I obtained a few estimates from different contractors, and they were not the cheapest, but they were reasonably priced with far better reviews than the cheaper option, which is another reason I chose them. Thomas is highly responsive to communication, which again is quite unusual with most contractors in my experience, so that was a nice plus too. They provided evidence of insurance upon request. We paid a 50% deposit to get on the schedule and I was able to pay that by credit card without an extra fee, which was appreciated since it allowed me to get reward points on the purchase. A crew of three guys came out to the house early in the morning and completed the job just before dark. They did a phenomenal job. Each step was documented with pictures to show where rotten decking needed to be replaced, and an explanation of everything. Despite already being reasonably priced, Thomas gave us a nice discount for the extra decking on the final invoice, which was a happy surprised and very much appreciated. They also cleaned up very well after themselves. If you need a new roof or any kind of roof work, Tom and Jerry Roofing is the best there is without a doubt!

Drew, our salesman, made no promises, but actually participated on a conference call when I filed the insurance claim. That was just the start of exceptional service. The repairs were scheduled quickly and every aspect of the process was explained in detail. Prior to move day the shingles and supplies were delivered. The company dropping it off was very professional and made sure it was staged exactly where we desired to avoid any issues with access to our garage. Come move day, the roofers showed up as scheduled. I was not home during this part of the process as I work from home and it is a rather noisy process. I received photos throughout the day along with progress reports of the project. Drew even called me from his own wedding rehearsal to let me know they were done. My roof, which was rather large was completed in one day. The dumpster was picked up promptly the next day. My husband and I walked around the house once we returned home and there was no visible signs on the ground that my entire roof had been replaced. No trash, old shingles, nails, etc to be found! We have since, after a rainstorm, found two nails, however as Drew explained, that could be expected. I would highly recommend Whitaker Roofing for all your roofing needs. I got an estimate for the same Atlas Pinnacle Impact roof, with all of the same warranties for $15,000. Now you see why I am writing this review. Are you kidding me. Just the thought of that kind of price discrepancy causes consternation. But this is Georgia where I have run into many shysters. I called my insurance office and they recommended Crestmark again. Things started off well and they had David come out to take some photos to show to Ryan. After some back and forth they got back to me saying that it would be worth filing a homeowners claim. After I filed the claim the adjuster came out and Ryan met him out here. Then came the struggle. Trying to get an estimate was difficult. Ryan would say "I'll have it to you by tomorrow" and it wouldn't happen. It took nearly 2 weeks to get an estimate from Ryan. Finally, I was able to get an estimate. Now, I was trying to schedule the work. I wasn't in a huge hurry or anything, but I needed to know a time frame of when the work might be done. I took another couple weeks to get it scheduled. The siding was replaced and the roof repaired and that went well. As part of the claim they were supposed to pressure wash my house to get the smoke off. Originally Ryan said it would be the next day after the siding was complete, but then said he needed to see when Dale could come. After contacting him about scheduling the pressure washing it took about a week to get a response. Dale came out and started washing, he only worked 15 mins and then he left and was gone for 20 minutes. This happened several times. He rang my door bell at one point and said he was out of gas and wanted to know what I wanted him to do. He also asked if I had any gas. This is really unprofessional. He never finished the job. After a couple days the sun came out and I looked closer at the house and there was bad streaking. I had already emailed Ryan to let him know about the experience with the pressure washer and he never answered. My fiancé texted Ryan about the streaking. He responded very quickly that he would see if they could come back out the next day. That was the last we heard from him and that was a week and a half ago. We ended up renting a pressure washer and doing the job ourselves. I wouldn't use this company again based on how I was treated. They don't care about customer satisfaction once they have been paid.
