*BEWARE* AC went out in my 83 year old Mothers home. We purchased a completely new Trane AC and Furnace (PRICEY) from Logan Services 5 years ago. I called to have someone come out and explained my situation and told them that it was 98 degrees out and my Mother was 83. They said it would take a week to get to, so I went and purchased a portable AC unit to get by until they arrived the following week. When the 2 guys showed up I told them I believe it was a capacitor issue, Sure enough it was a bad capacitor. They went and got one from their truck and promptly installed it (maybe 15 minutes). Said it was under warranty and there was no cost for the capacitor. THIS IS WHERE THEY CHARGED ME $421 DOLLARS! They said this was their standard service call. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE LOGAN SERVICES! On a side note, they said they can clean my coils for $350. What a JOKE! read more

** WARNING** We had an air conditioner/furnace installed 7 months ago. Primarily to replace our very old unit with a new one. We chose the spring to do this so we would be ready for summer. We went with Logan because we heard they were a good reputable company. Well, our experience has not been good. Our AC went out on 7/13/26. We had used it for about a month at this point. A technician came out that day and told us the sensor and motherboard needed to be replaced. I called the next day to schedule an appt. And I realize it's summer so they're busy. We can't get anyone to come out until 7/17/26. Not happy about that of course, but they have to wait until a part comes in. ( I don't understand why they wouldn't have these parts on hand). At the time I thought that was bad, but....I receive a call this morning, that now the part isn't coming until 7/20/26. So we're having to go a whole week without AC and we have a brand new $16000 unit sitting out back not working. And of course, this is one of the hottest weeks we've had. I purchased a windowless AC to help keep us cool. Cost me $280. In my opinion Logan should reimburse us for that since it's their brand new AC on the fritz. As it stands right now, I regret going with Logan, and I will never refer them to somebody. We paid cash for the highest level Trane system three years ago, sales guy was great, installers were great. And since we purchased the top of the line system we also paid for a service contract. That is where everything went to hell in a hand basket fast. Every preventative maintenance appointment get delayed and delayed by weeks. We now have to deal with their AI BOT every time we call. Under maintenance contract we are are supposed to get priority service calls. So after a month and a half delay for the spring maintenance which finally occurred two weeks ago (month and a half after their original commitment) our system threw a major error and shut dow at 4:30. Called got past their AI bot talked to a human committed to having a tech here tonight between 5p and 10p. Got one text from them within 10 minutes we have your service ticket but running behind. Almost 10p call, get past their ai bot only to talk to an answering service. Once you buy a system from Logan services you will feel like you bought a really nice car from a shady used car salesman. I don't know who the MBA family member is that is running the show there but they seem quite intent in fleecing their customers with No remorse. I will be calling Trane directly tomorrow about this. We have 3 small houses we rent out and the furnace went out for one of them and we needed service. The houses are managed through a trust for tax purposes. The owner's wife apparently has zero clue and in my opinion, she is dumber than a box of rocks because she kept saying she can't service commercial property. We explained this is a small house and the trust is for tax purposes and all we need the trust name put on the invoice but they are in a trust owned by my dad. I see Logan A/C promoting their "FREE FURNACE SCAM". Do not fall for this. They quoted me a system in December 2025 that included this offer and the total cost was $15,820!!! The only explanation of the cost was a one line quote with just the total cost. I asked them to provide me a line by line quote including each component pricing. THEY SAID THEY DIDN'T HAVE AN ITEMIZED QUOTE AND THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO KNEW THIS WAS THE OWNERS?? Hard to believe the sales person went to his truck for about 15 minutes to add up the cost for a one line quote. I called and ran into a brick wall, no response. Finally got the Vice President in Dayton, OH. I finally got the breakdown. Guess what, they ungraded me to a more expensive furnace that cost $6800, so my "FREE FURNACE" cost $3800!!! After many emails and phone calls they rebated me $1500, still not a FREE FURNACE. They are not good returning phone calls or answering emails. Don't fall for the hype. I will NEVER buy from Logan again. Amanda, did you even read my review? Logan is the opposite. Transparent, if you are transparent, you would have told me the furnace cost was $6800, but you didn't. You did everything to hide the pricing, to hurry up and close the deal. You did not provide any resolution. The only resolution is a check for $1300. Do not use this company.I've had nothing but problems with the air conditioner and furnace.They installed , it's the top of the line trane Furnace and air conditioner and the air conditioner is going out 3 times they came and fixed it once because they did not put the piping correctly, they have the drain pipe going to a low point. So all the sediment sits in that low point and doesn't get to the drain. So I constantly have to clean out The air conditioner drained hose from the PAN and then the heater went out last year and they wanna charge you a $109 just to look at the unit so I looked it up and I had to replace the flame sensor and the heat sensor because it was not sensing the heat so I called them and told them, I'm not paying another service call fee because it's number one installed incorrectly and number 2. I've never had a problem like this. With my original furnace and heater that came with the house. That was over 20 years old and so I put in a service call and the guy said. Well, if something's installed wrong, you know, we'll come out and fix it. I said so you're not gonna charge me to go look at it right well. Yeah, I gotta go and charge you a $109 just to look at it to tell you if we installed it wrong. Do not use this company. They do not stand behind their product. Several times I scheduled service calls months in advance (pre paid annual service plan) and received a "we're sorry" phone call the day of the appointment informing me that a technician was not available and they would need to reschedule my service call. Only after telling the company this was an unacceptable and inappropriate business practice was a technician assigned to cover the existing appointment. From a customer's perspective, it's aggravating to say the least when you've scheduled your business day around being available for an appointment set months earlier, and generally very poor customer service for a company apparently not even thinking twice about failing to honor a service call commitment made months in advance. read more

Logan has recently added plumbing to its services and offered me a free whole-house plumbing inspection. Since my HVAC was already from Logan (and I've been very happy with them), I accepted. The inspection was very thorough and detailed. Devin inspected my biggest worry first - the water heater - and was very thorough about looking at every water and gas connection. He checked water pressure and hardness as well. The inspection offer was clearly meant to generate business, but Devin was very straightforward about what was necessary and what I should be watching out for over time. I'll be getting additional estimates for the work in question, but the prices quoted were well in line with the estimate I've already received. I'd be very comfortable to have them do the work. read more

I have a 7 year old high efficiency Carrier furnace that Logan determined had a fouled heat exchanger, which was correct. Rather than directly giving me a quote to repair it, their tech came across as pushing me to buy a new system. I had to find out on my own that it was still under Carrier warranty for the parts. I finally got a quote from them but it was for two guys for all day for approx. $2400. I got two other quotes from other local companies and they both came in at LESS than half. I had the one that is near me in Grove City do it and the one young man took right at 3 hours to do it himself (he had stated experience doing this even with the same model furnace). Everything is working great with virtually zero CO coming out the exhaust. Maybe Logan excels at installing new systems with their deals, but I'd think twice about using them for repairs. read more

My water softener was not working properly so I called for a diagnose. For $79, all I got was a quote of replacing with a new water softener. I tried to ask the guy for any clue as to why the water softener was not functioning, and he simply said it was too old. I had good experience with Logan service before and that's why I contacted them about my water softener. Very disappointed. First time using Logan for plumbing. We have used them for HVAC for 12 years. I won't use them for plumbing again. At first I left them a five star rating. They installed a water tank last week and did some miscellaneous pipe work. Great. Today I failed the City of Columbus inspection for two reasons: 1. They added a pan under the water tank. The Logan plumber led me to believe that was part of code. The city inspector said it isn't, however, if you add a drain pan, it needs added piping to route any water collected to the floor drain. The Logan plumber capped the drain pan. FAIL. 2. I was surprised that Logan added a support expansion tank to the top of the new hot water heater. I never had one before. Again, the city inspector said we don't really need it. We don't have a closed system, where there is a backflow preventer, so the thermal expansion tank was unnecessary. However, where we failed inspection was in the installation of this tank, which is supposed to attach to the wall. Instead, the Logan plumber sat the tank directly on the piping. FAIL. I AM SO MAD. I took off work ($ lost) to have the plumber here, and took off work for the inspection. Now I have to go through all this again not to mention that I paid for equipment that I didn't even need. EPIC FAIL ON PLUMBING. Hey, Logan, can I bill YOU for the time I take off work to go through this process a second time? read more

We bought an old home with a lot of character a couple of years ago. We made the purchase knowing that it did not have central air and that we would have to be investing in a unit sometime down the line. While watching TV I saw a Logan AC commercial that talked about a January sale stating if you purchase an air conditioning unit in January the furnace is free. Now mind you I was not in the market for a new furnace but the commercial also mentioned free estimates. In my head I thought I should at least get an estimate. We were no where near ready to make a purchase, but more information is never bad. I signed up online for an appointment for the AC estimate. I believe it was scheduled for 4 days later. Day of Logan texts me an estimated time of arrival along with a full photo of the employee to arrive at my house. His name was Jeff and he was right on time. He went through our house, discussed our needs with us, and explained some options. He promised an e-mailed quote later that day. I was impressed with his sales skills and his knowledge. After looking through the quote and discussing the financing options with my husband I reached back out to Jeff the next morning. He stopped by my house on my lunch break and he further laid out the financing. They were offering (if approved) 0 down, 0 APR for 72 mo. I was not planning on getting an air conditioning unit and replacing a furnace now, but the deal seemed to good. So Jeff signed me up. Then everything happened so quick. Jeff had his team out to our house by 10am the next morning and before 4pm that night we had a brand new, fully functioning furnace and air conditioner. It was almost like I was in a dream! The team that installed our unit was lead by a great man. He was kind, knowledgable, caring, and contentious. It was a snowy day outside and our yard is muddy, he was respectful of our home and floors. He laid down drop cloths that they could walk on to come in and out. I could tell he was a hard worker, he definitely seemed to need to remind his other 2 teammates to do things right and pick up the pace many times throughout the day. I was thankful for him. I'm not sure I would have been as pleased if either of the two other guys were in charge or had come alone. Ultimately though, we were happy with the work and the thorough explanation from the lead installer after the fact. He made sure we had all need instructions before they cleaned up and headed out. And now we have a new furnace and for the first time ever central air in our house. It is amazing. What a great deal. There are a couple more days in January, if you happen to need a new furnace and air conditioner, I highly suggest giving Logan AC and Heat a call. Ask for Jeff to come out, he will sell you on anything. read more

We still got a few other quotes on units, but ultimately we went with Logan. They were able and to get our unit installed in about a week and we worked with Carl again, who made it an overall easy experience. read more

EDIT as of 9/22 the system is still not working. I have filed a dispute with my bank and a BBB complaint. From one hardworking homeowner to another, please do not use Logan if you hope to get what you paid for. "Abysmal, unprofessional, and misleading" best describes Logan's products, service, and communication. We had two furnaces and two A/Cs units installed in our home in July. Nearly two months and 5+ follow-up service visits later, they are still not working correctly. To date, we have not received what we paid thousands of dollars for, and the most worrying part is that Logan seems to be in no hurry at all to resolve it. I would not recommend Logan to anyone, and, in fact, have already begun to dissuade family, friends, and colleagues from considering them for any service or product. We needed to replace our two A/Cs and came across very positive views about Logan. We bought into Jeff's sales pitch about the efficiency of their units, the great service, how our bill would go down dramatically, how dust would decrease. But we were misled. Shame on us for believing him, but shame on him for selling us something he couldn't deliver. He pointed out that one of our existing furnaces was installed backwards and called it stupid. Spoiler alert: Logan installed it backwards, too. The units were installed by Doug, Dallas, Mason, and Alex (they asked us to include their names in our review). The next day we noticed both A/Cs weren't working correctly. Salman came out and said the installers had connected the WiFi sensors to the wrong unit. He made adjustments to both A/Cs and told us we were good to go. That night we realized one of the A/Cs still wasn't working correctly. They sent out Randy, who turned up the power output and contradicted something Salman had said (this is a theme at Logan). Randy seemed very knowledgeable and we felt confident he had fixed the issue. But no, it wasn't fixed. The next time they sent Joe, who said one of our A/Cs was not calibrated correctly (why it took an install and three visits to realize this is baffling) and that he would need to come back to replace it. At this point we expressed our disappointment at Logan's quality and service. Joe said he would come back with the Service Manager, Bill. When he came back to re-install the thermostat, Bill was a no-show. Joe said Bill would monitor our thermostats remotely and call us within 3-4 days. Surprise--Bill didn't call. I spoke to Bill on the phone, hopeful for a resolution, but he made it seem like multiple visits to address an issue is customary for Logan. He even said it will likely take MORE visits to fix it since they'll have to take full reads (again) and contact Trane (for the first time in this process). Keep in mind that these are brand new units. Brand new units shouldn't need to be fixed or replaced. Bill was a no-show (again) to visit number 5 and instead sent Chris and Nate. Chris contradicted some things that another tech said and was quick to abandon any company integrity, responsibility accountability by justifying and defending the fact that the units aren't working correctly and saying as the Service Manager, "well if a tech said that I can't answer for him" or "if the rep said that you'll have to take it up with him." So here we are, waiting to schedule visit number 6, just trying to get what we paid for. Each call we make and visit we have to be here for is time spent away from work. Taking time off work to babysit Logan, combined with the exorbitant electric bill, is literally costing us money. This was a huge purchase and we are so disappointed, frustrated, and exhausted at the follow-up we've had to do just to get what we paid for, which should have worked on day 1. We chose what we believed to be a reputable company and spent more than we had planned in order to have a reliable HVAC system. I am writing this review in hopes that Logan makes this right and that others don't make the same expensive mistake of choosing Logan. read more

AC unit started making loud noises and gave off a slight burning smell. Called Logan and they were able to come out that same day. This is the only positive thing I have to say. The technician diagnosed the problem immediately as being a bad blower motor. He then immediately went hard and fast into salesman mode. Says he can replace the motor but it will take a few days to get in and will be over $1000 for the parts and install. Then lists all the other reasons why we should just get a whole new system. My dad has been an HVAC technician for 45 years. He lives in another state or I would have had him fix it. After this guy leaves, I call my dad and he tells me it should be no more than $300 to fix the blower motor and the guy is just BSing us into buying a new system. We found a blower motor online for $150 and got it via next-day shipping. After watching a few youtube videos and a few FaceTime calls with my dad, we were able to take the old motor out and install the new one ourselves with relative ease. When we started the AC back up after this, the new blower motor worked but the outside condenser unit didn't turn on. After one last FaceTime call with my dad, we find out the Logan technician apparently disconnected the condenser unit from the control board. My dad confirmed there is no reason to do this, so the technician couldn't have just forgotten to hook it back up. He did it in another attempt to sell us a new unit. Pretty shady! read more

Review about Logan Air in Columbus Ohio. I requested an invoice that breaks down parts versus labor and was told it would not be provided. After doing some research it appears my labor charges may have been in the $500 an hour range as the part was not very expensive. When my car is worked on I get an invoice that is broke down by parts and labor. That is all I am asking now so that I know I was treated fairly. I feel they are hiding unjustified labor costs from me. On the positive side, the technician was great and the service was timely. However, I would not recommend them unless they are more transparent. read more

The installers made several errors on my furnace/AC install. The PVC pipe for drainage from both my humidifier and furnace leaked, and had to be redone. Also, the point for my furnace to go from stage 1 to stage 2 was improperly set. And they forgot to caulk where the AC line enters the house. They did send people out to fix those issues. I was also disappointed that the venting system for high efficiency furnaces was not fully explained to me. I have been dealing with mice problems at my home. The pest control company I use said that mice and chipmunks could easily enter the vent system. Logan said that they would not put a screen over it, because it will freeze from condensation, and shut down my system. If I had known that, I would not have purchased a high efficiency system. read more

I see the negative reviews here, many quite emotional. Our experience was purchasing from Logan a house-wide Mitsubishi splits system. This is high tech gear, which only Logan is truly qualified to install and service in central Ohio, believe me, I tried getting other quotes. The person who came out to design a custom install and provide a bid; then the two guys who installed the system; another guy who came to clean the units two years later; then the service guys who fixed a unit today that started acting funny--they fixed it with a reset requiring no parts--as well as the phone answerers who scheduled each event: these have all been super nice and terrifically competent folks. They have been clear and tech-focused rather than sales focused, and so far they have responded as promised and left us satisfied. I recommend them highly. Maybe if something goes sideways for whatever reason, try communicating with them directly and calmly. That might be a more pragmatic approach than screaming or cussing or threatening to get an attorney and attack them or blasting them with toxic reviews online. Just saying. read more

I purchased a new AC/Heating system for my home. I had 2 guys come out to my home to install the units the very next day. Bobby Frye and Matt D. were the 2 guys who came out. They were very professional and did and excellant job both with installation and explaining everything to me, They went thru all of the materal, the showed me how to use the new thermostat and they even helped me download an app for my iphone to use on the new thermostat. They cleaned up everything. If you have a new system put in your home ask them to send Bobby Frye and Matt D. The are great and will do a super job. read more

I was contacted by the company due to my review and complaints. It was a lot of phone tag and honestly, a huge waste of my time because they didn't actually do anything to remediate the issues. They pretty much told me that my complaints were invalid because certain things weren't in the contract and that the people that worked on our install had no idea what we were talking about. I was also told that the install team didn't use our gravel to level the AC unit, but that they bring their own gravel to work sites; which I find VERY hard to believe. Let alone that they happened to bring the exact same pea gravel we used in our patio, but that's what they said. They were more than happy to send out more people to look at things, but of course, we'd have to pay for it. I'm just done dealing with this company, it's been such a nightmare. I called asking how much it would cost for someone to look at our air conditioner that was not working. The women on the phone was extremely rude and condescending. She laughed at me after I explained what was going on, and then she stated there was no way to tell how much it would cost for someone to come take a look at our air conditioner and diagnose the problem. Throughout the conversation she interrupted me several times and continued laughing, rather than answering my questions. I said I would contact someone else and she stated that she would have her dispatcher call me anyways to set up an appointment. When I declined, she persisted. She would not take no for an answer. Had horrible experience today. A/C out and refrigerant pressure low. However company policy per tech is to not do leak checks on systems they did not install. Was only interested in selling a maintenance plan and installing refrigerant ($250) which would be lost if compressor needed to be replaced. There are better companies Regarding Logan's response, the repair was $849 out the door - much cheaper than a replacement! Also supports my philosophy of reduce, reuse and recycle! I called because my air conditioner was making a noise. I'm two states away and can't look at things myself. The tech came in, checked it out and quite simply, there was one part of my heater that kept vibrating against another. (The same part that apparently someone else had taped together with electrical tape had come loose.) So the tech zip tied it together. For zip tying it, he charged $47 -15 minutes (which rounds to an hour) of labor in addition to the $100 charge for his initial visit. The report that was sent to him said that my heater wasn't working, so he thought he was investigating that. When I called my complaint was that my heater was being loud, not that my heater wasn't working. I am of the mindset that you should try to prevent problems before they get bigger, so I wanted to make sure it was ok. This just doesn't feel right to me. I totally understand the $99 charge, but the $47 charge makes me feel like I got an idiot tax. That's really insulting. read more
