I have been sick for many, many years with parasites. The test done by my doctor just a few weeks earlier came back negative for parasites. I have taken many test over many years that were negative for parasites. I was getting sicker and sicker. I was having a lot of stomach problems and I could not eat certain foods because my stomach would hurt . I sent in stool samples to Parasitology to test for parasites. They found parasites ,and they sent detailed information to my doctor with regard to what they found. If you are having any problems, use this company. If you have parasites, they will find them. I travel frequently to South America where exposure to amoebas and parasites is not uncommon. But many doctors here in NYC want to wait and see if your symptoms get any worse before testing. And they aren't sure what to test for! When traveling it's always best to be treated right there, where you got sick, because local clinics know what to test for. But often you are on the move and can't do that. I spoke to someone at Parasitology Center in 2011 and they sent me two test kits right away and told me how to use them. What a relief to know I was fine. I just returned from a trip to Ecuador and don't feel well. I will use the other kit for peace of mind. Love this place. read more

I sent in a specimen that was clearly more than fecal matter. I filled out the entire questionnaire and requested an email with the results. I was told that the email would come in within the week. A month later I called to find out what the results were and was told that the doctor put down the only thing discovered was fecal matter. Looking at the picture of specimen that I sent in, it's obvious that it's more than fecal matter. Whether it was stomach lining mucus or an actual parasite it's obvious to the layman let alone a doctor that there's a lot more going on here than just fecal matter. The lack of follow up and opportunity to even connect with the doctor leads me to suspicious activity with this company. I don't feel that they are legit company that knows what they are doing. The doctor will not correspond via email or phone consultation regardless of how much you desired to communicate with the doctor. They would not look at the photos of my specimen , they wanted nothing to do with me unless I spent more money. I would not waste your time or money with this organization. They are not thorough and leave you with tons of questions unanswered. Steer clear of this company do yourself a favor go elsewhere. read more

Absolutely love their Mangosteen and Detox products. I use to get 5 shots twice a week for allergies. Cant stand the sprays. Read about and started taking manogsteen. Now I dont get the shots anymore and the mangosteen seems to really help. I assume it is from the anti-inflammatory properties. Keeps me breathing at night. read more

the Parasitology Center (PCI) and Dr. Omar Amin are a total fraud / scam / fake / rip off / waste of money and time and energy! i don't think "dr" amin even looked at my specimens that I paid hundreds of dollars for him to identify. one included a large (size of a pencil eraser) black insect with legs and wings and antenna, and his findings were "they are all tissue, no parasites found".... then when i questioned doctor omar amin (reviews) about this and his education, he flipped out on me and said he wouldn't talk to me any more... after i paid him over $1200!!!!!! these guys are fakers / con artists / scammers and DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!! they sell overpriced Vemma juice as a solution to infestation.... and they mark up the price: I paid over $200 for two bottles of fruit juice becuase i trusted this guy. don't fall for it! he preys on the sick and vulnerable! luckily i used my Visa and was able to get my money back! other reviews i have read include that he has gotten in trouble for hiring / using untrained staff and that he hasn't found obvious parasites that other real doctors (MDs) have found... A very unprofessional lab. Beware. We spent the money to have a full GI panel done believing that first it was to be done in the US, however the actual lab work was done in Mexico. After getting our results the GI panel showed evidence of an intestinal parasite. However their Summary page for treatment listed medicine, available only thru the CDC, for treatment of a liver parasite which DOES NOT work in getting rid of intestinal parasites. Our attempt to get clarification on just what parasite and what medicine to use, which you would think was a fair and simple question, gave us NO clarification whatsoever. So even after paying for their full GI panel we are back at square one as the staff, and doctors, refuse to give us an clear answer. I have used the Parasitology Center for years and when labs in Florida found nothing in my samples from the same day I sent to the center. I did have to wait 2 weeks for results because they were more involved. I had 2 internal bacterial infections and one that was in the process of killing me ! After following their recommended approach and letting me know what antibiotics would kill then off and which would do nothing I was able to get my life back. Thank you and if you know you have a problem and other hospitals/clinics find nothing I would highly recommend using this clinic. As for the gentleman who wrote an earlier comment ..Parasites that grow inside of us usually cant even be seen,but having one with wings its hard to fly in the intestines ! This company's customer service is abysmal. My wife followed the instructions on the Instructions Form that came with the test collection kit, and sent the collection kit back to the lab within the time frame. According to the Instruction Form, "lab results will be available to your physician within 2-5 days of receipt of sample." She overnighted the collection kit and have UPS receipt that it was received on Tuesday 1/16/18 before 10am with a signature. Her results were NOT made available to her doctor within the 2-5 days as stated on the form, and as a result were not available in time for her appointment with her doctor. When she called Parasitology Center to find out what happened she spoke with the Parasitology Center office manager and was told that the 2-5 day turn around time starts when "someone gets around to picking up the mail because it is located at a drop center" and hers "was not picked up until Wednesday or Thursday." When she asked for a refund because the form was misleading she was laughed at. When she asked for the Instruction Form to be changed so it accurately reflects company policy, so other people do not have this issue, she was told that "yeah, that's not how we work, and we aren't going to change anything." And again, she was laughed at. When she asked to talk with a supervisor or manager or owner the office manager assured her nothing would be done, she was not allowed to talk with anyone else, and she was again laughed at. He told her unless she called ahead to request 3 day processing, she was at the whim of whoever was processing her labs to determine when the 2-5 days starts. But, again, the Instructions Form does not state this information or give this option. She would have happily called before she sent in the collection kit, if it said on the Instructions Form that she was required to do so or that there was even a faster option available. But again, none of this is stated on the form. It's aggravating enough that the Instruction Form doesn't accurately reflect company policy, but to be laughed at when that fact is pointed out is just insulting and demeaning. read more
