My girlfriend and I have rented trucks four times from the Camino Casa Verde U-haul location. The…read morenumber one reason we continue to rent from them is customer service. The individuals who work there are extremely friendly and accommodating. There isn't anything that seems to be a bid deal to them. Every time my girlfriend and I think we may have a problem with something regarding the truck rental (reservation, pick-up, return, and or equipment) the answer is always, "No problem. Not a big deal. We'll take care of it." As I said, the people there, at least the ones we have dealt with, are very easy-going. Here are some other things that we have noticed from our experiences with the Camino Casa Verde U-haul location: 1. They seem to have plenty of equipment to rent if you need it, particularly a nice assortment of boxes. 2. They always have a nice selection of trucks and trailers when we are on-site. 3. You can pick up keys for your rental on a Friday afternoon and then pick up your rental on Saturday morning. They will park your rental out front of their facility for your convenience. Actually, they probably do that any day of the week. 4. Their projections on what trucks will be available at their facility for a potential rental at some point in the future have been accurate in our experience. I say this because if you have dealt with U-haul via their website, then you probably know that your reservation, particularly where you will pick-up your rental, seems to change each day as well as the availability of the equipment that you wish to rent. It can cause stress. In these instances, we simply called the Camino Casa Verde location and asked that our reservation be placed with them, contingent of course, upon the availability of the truck we wanted to rent. We have never been told that they wouldn't have what we need. 5. If you happen to return your rental when the facility is not open, then you will find that there is limited room to park the vehicle out in front of their facility. If you happen to return it during a busy weekend, then I can definitely anticipate that there wouldn't be a place to leave the rental. Having said that, we haven't had that happen to us. If it did happen to us, then I feel confident that we could simply take cellphone pictures of the crowded lot, email Camino Casa Verde via the U-haul app about our situation, and then return the rental the following morning. In that scenario, I would expect them tell us, "It's not an issue. Don't worry about it. You won't incur any additional charges." Of course, I don't know this for a fact; but based on my experience there, I would be shocked if they handled it differently.

The "manager" in that particular location seems to need a lesson in civility and customer…read moreservice...I was sold 2 U-Haul dish packs which normally come with a cardboard box made to fit these packs perfectly. Apparently the employee who sold me the packs was unaware of this, and I only discovered that issue upon returning home. So I went back to that location and was told that they were out of the appropriate boxes, but could give me other boxes (into which the dish packs do not fit), or be reimbursed with a receipt. I had not kept my receipt, unaware of that policy, and did not want other unusable boxes. Upon insisting, politely, to get a refund (we were only talking about $19.00)! the "manager" became agitated, argumentative and asked me, rudely, to vacate his premises or he would call local law enforcement! I kept persisting and asked to talk to his supervisor or owner of that business. That "manager" then told me the owner of the business lived overseas (this was untrue) and he did call the police, who came shortly to sort out a $19.00 problem! I eventually left with two boxes of a size I cannot use for the inserts and that same "manager" apparently told the policemen that at that location, they sell the proper boxes separately from the inserts...another untrue statement. That so called manager needs a good training in customer service, and needs to be reminded that, in most well run businesses, the customer is "always right", or at least, give the customer the benefit of the doubt, particularly for such an insignificant amount of money. My advice, use a different U-Haul store.

This was probably one of the best decisions I have ever made. They brought 30 regular boxes, 3 large boxes, 12 blankets and 3 carts. The boxes are sturdy and stackable. It made my movers job so easy that it took less than 90 minutes for them to load my entire apartment onto the truck. And, when it came time to unpack, I had labeled all the boxes and had the boxes placed into the rooms where their contents would be placed. I didn't have to buy and haul cardboard boxes and tape. Nor did I have to throw them away when the move was finished. If this kind of business had been around the last 30 years, I would have used it back then. The price was very reasonable and not having to deal with disposing of packing boxes was a delight. If you have a choice, this is a no-brainer. Go Bungo Box.

You could have dropped the box from the top of a skyscraper and the thing would have survived unscathed. (Possibly slightly exaggerated... but not much!) You might consider it a con, but it took a good bit of effort to get through the multiple layers of protection to get to the framed map inside. I made the move from Tucson to Flagstaff (they are not just in-town Tucson movers), and they made the whole day so simple. They showed up with the trailer and somehow fit all my stuff in WITHOUT BREAKING ANYTHING! They treated my possessions with care, as if their own. I had car trouble driving up, and by the time I got there they were almost finished unpacking. They don't waste time- or your money. The rate I was charged was much lower than the other quotes, and I think this is because they don't use a giant gas/guzzling box truck. Smart! I had everything packed but there were a few items they wrapped up for me, helped clear out a small storage of old boxes that were mostly trash and took apart an exercise machine to properly load it. They also packed the pod so well and provided a strap to secure everything. Overall they were just so nice and friendly too! Booked a month in advance and the company reached out to me via text checking in multiple times leading up to the move which made me feel reassured they would show up.
