Super nice folks here. The guy that took my order spoke as soon as I opened the door then another lady came from the back and spoke. I got my son a 10 piece wing combo and I cant remember the flavors I got but he did enjoy them. He said the fries werent as crispy as he wouldve liked them but he still ate them. Both flavors of wings were good and different.

Here today! I'm back in town and looking to glut at my favorite hole in the wall food joints! While out and about, this American Deli was enroute so in keeping with the spirit of hood food I pulled right on in. As usual I ordered shrimp fried rice, 1 piece of catfish and combined all three punch flavors. Of course, to be politically correct as a food fatty I fill my cup with lemonade to quench my thirst and appreciate my people (hood folks) and wait on my order. This particular location is the original so it's outta date and a little messy, the ladies need to make it a priority to clean the dinning area at least hourly. As my order is ready, y'all know how hood people do, we get excessive condiments:)) I mix the 3 punches this round, gulp and refill. Dine and dash! Here today! There tomorrow!

I came from Atlanta, where wings are our signature dish. This is not the place you want to come to, to get wings. The rice definitely taste like it was frozen & the hot sauce for the wings taste like Louisiana hot sauce with LP sprinkles. I'm not a big fan. I asked for crispy wings. These look like they nearly got cooked long enough.

This place tucked away in a little strip center ... I found out about it via yelp so I gave it a shot. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich & lemon pepper wings w French fries. OMGeeee it was soooooo delicious. I was pleasantly surprised because I usually hate trying new foods especially when I am starving. But I am glad I did. I would like to bring my mom back one day ... I'm sure she'll love it. Ask the staff was very friendly & the food was fresh. I believe it was made to order.

My husband tried this spot for the very first time and when he opened his food he was greeted by a white ball of chewed gum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was straight disgusting and nasty! If you see the food was untouched! I even tried calling them to let them know and the lady that answered said "Nobody there chews gum" I was soooooo HOT! I will never ever eat at this establishment ever again!

When you're stuck in town but want to feel like you're in a tropical destination, The Toasted…read moreCoconut is where you need to come. The team behind the popular restaurant Nobie's opened up this tiki inspired restaurant. Tiki bars happen to be one of my favorite varieties of bars so I was more than excited to finally check it off my list. I had recently seen them on the Food Network as well. They share a lot with another popular dining spot so parking can be a little difficult in their lot. You can find street parking or park across the street in an overflow lot. Customer service was great from start to finish. We had just ate next door and our intentions were to come in here just for cocktails, but I couldn't leave without trying some of the popular items. I wanted the most tropical drink I could find on the menu so I started off with the Blue Hawaiian. I saw fire on the description so my extra self needed to have it. I'm a big rum guy so this drink was right up my alley and very boozy with two types of rum. It was very coconut forward with pineapple being the secondary flavor. One was enough for me to feel just right. Since we had just ate, we decided to share the World Famous Cheeseburger. This was a great burger. I don't know if they were going for the smash effect, but it had smash burger characteristics. It had all my favorite things that are musts on a burger like American cheese and red onions. It also had a very nice chili aioli that added great flavor to the burger. I came on another stop for a drink visit shortly after and tried the pork dumplings and popcorn chicken. These were also very good. If I lived in the area, this place would easily be a place I would frequent often. I will most definitely be back!

They have an outdoor eating area, a bar area, and seating in the very back. It's very spacious, comfortable, and intimate. The theme of the restaurant is seen all over from the moment you enter, to the music, the menu and the restroom. They paid close attention to detail with decorating. We had an amazing server, delicious drinks (a must try), and ok food. We ordered four drinks the painkilla, vamos à la playa, captains grog, and the Hemingway daiquiri. All were great drinks and we loved how they give you flavor characteristics of the drinks on the menu. The appetizers that we ordered were the sweet and sour cauliflower and the pork dumplings, which is why I gave this place four stars. The presentation of both appetizers were excellent. However, the pork dumplings were disappointing. They came with only six dumplings for $17, were served cold, and are very bland. In my opinion, they weren't worth the price. On the other hand, the sweet and sour cauliflower was our favorite and is definitely a must-try.

I opted for the high top right by the kitchen, and honestly, great choice -- it smelled amazing. Most people prefer not to sit by the kitchen with all the foot traffic but I didn't mind it at all. Nobie's is a house that's been transformed into a restaurant. One of the bartenders told me it's a 104-year-old house, and the whole place has very "house party" vibes in the best way. The music is LOUD. And it gets progressively louder as the night goes on, so if that's not your vibe, keep that in mind. But I was very into it. Lil Flip was playing when I walked in and it took me back to high school house parties. On shuffle were more throwbacks and classics: Ludacris and "Notorious Thugs" by Biggie. The chairs, however, were not my favorite. They're low-backed and kind of cage-like, with only a thin cushion, so they aren't exactly the most comfortable for a long meal. Started with a cocktail: the Remolacha del Corazón -- beet tequila, mezcal, watermelon (house-made syrup), lime and a tajín rim. You can hardly taste the mezcal, which I'm assuming is the point. I like mezcal so it would have been nice to taste it but the beet tequila is definitely the star, with the watermelon and lime adding a nice balance. Appetizer: Don't Worry, Brie Happy ($18). Brie, local honey, smoked grapes, toast. There was basically no local honey on my plate, but those smoked grapes?! They're topped with flaky salt while they're still hot and OMG!! The combination of warm, smoky, sweet and salty was fantastic. My only complaint was the amount of toast. There was a little too much toast for the amount of brie and grapes, so the ratios felt slightly off. Main course: Jamón With Your Bad Self ($45). Ibérico secreto pork steak, tonnato, shaved Brussels sprouts, salsa verde and almonds. I'm particular about pork, so I was taking a bit of a chance here, but this dish sounded too interesting to pass up. The pork steak was cooked perfectly and had some wonderfully crispy pieces around the edges. The tonnato underneath the pork was really good. It almost reminded me of a Caesar dressing and added this rich, savory element to the dish. The shaved Brussels sprouts were great, too, especially with the almonds and Parmesan. Everything worked really well together. Dessert: Olive Oil Cake. A house staple, and for good reason. A lovely way to end the meal. Overall, Nobie's has a really fun, unpretentious energy. Between the old-house setting, loud music and memorable dishes, it feels like somewhere you go to hang out as much as you go to eat. Just know what you're getting into with the volume and the seating -- this is not exactly a quiet, polished fine-dining experience, and that's kind of the charm.

Instead, it is about the way we were treated by the hospitality manager, Kryssalyn Bayne. Our party consisted of five people, including a 97-year-old senior citizen. When we arrived, four of the five members of our party were present, and there were no guests waiting to be seated. However, Ms. Bayne was focused solely on the fact that one member of our party had not yet arrived. She informed us that other guests had been seated because they had called ahead, although this option had never been communicated to us during any of our previous visits. What was most concerning was not the seating policy itself, but the manner in which we were treated. Ms. Bayne's demeanor was loud, confrontational, and, in our opinion, disrespectful. We had all just come from church and were simply trying to understand the restaurant's policy. When I politely suggested that she lower her voice, she responded by accusing me of speaking disrespectfully to her staff, despite the fact that I had not spoken to anyone other than her. Grace's has always been known for its hospitality, which made this experience especially disappointing. I believe the front-of-house staff, and particularly those in leadership positions, would benefit from additional training in customer service, de-escalation, and professional communication. Every guest deserves to be treated with courtesy and respect, regardless of the circumstances. Unfortunately, this interaction overshadowed what should have been a pleasant meal and family gathering. We were seated at Table 14 & served by Mr Lewis who was a breath of fresh air. The food was good despite the entry.

Our waitress was fantastic and the gentleman who helped refill our drink orders was very attentive and helpful. The food was good but based on the reviews, I was expecting Great. We ordered: Sicilian Tar Tar, Arancini, Cappelletti, Orecchiette, and Tiramisu. The Sicilian Tar Tar was very fresh and light however, the star dish of the evening was the complimentary bread basket. The breads are baked in-house so they tasted very fresh and so delicious. I would definitely return for the bread basket and to try other dishes but I would not order the Cappelletti or Orecchiette again. Both dishes were more on the bland side and the Tiramisu was just okay to me. Perhaps the ladyfingers were soaked too long or something because I didn't get any texture of it. I also did not taste any coffee flavor. I definitely would not order that again.
