Similar layout to the Paris Baguette in Ramsey, NJ, this is a rather newly opened location in Edgewater. On a Saturday afternoon, they had a decent mix of customers and the usual selection of pastries, drinks and sandwiches, though some had sold out. Service was nice too. This was the most seating I've seen in a PB since they also had outdoor seating with nice views of the water when the weather is good. The parking can be a pain even though it's a shared shopping plaza but if you're willing to walk a little you should be able to find a spot. In the Plaza are Trader Joe's, several restaurants, a nail place, pet place, Orangetheory, etc.

My boyfriend in front of Paris Baguette in Edgewater NJ. Looks are deceiving it's gorgeous inside!

My boyfriend and I have visited this Paris Baguette a couple of times now with very different experiences. On a holiday weekend, we got great service and spent over $65 between the both of us. Fresh pastries, great drinks, amazing sandwiches. However, our weekday visit told a completely different story. PARKING The parking lot is always packed, but it's a large enough lot with space to take some steps if necessary. ATMOSPHERE From the outside, this place looks rinky dinky, but the inside is mesmerizing. The inside can get quite noisy, almost as if it echoes due to the high ceilings. The outside is lovely Everyone's respectful of their volume outside on the waterfront, and sitting outside took the cake! SERVICE This is where my experience gets mixed. On the holiday weekend, everyone was super efficient and fast. My iced drink was great, and the sandwiches were amazing. The excellent service was from Priti S, who went ABOVE and beyond for my boyfriend and I! On a weekday, the workers looked lost and overwhelmed. This place is always busy it seems, and they had a hard time managing the flow around 11am. The service I received from Jennifer H was disappointing, though she gave my boyfriend excellent service. He even got a very nice strawberry matcha latte that was better than the weekend one. My boyfriend and I decided to pay separately, and I was trying to remember to mention my drink order precisely because I'm allergic to whole milk. My boyfriend walked up with me to the cashier, and I said "don't mind him, we're paying separately," then turned to him and apologized for not wording it better. Jennifer H misinterpreted this interaction and treated me poorly afterward. I get it, he's handsome. I'm amazingly lucky! But that doesn't excuse behavior or poor service by taking things out of context and judging me based on a small interaction. She mixed up my sandwich order. I handed her a Caprese Baguette but was charged for a chicken Caesar baguette. My boyfriend was confused because he knows I don't eat meat as my first meal of the day, and he witnessed my sandwich being given to another customer. When I asked to have my sandwich heated, she put my sandwich in a paper bag after it was done while his went in a box after his was heated. She practically threw mine onto the dirty counter top with no tray. My boyfriend was furious and got me my own tray because she assembled his to leave my stuff out. When she eventually made my order right, she put it in another paper bag with the same dismissive attitude. She also pulled out her phone to text in front of customers, which seems unprofessional. My boyfriend received excellent service from Jennifer H while I was treated poorly, which was particularly frustrating given that we were both customers deserving equal respect. The sandwiches really need to be labeled since the Caprese and chicken Caesar baguettes are on different shelves and look completely different. OVERALL This Paris Baguette has great potential and a beautiful waterfront location. Priti S provided exceptional service that shows what this establishment can be at its best. However, consistency in service seems to be an issue. I get overwhelmed easily in busy environments and sometimes struggle with communication, and I'm working to get better 1% every day. Everyone deserves the same level of service regardless. Service ultimately comes down to establishments putting the right people in place as well. I hope the management addresses these service inconsistencies so all customers can enjoy the wonderful food and atmosphere this place has to offer. I also don't want to attack Jennifer H. Maybe she was having an off day or maybe she was new. Maybe I read it wrong, but even my boyfriend was put off by her behavior and told me I should write a review.

SO excited that this opened! Great open, clean space and friendly service. I came and found exactly what I expected (from past experiences at their other locations around NY and NJ), and it did not disappoint. I am so excited to have a bakery close by, and the ability to grab one of their sandwiches to go. YAY!!!

WOW!! What a great addition to Edgewater! This storefront must be the largest and the nicest Paris Baguette I have been to in NJ and NYC! It's conveniently located in a strip mall including Trader Joe's and a variety of restaurants. It's right by the Hudson River. What an amazing view it has of the NYC skyline! Imagine sipping your favorite drink and enjoying some yummy treats sitting outdoor especially when it's nice out! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seatings throughout the store. Loved how you can see the process of cakes being made through a glass window from the outside! Lots of bakery goods, sandwiches, drinks and of course cakes! Staff were super friendly. It opens early at 6am! Plenty of free parking in front. Don't forget to sign up as a member to earn points! I redeemed my reward today for BOGO butter croissant. Yum!!

I really enjoyed my almond croissant. There was both indoor and outdoor seating and the outdoor seating had great NYC skyline views. This is a must stop for a quick snack and coffee break.

First time here was very impressed. Very spotless employees constantly cleaning & restocking amazing desserts. Had little seating area outside on the river to which was very nice.... Loooooove the peach iced tea....

We figured while we were grabbing the gift card we just had to try a cookie too. When we arrived, there's a couple steps you go down to get into the store. We went in about 10am on a Saturday, and there was about two people ahead of us. We were helped within minutes, and I ordered the Two Chip Chocolate Chip Cookie, while my partner got the Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookie. I believe each cookie ran a little more than $5/cookie. We threw the cookies in my backpack, got lost going to Trader Joes, and then went back to the hotel (a 40 minute journey) and to our surprise - the cookies were still warm even though it was raining outside! My partner and I demolished those cookies within seconds. They were warm, slightly crispy on the edges, so many chocolate chips inside and chewy in the middle. If I could describe the perfect cookie this would be it. I imagine this would be delightful with a cold glass of milk. I also noticed several people at JFK with Levain bags, so I'm guessing it's common to stock up and bring home. Now, I'm trying to convince my partner to go to the location in Beverly Hills when we're in the area.

This is end of day food, or prior day's left-over food from stores and restaurants. The items were supposed to be a value of $15, but the items in the bag were not that value, nor were they in-house baked goods. They gave me 2 stale cut up baguettes, which they normally don't even sell, nor are they on their menu. According to the counter staff person, they order them from somewhere else so they can sell them on the weekends. (So they were baked Friday?) The counter staff person said her boss packed the TGTG bag and there was nothing she could do. I question these baguettes: which kitchen were they cooked in? Someone's home kitchen? I've never seen baguettes sold or baked in Reb's store, only desserts. In fact, this is what Barachou advertises: "Handcrafted choux à la crème, tarts, and viennoiseries -- all made fresh daily." Anyway, what I got were 2 stale baguettes which were cut in half so as to fit in the bag and one croissant (that's fine). The baguettes are inedible, and they can't be price verified because they are not even on their menu. If they're going to advertise on TGTG, then they need to honor the intent of the app, and provide the stated value of yesterday's leftover OR extra dessert items. This was bait and switch. Bait & switch means you advertise one deal (ie "$15 value") but replace it with a much cheaper deal. TGTG customers know they are getting day old or end of day items, valued as such. But they should not be shortchanged and given $5-$8 values that are advertised as $15 or $18. The bag should have had something like a cookie and 2 almond croissants or 3 specialized croissants. Even more disappointing as I have shopped here often especially when she was first starting out during the pandemic. Sorry Reb, but you lost me as a loyal customer. ***editing to respond to owner: I've never had a TGTG restaurant regift another restaurant's goods yet claim they are baked fresh in store. I've also never gotten baguettes that are already cut up for me. Do they do it that way in France? Also does Bread's bakery know that you probably buy their baguettes three for $5 special and then probably resell them at your store? Or do they deliver direct to you as one of their vendors? Just curious.

So fun fact they are now advertising Banana Pudding Hot Chocolate and it is NOT actual hot chocolate but banana pudding made to taste like hot chocolate. Why I got so confused? I don't know! Maybe I have been watching too many videos about Tyra Banks Hot Ice Cream. Either way I appreciate the guys patience and kindness when explaining it to me twice especially because I did not end up ordering that at all (though it sounds interesting) but I did get the regular actual hot chocolate and it was amazing! It tasted like melted marshmallows were in it! Perfect for a cold winter day. In addition we got to the humming bird cake, a cupcake, and the regular banana pudding. My husband had never been here before so you know we had to get the banana pudding, it's their claim to fame. And it is decent. Growing up in North Carolina banana pudding is taken very seriously and is literally at every gathering. Would this be a contender for the cookout? Sure! I have no complaints about. The other baked items were delicious as well. The store is cute unfortunately this location has no indoor seating but plenty of outdoor. It was like negative degrees when we went so we definitely did not sit outside. All and all it's a cute bakery/ sweets shop. There are many locations through out the city. Another employee, Kirk--an older gentleman who looked completely out of place--approached and coughed directly over the slice of cake that had just been cut for me. Yes. Over it. She handled the situation professionally and deserves recognition. Unfortunately, the chaos continued. Kirk later made me a hot cocoa, and when I went to drink it, it spilled on me because the lid wasn't secured properly. At that point, I stopped believing in coincidences. And the cake? The German chocolate cake was terrible--dry AF and nothing like the Grand Central location. Not even remotely close. Between the coughing, the spill, and the subpar cake, this visit was uncomfortable, messy, and disappointing. Magnolia should seriously reconsider who they put on the floor and retrain accordingly--because this location is not living up to the brand. But honestly, I believe the 2 guys had to be the owners.
