What a fun place! They take roasting seriously & do it on premise. Small, cute place with AMAZING coffee. And THE best croissants this side of Paris! Very friendly, informative staff (especially Edgar who is passionate about roasting to get outstanding flavor and quality!) Place is conveniently off of Rte 46 right before the GWB towards NYC. Make a stop in the morning!
Good spot for matcha! (Perfect color) Really hard to find a good spot for matcha that isn't just milk and a dash of matcha powder so glad I was able to find a good place. The wait was kinda long even tho they weren't that busy. I'd come back for another matcha but would recommend ordering ahead so you're not standing around waiting for 10 minutes. Cute interior.
My wife and I were heading into the city for a weekend outing and wanted to kick it off with a great cup of coffee. Roast'd certainly got the job done! First plus is the free parking. The shop itself is modern/rustic, with plenty of coffee laying around to let you know they mean business. The gentleman working behind the counter was very pleasant and walked me through the benefits of the pour over process with the various beans they have. I went with a medium/dark roast pour over and it was really good. I could taste the various flavor notes and my palate isn't usually that strong. My wife enjoyed an excellent latte. Prices are pretty reasonable for the quality. Final bonus is that you end up pointed right at the George Washington Bridge upon departure!

The other times I visited no specials were posted. I tried the Amazin' mocha. The name is fitting. Finally I had to try one of the "regular" coffees. They have about 8 to choose from light to dark roast and from different countries. I had the Legender, which is a medium-dark roast and according to the employee that helped me the most popular. You can have the coffee made from the espresso machine or as a pour over. I went for the pour over; it was my first time having a pour over from a coffee shop. I also bought a quarter pound of 3 different beans to try. Not exactly a place you'll go for pastries but I tried the blueberry crumb cake and it was good. There are a few stools to sit at but this defiantly seems more like a grab and go type coffee shop.
This is a gem! When you think that typical supermarket brand coffee - on sale - is about $8 a pound at a minimum you'll realize why paying a few dollars more a pound for fresh roasted coffee beans is the way to go. And if you think about what you pay for a premade cup at a chain it's a no brainer. The coffee here is out of sight. We have a small cuisinart grinder and it takes us seriously 45 seconds more to pour in some beans and whir them up. Then it's no more trouble than regular canned grinds. But the flavor! Outrageously good!!! And every week there is a different selection of light, medium and dark roasts. If you want you come in for fresh brewed coffee or tea and you can nosh on the baked goods sold there too. I highly recommend trying the coffee here if you're a fan. I'm so excited this store is in the neighborhood.
Love this cute little cafe! My go to is the Ethiopian drip coffee. They have opened new location in Newport, Jersey city. Super friendly people.
the ONLY place im going from now on for a quality latte. The taste is incredibly smooth, Zero bitterness, and perfect temp. The staff was so friendly and answered all of our questions. Ive never guzzled a latte so fast due to how smooth it was. Pastries were also so good and paired perfectly with the coffee. I highly recommend. Ive been to so many coffee shops in bergen county and these people care a lot about the quality of coffee they are serving.
Cute coffee shop right by the highway. There's outdoor seating and they roast their own beans as well. Friendly customer service and they're dog friendly! Indoors, there are some counter seats by the window. Variety of coffee and tea and a small selection of pastries. Ordered a flavored latte and a chai latte. Chai latte was on the milkier side and I wish there was a stronger tea flavor but it was nicely spiced! Their latte was very smooth. Reasonable prices and a great coffee spot!
Visited on the 1st day of 2024. While everyone was still asleep, my bestie took me out for coffee dates. This place is right next to the highway, you will be easily missed. I need something dark, not sour, fruity - Legender!Strong and fresh to wake me up - a brand new day. Grab 4 samples for my friends in GA. Per his feedback, beans were little burnt. He can still use it for espresso. Probably next time I should get un-roasted beans for him instead.
Stopped in on the way to another location and I will say in the morning, getting to this location can be challenging. Driveway is right before a turn off and if you miss it, not easy to get back to. Quaint coffee shop, only standing room so no sitting with a laptop to work here. Only one other person in line when we arrived, and the service was excellent. I got a standard pour over coffee and fun to watch them make it. If you have a chance to swing in, I'd recommend.
Another owner served well-roasted coffee at Fort Lee. It's better than NYC coffee place and I can feel the owners' enthusiastic passion for coffee. Great aroma, friendly service, and good vibes.
Pulled off the road, looking for caffeine, and stumbled across this amazing coffee roaster and espresso puller. The espresso is rich and creamy, with a beautiful crema and full rounded cocoa profile, perfectly balanced. Macchiato done right!

Searching high and low for pour-overs, I've noticed most coffee shops no longer offer them. Most coffee cafes focus on espressos because that's where the money is, so finding a place that does pour-overs is getting harder as they barely exist. Imagine our delight when we found this place on Yelp. This is huge for coffee lovers. Most of their beans are single-origin, and while some may be a little nervous that it's next to a gas station, rest assured, it will be one of the best coffees you will ever enjoy. Bold statement, but a true statement. Seating is very limited. One side has four seats at a long bench table, while the other side offers two seats. There was also a table with a few chairs outside. This place has espresso drinks, coffee, a limited tea selection (tea bags, not loose leaf), banana bread, croissants, and other various baked items. We had a buttery croissant and banana bread -- both were heated up and outstanding!! The coffee beans are roasted in-house, and they also offer coffee on tap. It turns out they have several locations, and they all roast their own beans on-site. You can also purchase beans to grind at home, should you choose. Parking is tight but free. They do have a bathroom if you need to use it, and the baristas who work there are all experts at making coffee. They are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and are great to chat with about their beans when the place is at a rare slow time. They are dedicated to their craft. Anytime we are nearby, this will be the only place we will be stopping for a supreme cup of java. My biggest regret: not purchasing a bag to take home. The Roast'd Legender is calling out to me. read more

I am on a mission to try as many coffee spots in my area and this little jam came up in my search. The location is a bit off the beaten path and unless you know about it - not easy to find. There is some parking up front. What stood out most was the giant coffee roaster in the middle of the store. They roast their own coffee and have a very robust menu to choose from. Specialty coffees are available by origin and preparation. Another thing that stood out was how nice everyone was. Those who came on seemed to be regulars and the baristas knew their names and orders. Everyone was very nice and eager to answer questions about the menu and neighborhood. The place is rather small with a tiny sitting area. While there is room to sit and a Wi-Fi password, and some people came in a stayed to have a conversation over a cup of joe, the sitting area is tight and it would be difficult to work there for the day. In my mind, the place is for the coffee lover who likes to grab and go. I had a latte with regular milk but for next time will properly venture out and try something new. If you like your coffee and curious about the coffee making process, this spot is a great stop to add to your coffee drinking routine. read more

Tucked away next to a gas station, I would never have known to come here if not for Yelp. The parking lot is basically a hill right off the highway so it's a bit nerve racking getting there. Not too many places to sit, and not much to look at out the window so keep this in mind. The barista was super friendly and helpful and I ordered beans, which are a new favorite, and the last croissant and an americano. He offered to heat up my croissant which I appreciated. It's also nice to know that the beans are roasted in each location, so I'm eager to try their other locations! read more

What a wonderful coffee shop for true coffee lovers! All beans are roasted in-house, and every cup of drip coffee is made to order. They offer a wide variety of selections, from light to medium to dark roasts, with beans sourced from all over the world. If you're not a die-hard coffee enthusiast and prefer something more flavorful, they've got plenty of fun, flavored options for you as well. One of my favorite treats here is their croissants--they taste absolutely amazing, especially when freshly made. The staff is always very pleasant and takes the time to go through the menu, sharing their knowledge and answering any questions. Given their extensive selection, this is a big plus! There's also a cozy little spot by the window if you're looking to get some work done. Highly recommend stopping by! read more

Now I can order a cortado from Fort Lee !!!! Sooooooo hard to find a place that makes a cortado, and a decent one !!!! No indoor seating these days, so we were forced to redirect to other places many times - since many of my friends were craving a sit-down!!!! So, I finally get to have a cortado !!!! Having the roaster machine makes this place more credible, and I purchased the Mungo, Tanzania one which I am loving very much. We had a cortado, a latte, and an ice americano, and while we were waiting for our order, many were visiting for online pick ups. My cortado was good, but I wished the crema would be thicker (in taste), and more intense. Still leaves me a mission to find a place in Bergen County ~ read more

I can definitely tell why this place has five-star reviews. I wanted some really good coffee, so I looked at Yelp and we decided to come here and I was more than pleased with my experience. I will say, this place is kind of hidden on the road, so it may be easy to miss (it took us two times to be able to find it), but do not miss out on it because it truly has some of the best coffee. The store itself is extremely small, and Roast'd is truly a coffee specialty place. They have several different roasts you can choose from. I ordered the iced americano which is actually only available with one roast, but if you get the pour down, you can choose from dark to light roast with many different options. You can also see the coffee being poured so that's also an interesting experience. We got our coffee pretty quickly, and the iced americano absolutely slapped. I was pretty tired from the night before, but it woke me up instantly and the coffee tasted amazing! It was a dark roast and tasted just how I like it - not too burnt but an amazing flavor. I would say this place has the best coffee in Fort Lee, and I come to NJ once every year or every other year, so I definitely will want to come back when I visit NJ! read more

What a cool spot for coffee! My husband and I were glad we took a chance and tried a new cafe otherwise we wouldnt have known about this place. Spot is convenient having their own parking space since Fort Lee could be such a busy town. Once we went it we were so amazed with the decor. Inside was pretty cool and cohesive. We were in awe with their huge roasting machine and their tap coffee. For the drinks, i ordered the Mocha latte as i got suckered by the definition on the menu saying "Belgian chocolate" lol it was good! My husband had an Iced latte and we both enjoyed that. Coffee was robust, rich and creamy all at the same time! Would love to be back! read more

I can't say enough great things about this place. I've only been here twice but honestly they have some of the best coffee I've ever had! The staff is so kind and I always trust their recommendations. The Sidamo black is one of my favorites and I find myself thinking about this place when I'm having my "normal" coffee (unfortunately I live a bit far but always willing to make the trip in on the weekends). I love that the coffee is freshly poured every time and it's always so interesting to watch the effort and care that go into it. I've had the chance to try the croissant freshly out the oven and they were so flaky and delicious! There's usually a crowd here but makes sense considering how great this place is - definitely recommend. read more
Best coffee in NJ. They buy their own raw beans, do their own roasting, and, of course, grinding. A real gem, selling coffee by the cup, bag and wholesale. And the coffee shop food is also wonderful; the cookies, croissant, and avocado toast - superior versions. My personal favorite is the Coconut Nitro. But so many fine coffees to try! read more

The reviews here did not disappoint. Thank you! I finally checked this cafe out and while they don't have ample pastry assortments, this is the best oat milk hazelnut latte I had. It had a hint of coconut in it for some reason - or the barista worked his magic on it lol. It made my day. I like that they do pour overs there, too, and the roaster in the shop does suggest they roast their coffee beans fresh. It off the highway so you might have to face some traffic getting there -- I wished they were on Main Street! Despite the location, if I want to treat myself to a really good coffee, I'd definitely come back here. P.s. parking available which was awesome! read more

You can smell the coffee as soon as you park your car outside. One of the few coffee shops round that you can actually see the coffee beans getting roasted. Your coffee is freshly grounded then brewed in front of you. 4 stars for the fresh brewed coffee and friendly service. If you are getting a "hot" drink, ask them for steamed milk because they use cold milk in your hot coffee resulting in warm (works if you are in a rush and like it warm) You can feel free to sit outside in the 2 tables with 2 seats but the view is of 46 so it isn't exactly a sit down date spot but it's a nice pit stop! read more

Anytime I am in fort lee, I always stop by this amazing coffee shop! They have a great variety of coffees, teas and food items! I always get their iced silk coffee with oat milk and this time, I treated myself to their amazingly delicious Avocado Toast! The best area for sure! read more
