And the other bag one of the letters was higher than the other two letters. Alice, one of the owners shrugged it off, said sometimes this happens. Made excuses about thw monogram machine does this sometimes. No apology, nada. When I got home I looked at the bags again and it was just unacceptable, plus I'm giving these for graduation gifts. I called back, tried to speak to the husband who wasn't there at the time so spoke to Alice. I told her I had brought about 20 of these bags to the previous owners of the store and never had any sloppy issues like this. She said "well sounds like you're not happy with our monogramming services so you should find somewhere else to go" and hung up on me! Terrible monogramming and worse customer service!

Turnaround time is super fast The place is clean and organized The work he did was beautiful I needed 5 hats embroidered and they all came out great even though the hats had very thick fabric He assisted me with color choice and it was spot on. I highly recommend using them for your embroidery needs.

I've been to a couple of other needlepoint stores in Dallas, and let me tell you, they don't hold a…read morecandle to this one. Every single canvas here could have gone home with me and I'd have been thrilled. The collection is so fresh and contemporary, it actually made me want to start five projects at once. They don't have a ton of large-format canvases, but there are some. Personally, I just wrapped up a belt project that took me...wait for it...20 years. Yes, two decades. I like to think of it as slow stitching, not procrastination. After finally finishing, over the past 6 or so months, I searched and searched for my next project and am a little bummed I didn't find this shop sooner. Turns out they weren't on Yelp. I actually stumbled upon them on TikTok, and in true enabler fashion, I set them up on Yelp myself. I had already bought my next canvases online, so when I came in I only needed all the fun extras to get started. Alice, who helped me, was fantastic. She set me up with the perfect thread colors, a needle minder, needles, stretcher bars and pins, and even a stitch book. Basically, she made sure I had everything except the snacks to sustain me through my next marathon project. And get this, they have in store classes too (check the website)! I'm absolutely psyched to go, because I could use a few tips to shorten my average project timeline from 20 years to less than 10. This place is such a great find. Whether you're brand new and "needlepoint curious" or a long-hauler like me, stop here first. You'll walk out happy, inspired, and probably with way more goodies than you planned. This place was literally the highlight of my week!!!

It's over for me! I decided I'd stop in my first store today. I'd ordered the Gingher Stork Embroidery Scissors nearly two years ago when I first had the slightest inclination that I may want to dabble down this road. I'm now completely enthralled. This coming from a woman who is not impressed by anything, at all, ever. I'm ordering books, supplies, watching videos, listening to podcasts and gearing up to really take this on soon. I couldn't wait for a class to become available, I needed immediate satisfaction today and I knew that would come in the form of getting my hands on the goods. No time to wait on a delivery. I had two local shops in mind and did another google search and decided my first stop would be Saville. Who am I to rate a needlepoint shop?! I know nothing! But here we are, giving my unsolicited opinion is one of many strengths in life. I loved the warm, friendly, welcoming environment. I found my first project, and got set up with my canvas, threads, needle, stretcher boards and tacks. I'm eagerly awaiting a class to post because your girl has got to get this going. My bank account has no idea what's about to hit it. I've already called home to tell my mother she needs to quit her job and become a finisher so I don't have extended wait times on my projects. I'm comin' in hot! Even had the nerve to drop the word "stocking" to my bestie today. Only in my wildest dream will I be completing a stocking, this is the level of complete delulu I'm on. Very satisfied with my experience and very much looking to get started soon.

She doesn't have malabrigo, because she understands the value of her shop space; she's using it to curate the finest selection of fibers and yarn bases I have ever seen and cutting out the yarns you can find everywhere. She's also has the largest selection of BIPOC owned and dyed yarns I have ever seen, if you're looking to support that! Meredith was super nice and greeted me when I entered but didn't hover over me and let me look around. If you actually look at all of the yarns she's got, be prepared to spend at least an hour in the shop. I took tons of pictures so that you can see what I saw-- a very finely curated selection of superwash and non-superwash yarns, hand dyed and local yarns, as well as some of the finest that Europe has to offer. She even has CaMaRose Snefnug, which I had never seen in a shop before. It's all priced competitively and the whole shop is decorated beautifully in a rainbow of colors. Their website states that they are LGBTQ+ friendly, and I have no doubt it's true. Don't miss this one!

I was really pleased to get some Knitting for Olive in the US, since I don't like to pay international shipping for it online. They also carry Re:designed project bags, which I haven't ever seen sold anywhere in person before. I also bought some Manos Del Uruguay Fino. They have a nice selection of some of my favorite fancy fibers. The prices were on par with any other high end yarn store I've been to in my life.
