a display of baguettes in a bakery

My first visit to the Palisade Park PB. Very nice store, everything super clean. There are seating area in the back. All sorts of bakery and confectionery goods were stocked up and beautifully displayed on tables and glass window wooden shelves. Associates were really friendly and our checkout was a breeze. We got the chocolate ganache cake and few bread items. All were fresh with amazing PB taste. Surely will be stopping by here more often when we are in Palisade Park.

Great location! Clean. Bountiful goodies. I discovered the sweet potato pastry recently. That's very good. Real sweet potato and generous filling. Plenty of seating in front, at the side and back of the stores. Outlets available for your electronics. Not sure about WiFi. Easy street parking in front of the business. It is metered, so check the time. You may or may not have to pay. Free parking on side streets. That requires searching.

This location has gotten an upgrade after what I believe is new management that took over. What used to be very "Korean" and unaccessible to people of other cultures has gotten a bit more Americanized (more English signs and descriptions) and is really nice to see a fellow Korean that loves to share her culture with others. The cases are always full with various bread and pastry options and the service is always hustling which is nice to see when you're looking to be in and out with your coffee and goodies. Coffee is always hot and fresh, and if you ask for milk, the manager (or owner) goes out of his way to top off your coffee with some warmed and frothed milk which is a very hospitable touch. There is very limited indoor seating options (about 3 tables) which is to be expected with COVID and no more trays but rather just boxes for you to take to go. Some of my favorite treats to grab from a Paris Baguette includes a sweet potato twist, glutenous rice ball with red bean, and a savory curry croquette. All breads range from $2-$4 and coffee options vary from hot to cold specialty options.

You can see how the cake and features are tilted and not exactly centered. There's also a nick by the right ear. But it still looks cute!

This is a great bakery. The prices are fair for the quality of the product you get: it's fresh, not too big that you'll have to keep leftovers in the fridge for a month, and looks really close to the picture they have online. Just keep in mind that they taste similar to artisan cakes so they're not nearly as sweet as the sheet cakes you get at grocery stores. I got the bear cake, which was a little over $30. The only issue I had was that it wasn't centered. The cake was circular and was not centered on the platform they put it on, so it was very noticeable. Additionally, the eyes/ears/nose on the cake was slightly off-center, and when added to the fact that the cake itself wasn't centered, you could tell something was "off" about it. It just didn't line up when you looked at it. Even with this, I would go back for another cake when I have a special occasion. The staff is friendly! Which is always a plus. Street parking is pretty good.

Coming to Paris baguette is my Saturday ritual. We usually get the chocolate croissant, we didn't see it so we got the drizzled chocolate croissant was a little let down by the lack of chocolate. The croissant was still good and fresh my boyfriend was just disappointed. We got milk ice coffee which we love. Workers here are always really nice.

My family has been coming here for years for their consistently, suspiciously delicious pastries. Every Sunday we roll in before the crowds and pick 5-7 of the same breads we get every week. Recently I've gotten into the habit of ordering their iced coffee which tastes like a milkshake. SO GOOD. We specifically come to this location to get it because the one next to Hmart stiffs you on the cream and sugar. I also have to say the staff is especially kind and hospitable and this location. Don't plan on skipping this tradition any time soon

Ganache cream cake slice and ice americano are perfect combo! If you are craving for something sweet or obsess with chocolate try this you will love it!

Expired food! I bought these Saturday (12/12) and these are best by 11/24/20.

Okay, so this was not my first time buying from this particular Paris Baguette. I've been here countless times to get breads, cakes, pastries, and popsicles. This time, last Saturday (12/12), we came back (had another visit the day before to get a cake) and got many pastries and got these two chocolate covered graham crackers from the checking out counter. Today I was grabbing these to give my family member and tearing up the plastic package then saw that these were best by 11/24/20. Not a day or two off, more than two weeks off. People, when you go there to buy anything, please check the expiration dates thoroughly. I would never have bought anything that said best buy "anytime before the present day". How frustrating! It is a franchise chain and they should have done a better quality control.

Mini fresh strawberry cream cake with rotting strawberries

I am so extremely disappointed with this mini fresh strawberry cake. I paid $30+ for this cake for my mom's birthday today and two of the strawberries were starting to rot and turned color... super upsetting because it was for her birthday and I noticed that I would recommend people open their cakes before taking them home

I been coming here for like 12 years and not sure what's happening with this establishment. my regular ice coffee was the worst I ever had and the place is just dirty.

The place looks neat even though it is not as spacious. They did make good use of the small space that they have. You can grab your tray with brown wax paper and head right to packaged pasties or singly made pastries that are on display. I usually get my loaf of bread here that are sliced. I love making egg toast in the morning using this fresh item. Every time I come, I try to but twisted sugar donut because I was a fan as a kid. The taste I remember from the 90's in my childhood is the same taste for the donut! I'm glad they're still the same.

I would say Service is pretty nonexistent as you order on the counter and you see yourself with no waitressing. The cashier lady was also pretty rude and not accomodating to my request (make my drinks less sweet) so they lose a store for that. Atmosphere is cute and vibes are great, definitely has modern and traditional Korean vibes. However, I would not say that this is like a traditional tea house? Having been to A LOT of tea houses in Korea, their menu and concept is definitely far from what a traditional teahouse is like. For instance, a traditional teahouse would have assorted rice, cakes and traditional, Korean desserts, however, I feel like this place used modern French pastries, and put a Korean twist on them, which I would say is not very Korean in reality. Baked goods were OK. It tasted stale. Losing a star for that as well.

On the second try, I ordered a potato Turkish bagel and asked for smoked salmon with it (which I saw they used in one of their sandwiches). What I got was a Turkish potato bagel (for which the potato part is invisible) and a whole other smoked salmon sandwich. No wonder my bill came out to $29?! The cashier understood I wanted a smoked salmon sandwich AND a bagel. So, lesson learned: a Turkish bagel is served and eaten differently than a traditional bagel, which would've come with the smoked salmon in the inside like a sandwich. Also ordered a biscotti latte. We ordered takeout for dinner: Toowoomba Shrimp Pasta with Tonkatsu and the Spicy Original Tteokbokki (rice cakes) with Fried Kim-ma-ri (fried seaweed rolls). The shrimp pasta had good flavor but the portion was way too tiny. After only three or four bites, it was gone. There were about 4 pieces of shrimp in the entire dish and they could've added more pasta, given that it's not an expensive ingredient. The tonkatsu was also underwhelming. It was a small piece served in a large container that made the portion size look even more skimpy. I was also disappointed in the tteokbokki. It was mostly sauce with no egg and only a few pieces of fish cake, again served in a container that was far too large for the amount of food provided. The kim-ma-ri pieces were fine but also very small. Overall, the meal was underwhelming. For a total cost of nearly $50, the quantities were just way too small.
