I'm visiting from New York with Boy friend from Los Angeles. Both of our palettes are totally different, But!!!! what we can both agree on is Pardi's food was absolutely amazing!!. The shrimp was big, fresh & seasoned well. The fries were also fresh, fried to perfection & seasoned well. I'm so happy we stopped by after all the amazing reviews on Social media...they did not lie. You can tell the cook is passionate about their food & cooking. I wish Pardi's food truck was in New York. I will be back for sure the next time I visit. I've been here about 4-5 times...in the past month. It's that good. I have high Cajun/creole restaurant standards-the Bayou burger exceeds those standards tenfold. The staff is ALWAYS nice, which is huge for me, especially for places I visit often. Debatably, the best part of my Pardi's experience was ordering online, paying an extra dollar for what I thought was a can soda, and receiving a 16.9oz bottle instead lol. Definitely good food ! Tried this with my wife before heading to a movie. I got the PO boy shrimp sandwich she got the bacon cheeseburger. Everything was great! Kool aid was poppin too. Only suggestion I would make is to add some good sauces to go with your items & it will be okay even better, like a house made ranch or something. But overall good! read more

Aye - I enjoyed the hell out of this plate. I ordered the Cajun pasta which included shrimp and crawfish with small piece of bread on the side. I was feeling spicy and added a piece of fish as well. The pasta has a KICK to it so be prepared. I was a little worried that I wouldn't like the pasta too much because it had crawfish in it but glad I was wrong! Oh and I enjoyed the fish as well. As a native Houstonian, I "just know" when barbecue and fried seafood are going to be good. When I saw Pardi's IG and then called to place my order, I "just knew." The service is friendly and they offer curbside.. And the food! We ordered platters: the fried shrimp and crawfish tails and the fried shrimp and fish. The shrimp were huge, CLEAN (no veins), and so delicious. The crawfish tails were also clean (no veins and stuff) and well-seasoned. I didn't have the fish, but my family enjoyed it. The regular fries and Texas toast were good. Not too greasy. We will definitely eat here many more times. read more

This little unassuming food truck serves up Cajun and Seafood that is well-seasoned. We had shrimp and crawfish with fries and catfish with shrimp. Orders were ready within 15 minutes. The 2nd visit I got the same order plus Seafood Nachos. I called ahead to make sure it was open and they called me to let me know my order was up which is a convenience. The shrimp, crawfish and catfish were cooked to perfection. The fries are regular. I wish they had other sides like cole slaw, salad or rice instead. The Seafood Nachos is made Cajun seafood with the addition of shrimp and peppers. Bottled sodas can be added to meals for $1.00. Portion size is good which makes up for the higher than average food truck prices (~$ 18 meal). Parking is limited because it's located right next to a strip with convenience stores across the street from a gas station on the north side of Almeda. I will be back though. read more

I love seeing a black owned business strive! Drove 40 minutes just for this food and it was well worth it. It's a food truck that makes everything fresh upon order. Not only was the burger and the loaded fries super delicious, but the customer service was great. The guy that helped us out was so helpful and welcoming. My friend also had the pasta from here, also super delicious and extra creamy. The prices are more than fair. Definitely recommend stopping pass here. Just make sure you have an empty stomach because they give you large portions. 5 out of 5 for me! read more

It was great Blackened but not burnt taste lots of bacon , paired with the Cajun ranch fries also delicious . The burger tasted fresh made to order as well as the fries . Packaged nicely . Omg their food is BOMB! Full of flavor, made fresh and hot. We went 2 days in a row..we had the Chinese wingz and hot wings with the Cajun fries. We also had the Bayou burger. Everything was amazing. There's flavor in EVERY bite! We had to go back and we went today and got the seafood platter that consist of fish, shrimp, fries and toast. OMG! Delicious! The seafood had the PERFECT crisp. The toast has just the right amount of butter. They also post business cards on the front of their truck so I provided them with one and his response was "I've been waiting on my next card" it warmed my heart to hear that.
