I found Norbert's landscape company on yelp and decided to send them a message requesting an estimate based on all their great reviews. Norbert messaged me right away letting me know Rudy would be calling me. Sure enough, Rudy called me within an hour and was over same day to provide me the estimate. Rudy spent a lot of time with me letting me know what was possible on our steep slope and listening to all my concerns. He quoted me a great price for all the work and put the agreement in writing via text. Rudy and his team came back to following week to do the job and left everything ever better than I expected. They cleaned the hillside (steep slope), trimmed all my overgrown trees, fixed our sprinklers and did an amazing job cleaning everything up. I have never had a landscape company clean up as well as they did. I will definitely be calling them for my next landscape job which will include adding more plants to the hillside. read more

Norbert and his amazing crew just finished a huge overhaul of my back and side yard, after having just finishing my front yard in Waterwise landscaping. I wish I had "before" pics, I was honestly embarrassed of my back yard. Ancient, dried up crabgrass, a patio that had been excavated 40 plus years ago and the dirt piled up around the patio with scalloped brick holding it back. I now have level ground, gorgeous brick planters and expertly installed plants, perfectly installed irrigation and lighting. It's everything and more than I ever wanted. Pricing is fair, and Norbert is wonderful (as is his crew, headed up by the brilliant and cheerful Rudy) for helping me to form an idea of what I wanted. Rudy and his brother spent 4 days here re-doing our entire sprinkler system. We have 3 controllers, 26 Valves and many sprinklers and drip system devices. They totally replaced 500 feet of 1/2" tubing and all or the emitters; all 26 Hunter Valves, many of the sprinkler heads, Buried above ground pop-Ups, Replaced several Sprinkler heads, Moved several sprinkler heads (for better coverage). This guy is awesome! He showed up on time for our estimate and took the consultation seriously; asked pertinent questions and addressed our concerns rather than dismissing them. After touring our entire yard, he quoted my husband a number on the spot. Just, boom, here's what I'll do it for, you wanna do it? No fuss, no muss. He sent a proposal in writing that night, but we appreciated knowing what we could expect to pay immediately. We thought his price was extremely reasonable and we booked him. In two days, he and his crew thinned out our trees, trimmed everything, mowed, edged, yanked out a ton of overgrowth, and disposed of everything. We LOVE our yard! Norbert is great - we discovered him just recently from all of his five star reviews on Yelp and they are well deserved. He was easy to work with: while he offered lots of good suggestions on what we could do with our yard, he was always careful to listen to what we wanted. He went above and beyond his original estimate, fixing several sprinklers that he found were broken without asking for more money even when I offered. He clearly cares about doing a good job. This was a big job - his team filled a huge dumpster with all the weeds they pulled and overgrown vegetation that they trimmed back. He showed up every day early in the morning with his crew and I often saw him working side by side with them. He clearly respects his workers and they seem to work well together. Now that our yard is cleaned up so we can see what it actually looks like, I'm going to have him do another big job for us - bring in some dirt to level off some of our lot in spots, plant some new ground cover, install some drip lines, etc. I'm looking forward to working with Norbert again on this next job! read more

I recently filled out Norberts online request for service but I instead got a phone call from Rudy M which I thought was strange. Rudy came over two days later to give me an estimate. I asked him who Norbert was and told me that he's his boss. Long story short, Rudy gave me an outrageous quote for a grand total of $1150.00 (including discount for using my supplies) for a tune-up and sprinkler repair. I complained to him that his quote was WAY TOO HIGH and that he charges more per day than a contractor. He repeatedly told me that the job wouldn't be easy and went on and on about how long it would take in his broken English. I don't think he quite understood what I was a saying. Since I absolutely needed one broken sprinkler head repaired that day, I had Rudy replace it with mine, not Norberts for a whopping $50 which took him less than ten minutes to fix. Needless to say, I immediately hired a more trustworthy, highly regarded and PROFESSIONAL service for less than $200.00. I had both an emergency repair to the irrigation system and a reinstall of the existing system. Rudy was prompt for the emergency repair and added a few nice touches that made it work better. He had to change the original date for the system reinstall, but once he showed up he did an excellent job including several side jobs of problems in the yard that he had noticed while working on the irrigation. His overall knowledge of how lawn irrigation works is very good, he is hard working and willing to work with his client. I was quite pleased and recommend Rudy. I left a message for Norbert and I got a call back from Rudy. He said he'd be over by noon to see what I needed. Rudy gave me an estimate and I was ok with it. He said he'd be over at 8 AM and he was on time. He texted me before he came to the door. He got to work right away, left once to get fittings, was back in 15 minutes. Rudy and his assistant were very professional and worked until the job was done. The valves look beautiful, all the pipe is underground, each of my 60+ rose bushes has its own dripper. He then ran the pipe to the backyard (underground) so that no PVC was on top of the concrete. He put a new Orbit Timer in the garage, tested everything, showed me how it works. After I looked around for estimates to complete some irrigation and landscape work for my home (backyard and front yard), I found Norbert's estimate to be one of the best. He listened to what I wanted done, and after deciding on choosing him, the work was done quickly afterwards. You were a great student in the class. You took wire tracking and electrical troubleshooting I would recommend you on this. Excellent on controller programming and scheduling. You repaired over 20 different types of valves in the class you are very familiar with all of them. Water water management class you were very good and added a lot to the class to the other students. Called to inquire about getting an estimate on sprinkler installation, and landscaping. He asked what I wanted and it told him that we wanted a path of broken concrete. He replied "and where am I going to get broken concrete from?" I knew I should have hung up then but I replied, "we have it and would like to recycle it. With his condescending tone he said, "why would you want broken concrete? He then asked where I was and I said we are located in Eastvale. He rudely said, "I don't service Eastvale, I only service Corona." Baffled by his idiotic response, I said "ok, my mail still reads Corona" His ass winning response was "yeah well, Eastvale is not Corona." I guess I should have known by his portfolio (narcissistic picture of himself) that his landscaping skills are non-existent not to mention his professionalism. read more

Norbert and his excellent crew was the principal contractor for a complete renovation of my back and side yards. Included tractor work clearing and leveling all areas around the house including access to the back from the driveway. Applied a 3" layer of Decomposed Granite in all open areas including access from the driveway and a large RV parking area as well as around 4 above ground cherry wood planters they built and stocked with planting soil and plants. Also constructed a railroad tie retainer wall across my rear slope and supplied with plants behind it. Provided a drip system for all planted areas. Everything was made to be drought tolerant and as maintenance free as possible. They turned an unusable desert looking weed farm into the foundation for a completely usable yard to which I added new fencing and a covered patio. Couldn't be happier with the results and would recommend to anyone needing expert landscaping service. A straight talker who will work to create your vision of what you want. read more
