The main problem was the food that was served. It started off really good with a salad containing mixed greens, apple slices, nuts, cheese..with a delicate dressing. Then came the main course, baked chicken with some kind of bread crumb topping that was over seasoned and very salty. To accompany the over seasoned chicken was some kind of au gratin potato creation which was savory and also very salty. The third item was what appeared to me to be overcooked broccoli again heavily seasoned with salt, pepper and some grated parm cheese. Three savory very salty items on a plate does not make for a fine meal. To me it seems the chef either has a diminished sense of taste or never checked to see what was going out on the floor. The other sad thing about this is that it was a mature crowd attending this event among which you often find people with health issues that need to limit sodium intake! If this had been a restaurant that I had visited for the first time, it would be the last. Other than the food we had a great time at the event.

The staff is exemplary ~ there is no other way to describe them. The rooms in the clubhouse can hold any number of people and each room is lovely, with beautiful views. I have found the food ~ delicious. They accommodate any special request to personalize your event. If given the opportunity ~ GO.

The same usual generic thing most mediums say "oh I'm picking up on an old man with heart and circulatory issues" or "Im picking up on someone with gerd" or "im picking up on someone that used to smoke". I dont know anyone like that. I did hospice, however, I did private nursing specifically for women with dementia. None of them previously smoked. All women. And none had gerd. No one she described was remotely close to anyone I knew or worked for that passed. The people I wanted to come through were all young (my husband & my son, and my best friend). She didn't pick up on any of them! And I know for a fact my husband and son would have come through. I asked about kids and she immediately asked me how old I am. (Which I saw another review on here that she asked for their age too.) And then immediately after hearing my age said 1 or none. She was very frank and rude about it. I'm 29, I'm not that old. I have since remarried since becoming a widow and currently in the process of having another child. I will admit however, she was able to see numbers that have followed me for decades. She said 8s, 1s,and 3s. 318 has followed me my entire life since i was a child, so I will admit, that was crazy. Everything else was pretty BS. Extremely disappointed. Today was the 7 year anniversary of my family passing away. And all I wanted was to hear from them. And instead I got conned. I do agree with others in these reviews that she should not list herself as a medium or even a psychic. She's definitely more of a life coach and just tells you what she thinks you want to hear.

This event is all about EVs. It's so cool that this exists. We're not quite ready to move to a new…read morevehicle, but we will need to at some point because after having a baby my current vehicle feels a bit small. And when that time comes, a EV is almost certainly what I'll be looking for. At this event, held in Oakbrook Terrace at the Chicago Automobile Trade Association headquarters, you can sign up to test drive EVs from various manufacturers. I hadn't been to it before so I wasn't sure what to expect. It's held outdoors. There were cars here from BMW, Volvo, GMC, Audi, Subaru, Kia, Hyundai, and probably manufacturers I'm missing. I tested a BMW, Audi, and Volvo--in part because much as I may want one, it's not very likely it'll be within my budget. But it will also give me some idea about what I might want in a car or whether I want to save money for 15 years to afford one. What I liked about this event is that I was able to do the driving with a co-driver from the company. When I was at the Chicago Aurora Show I did a test drive but the representative from the manufacturer did the driving. Here, I was in the cockpit and got to experience driving the car instead of just being a bystander with some facts about the vehicle thrown at me. One of the reps told me that he thinks car shoes will be obsolete within five years and instead smaller, more intimate events like this will replace them. There's a small fee of $5 to attend if you want to drive, but if you don't want to drive it's free. Passengers need to be aged 16 or older. They did say there would be food and drink, but I think that's just on the full days (Saturday and Sunday, and perhaps Friday) although you can bring your own refreshments. I'm glad I chose Thursday, because I was only able to get to the three cars--though luckily I don't know that I wanted to see any others. But that was on Thursday evening when there weren't a ton of people here. I'll bet it's packed on the weekend. The $5 feet is for a two hour time slot that you choose, but one might need to pay for a couple time slots to be able to maximize their visit. The only thing that might have made it better is if there were a few more cars here but that may have made it too crowded. Overall a great event with plenty of free parking.

My family arrived in town on August 6 through the 9th. We made the decision to stay at Caesars as…read morewe all had comp rooms and it was for a 40th birthday party celebration. They were very few affordable restaurants to dine at the hotel. A hotel that size offers very few affordable options . Especially for those in their 70's. We had to do a lot of walking just to get to the elevators and up to our rooms. Upon checking out, we found out that we were Not only charged for Wi-Fi, but we were also Charged a resort fee on a comp room. First of all, We had two people in each room. We had two rooms. One person per day utilized the Wi-Fi. The rest of us used the Wi-Fi on her phone. So the Wi-Fi should be free since only one person from each room utilized it. In all the years I have stayed at a Caesar's property, we have never paid a resort fee, ESPECIALLY On a room that is a comped room. That's like inviting guests for dinner, asking them to bring a dish, and then charging them for part of the meal on their way out. My sister and I both had 3 to 4 nights comped and casino play on our accounts. We mistakingly booked the rooms through our slot host and apparently forfeited our casino play. The rooms are not all that expensive to begin with so by charging people who don't use the pool, or the gym or the spa or any other resort services, is not fair. Charge those who use those amenities. We are there strictly to gamble so we pay dearly. They combined all of our cards and took all of the points we earned and deducted those from our account and then charged are credit card for the balance. We may as well have Just paid for our rooms with the amounts that they charged us for resort fees and Wi-Fi that was supposed to be free for up to two people. We had to get some of our guests to the airport and did not have time to wait in the very long line to dispute this bill. They will be hearing from me next week. Again, you should not invite guests to your hotel, comp their rooms and then charge them! It's just BAD CUSTOMER RELATIONS!
