I cannot recommend Zac Reish and his crews highly enough. They transformed a dated, fussy landscape full of high-maintenance shrubbery into a modern, water-friendly oasis for our new home in Redlands. Zac was very easy to work with, as were all his crew, and he worked with the contractor who built our pergola as well as our general contractor with no problems. He also listened to what we wanted and helped me keep costs under control as well. They landscaped our backyard, part of the front (more to do later), built two planting beds, and overhauled the sprinkler system on our .75 acre property. Zac even met me at the house one night to make adjustments to the lighting when we could actually see it at work. After a year-long home and yard renovation, believe me, I'm exhausted from the whole process, but Zac made this part of the job easy. I was referred to Paramount by an expert arborist when looking to upgrade our landscape. Zac is the owner, and he truly cares about making his customers happy and that their new landscape is the best in the neighborhood, AND he delivers on that for sure. He is priced fairly for the quality of work that is done. Zac from Paramount Landscape helped us create a landscape that we will enjoy for years as it fills out. They removed several tress that had become problems. They replaced all our irrigation systems, controller, and added pipes for drainage. Created concrete borders front and back. Planted almost 200 plants/ trees. Created a "creek bed" in back yard. Created "boulder walls". Placed gravel on side yards. And, installed 2 tons of flagstone in decomposed granite for walkways. We gave some rough layout sketches to Zac and he selected plant material for us and fine tuned our plan. He worked with us for small changes during the planning process. We had to work with our HOA, which caused long delays, but Zac worked with us through our scheduling issues. Our onsite lead was Israel and he was a pleasure to work with. Israel and his team were on time every day and met their schedules. Even when I added some significant work for side yards and walkways. Israel was detail oriented and meticulous in all his work. We saw Zac's ad in Your Villa magazine and liked the professional look of the photos. We called him and were so impressed with his response that we didn't call our other two options! We are so glad we went with Paramount and Zac. Although we had somewhat of an idea of how we wanted to redo our backyard, we weren't sure how to pull it all together. That's where Zac's plant and landscaping knowledge shined. He gave us references and we were able to look at some of his projects. Then he worked with us to come up with a design plan that incorporated our wants with plants that would thrive in our climate and with our poor clay soil. But that was only the beginning. Sprinkler installation, cement curbing, river rock, and lighting were also used to turn our adequate back yard into a resort oasis! Zac at Paramount is awesome. I called around looking for people to come out and give me an estimate on landscaping my front yard and found Zac in "My Villa" magazine. He said he could come out three days later, but contacted me the next day and said he was in the area and asked if he could stop by. I said yes, and he showed up right on time and gave me an estimate before he left. He called me a couple of days later to follow up and we came up with a plan. He then came over and we looked at his website so he could show me ideas for plants and designs. His website really reflects his work. When the day came to start, he and his crew showed up before the time they said they would and started right away. Usually you have to wait for a contractor to show up, but Zac is always on time or early. He finished the job in two days, and the yard looks awesome. Every neighbor that has passed by the house, said it looks great. And when I saw it for the first time, I was blown away. I would highly recommend Zac, he seriously values customer service, and he does it the way you want it. Give him a call, and let him take over your yard. One thing he told me was, "you just have to trust me!" I said no doubt, just make it look like the ones on your website, and he said "don't worry, it's going to come out looking great, and I'm really excited about it." When it came time to installing the plants and trees, he and his crew had tape measures out to make sure the plants were centered and I even saw him step back and look at the bushes to make sure that the correct side was facing the street. It was great to see someone take so much pride in his work. About a week later I noticed there was a little puddle forming in the planter, I called Zac and he said to send him a picture, he had someone out within two hours and had the issue fixed right away. Just a small piece of debris was keeping the line open, but his crew Member fixed it right up and gave me some watering tips for the next coming seasons. It's been about a month and half since the yard has been completed, and I still am blown away every time i pull up into the drive way. Definitely give Paramount landscape a call! Last month we received an almost $600.00 WATER BILL !!! How could that be...no sign of water anywhere!! After the water company made sure it was not a water meter problem, I hired a leak detection company to find the leak but even with their fancy equipment they came up empty...but they had no problem with giving me a bill. All we knew at that point was that the leak was not in the house or the pool. The problem was outside somewhere. Having had Zak beautifully redo our huge front yard 5 years ago, I called Zak and he immediately came to investigate the leak. He spent time isolating many different values/sections throughout our over half acre fully landscaped home. Of course we did not want to start trenching our entire landscape. After analyzing the situation, Zak and his team decided to only dig two holes. That allowed them to make several additional decisions as to where the source of the leak might be. They then installed a 50 foot (temporary) above ground water line (without trenching) which confirmed that the leak was in this area. They were then able to reinstall that section underground and complete the job. To say the least we could have been digging and trenching for days and the job was done in just one day. read more

Aside from fixing a broken valve (much appreciated), I'm not too sure what else they accomplished. Our 6000sq ft. slope was totally transformed by Zac at Paramount Landscape & Irrigation! Prior to this, we have invested $$$ to maintaining our slope as well has our sweat equity of weeding (on weekends/and evenings) within a 12 year span. After many researches and options, my husband and I met with Zac. Our meeting with Zac left me very excited to see the final project. He does listen to your "wants" and his professional suggestions was very appreciated. He and his team completed this project under the projected completion date. The final product is a 6000sq ft drought tolerate, bird, humming bird, butterfly, beneficial bug friendly beautiful and amazing garden! The reconstructed irrigation system works to ensure all plants and trees are watered. Our only regret...is we wished we had done this years ago with "Paramount Landscape". We would be enjoying this beautiful garden in its anticipated established state. Zac Reish, owner of Paramount Landscape, met with me to discuss replacing my leaking sprinkler system and my goals to landscape the front yard of my home. He suggested a design that is very simple and clean but that made my house 'pop'. He reduced the lawn area, adding a variety of colorful plants (he listened when I told him I liked color) to a side bank that he expanded to match the lines of the lot. At night, lights highlight landscape and architectural features. I made two very smart decisions when it came to this project: 1: hiring Zac, and 2: allowing him the freedom to design the landscape. Zac did a good job designing/installing my front water tolerate yard. However, his follow-up afterwards was not as he promised. He did not abide by his guarantee is to replace any plants that have died within the first year and to also address any issues you have for the first year. I have made multiple attempts to contact him, with no response. Have I become "testy" with him yes, but it is out of frustration of lack of response and keeping his "word". He designed, installed and planted. He returned one time to add another light. "Drove" by and advised me I needed to water more.... There were no after care instructions... frequency of irrigation, fertilizing, lighting management (manual of instructions).... He informs me via text....I am very disappointed. read more
