Got to-go order from Paranthe wali gali. The order was packed well in the separate pizza style boxes. Got cream cheese & chicken paratha for the kiddos, which he and I both relished. And Sharabi kukad, its a little spicy. And butter chicken and mutton kheema, these 2 were a little dry (hence the 4 stars) but with the curd and gravy it tasted very good. Highly overrated! This restaurant has build such a huge name that they have people lining up for hours just to get and and thrown they take another hour to put food on your table. I checked the restaurant to test out if they are worth the craze of people standing in lines. I ordered the following items: Dahi Puri- it's was really good, I would highly recommend to order this if you ever made through the line. Chef special butter chicken parantha - this is served with Cashew Gravy/Dal Makhni, butter and achaar. The parantha was very salty, oily and had a burnt crust. I would not recommend at all. Having heard good things from family and friends when opened, finally visited this place. I assumed lots of varieties thought there would be some good vegan options. Second the serving staff should know what vegan options are after having informed we were vegans and let us know if any of the items we ordered would have dairy in them. He said the kitchen staff would not add butter to the paranthas which was fine. We ordered Tandoori Soya Chaap, one Veg Biryani and one Kolhapuri Parantha. Requested if we replace the yogurt and Creamy Makhani Daal with Channa/Chole but we were denied which was very disappointing. Ordered a over priced Chole and Roti to got with it as well. Nothing special about both the Parathas. Too over priced IMO and size and taste did not leave a wow factor. The paranthas were so overly greased that we just could not finish it. The Biryani parantha I am sure had paneer in it as the pieces of paranthas that we took home had some. The chaap I am sure also had yogurt and my stomach said it so. I had a lovely time with friends here. This place was recommended by my Indian colleagues, and our group came from Toronto and drove all the way here for dinner. We got to sample 6 different parathas plus 1 chaat papri between our group of 4 and it was more than enough food to satisfy all of us. We were served well by our waiter Dushyant who really knew the menu and helped us by offering informed advice about the available food items and what to order. If I had to be nitpicky, I will call out a couple of things that prevented an overall perfect dining experience. First is that the place does not serve water. You have to order bottled water for $3. Next is that personally I am not a fan of having the menu laid out underneath the table glass. This place is located on the 107 and airport Rd in Brampton so getting to this place on the GPS is pretty easy. This was one of the very few restaurants which had cocktails to-Go (pretty interesting right ?). We ordered for a tandoori, Biriyani, Butter chicken lovers and few cocktails. Two of the cocktails were OK in liquor content but the "Sex on the beach" was totally fruit juice( Where is the Vodka?). The Tandoori was little dry and flavor was too smokey. It was ok in taste. The butter chicken lovers on the other hand was very good in taste. The garlic sauce they offered with it was just the perfect dip to it. Now how was the Biriyani? It was a DISASTER!! The rice felt almost spoiled even though we tasted as soon as they gave it to us. "If you don't know to make a good Biriyani, please take it off your list or learn it well and then list it in your menu". Please understand that you are dealing with one of the world's most ordered food menu item so please make sure its your best menu item. The service was very slow like every item you order new they took about 35 minutes to make it more. The staffs were very busy but were very responsive. We had 2 Paneer Burji parathas and 1 Noor Paneer Tikka paratha. Noor Paneer Tikka paratha was very salty. Visiting Mississauga with med school friend and he took me this restaurant. Located in the heart of Brampton, this place was buzzing and constantly busy even though there was a full on snow storm going on outside. Luckily we went right before lunch time and only had to wait 25 minutes to be seated. For anyone that loves Indian food, this is a must visit place. More over if you are a paratha lover, might come here. With a menu with over 100 different options that they stuff freshly In the paratha, you could come back multiple times and never run out of options. This place is a gem in the town of Brampton! Went here on a Saturday evening and it was packed! The hostess was very nice and allowed us to order appetizers while we waited for a table! I tried the hariyali chicken and my husband tried one of their Indian beers! We then tried two of their infamous parathas, which were nothing short of amazing!! They have an extensive menu and unique find such as the kalakand paratha, a paratha with barfi inside! If you like parathas and a friendly atmosphere, this is your go-to place in Brampton! I went in because I love trying new foods; and I'd read about this place being yummy....so I gave it a try last weekend. I went in and the place is TINY. But it was absolutely packed. And everyone was laughing and eating and really enjoying themselves. You could see the food was presented well.... and the smell was divine. My mouth was watering as I scanned the menu. I always like to ask what's the house specialty and what is the place known for. The young lady was super helpful; especially after i told her it was my first visit. She steered me towards the paneer paranthe and I also ordered the channa one from the spicy side of the menu. The paneer was perfect. I can't wait to try it again! And wow...the spicy is SPICY. The parathas were all tasty and not oily ( we had ordered 6 parathas 2 biriyanis and 2 starters and the Bill was close to $170). The biriyani was good too.
