3 different companies come to check the unit. THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG. They said someone had loosen up a valve and all the antifreeze was gone. Needless to say I was almost the victim of fraudulent business practices. I wanted a Mitsubishi system--and what do you know, he revealed to me that my other Mitsubishi quote from another dealer was full of bunk. Go figure. So, I took him up on his offer. I asked for quotes on both the low and high end system; I chose the low end system. Here's where it gets interesting: they brought the high end system instead, due to some paperwork mixup. They spent about an hour figuring things out for themselves, and in the end came to me with the offer: "we'll just let you keep this and get it installed today for the low end system price, it's just easier". I took them up on it. The installers were great, thorough, and efficient. Here it is 5 months later and 22 degrees outside, and all is well. Thanks for reaching out, Mackenzie. It worked out well.
