They drug the chairs across the floor rather than picking them up. It was very loud and disruptive. The atmosphere was as unimpressive as the service and the food. The floors were not clean. They had food and debris all over. The restaurant was not busy. No one swept the hour we were there. Now the food. The food arrived and we had to ask for utensils. My friend asked for butter for grits, which never came. The potatoes had no flavor aside from fried in old grease taste. The cheese & spinach omelet was passable. Again, no flavor. I had one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had at joes's cafe…read more I placed an order and had to wait nearly 30 minutes for my food. when i finally received it, the order was incorrect.to make matters worse, the food was cold. While I was waiting inside the restaurant,I observed the manager Daneka, speaking to several customers in a rude and unprofessional manner. When I approached the counter about my order,I was on the phone with my job.As I was leaving,because I did not say goodbye,she she became upset and cursed me out,telling me to have a nice F-ing day. and said that she hates some people. reffering to me. I decided to keep the food instead of deal with the hostility. I was disappointed because the mistake was not mine,yet I was treated as though I had done something wrong. This is also not the first time I have witnessed poor customer service from her. On previous visits, I have seen her speak disrespectfully to customers, I also spoke with an Uber driver who regularly picks up orders there and said they have experienced similar issues with her and have attempted to report her multiple times without success. This visit was the final straw, and I will not be returning.
