I guess it's clear this isn't a "card shop," it's a scalpers storefront. Don't go here looking for Lorcana--guessing the margins are too low. Except for their singles, which they sell for $2-4....crazy pricing for Lorcana. Anyways, i won't be back. Will have to continue my search for a card shop that's ethical and somewhat reasonable. --------- Edit in response to business reply: 1) i agree conversation could go a long way. But when your pricing on a brand new Pokémon set (which doesn't have a set market yet) is already 3x MSRP, what productive conversation can happen? It's just a straight up gouge. I'm not naive to expect to get everything at MSRP, but i think 3x markup 2 days post launch is unreasonable. 2) i did ask about Lorcana. I was told you "don't carry much" and "didn't have any right now." 3) you seem to be implying that you're aware prices are high and can then be negotiated lower. If that's how you want to do it that's your prerogative, just understand that's offputting for new customers. It's hard to want to establish a relationship and have a conversation when the first impression is being taken advantage of. And when your response to pricing questions is "well the hobby is thriving!" I don't think that's off base.

Instead of actually checking, he led me to a section that I already knew was incorrect. I went along with it briefly to give him the benefit of the doubt, but it quickly became clear he wasn't interested in helping. Without making any effort to search or verify, he simply said they didn't have the item. He then brought over another employee who immediately backed him up rather than attempting to locate the item or provide any real assistance. This was a stark contrast to my past experiences at the Orland Park location, where employees were helpful, looked items up on their computers, and were able to locate plenty of what I was searching for. Unfortunately, the lack of effort and professionalism at this location has cost them a long-time customer. I will not be returning.

I came in to make the return, pointing out the damage showing my receipt and the plush's original packaging and price tag, and offered either store credit or to replace it with the same plush or one of equal value. I was told no, and that they don't accept returns. Despite the fact all plush are sealed meaning I couldn't have examined it for damage til I purchased it, and they were the ones who had ordered the merchandise and sold it to me, meaning the blame is on the buyer not the consumer. I felt my money was wasted with my purchase as well as my time with my attempt to return it.

If i didn't know it was there I would have easily driven right past it. Walking in I was greeted and soon found an assortment of games new and old. It's mostly a gamers store with only a limited video game selection. Everything they have in store was neatly displayed on a shelf where you can touch the merchandise. I believe all the vintage games were in soft plastic sleeves and were clearly marked with the price. A few games were under glass which made it a tad difficult to see the prices. On the back wall is an assortment of cords, cables, and controllers. I did find someone and would recommend checking out Tyton games.
