Had a late night cake craving so we door dashed a few pieces from here... and I was somewhat disappointed. The packaging was pristine and very pretty. What we ordered: -Rainbow cake: 4/5, this one was very interesting and we really enjoyed it. It had a fruit essence to it (versus vanilla cake dyed rainbow colors) paired with a very sweet frosting. -Nutella cake: 4/5, cake was soft and fluffy with great Nutella whipped frosting and thick Nutella between the layers. -NY cheesecake: 0/5, it tasted kind of spoiled? -Chocolate ganache cake: 3/5, it was very underwhelming, the crunchy pearls in it gave it a weird texture when you bit those with the soft cake. But the bench outlets don't work unless you use the ones straight from the wall. Unfortunately, the experience with the staff was underwhelming. The cashier was not trained well and no one to supervise. When asked questions about the coffee, he was giving more confused than I was. And it was a simple "can you add hazelnut to the coffee, or whats different about the korean coffee?" Not knowledgeable about the products, asking "do you know what that is?" for every item on my platter. Overall, the experience was fast to the point that I didnt even finish paying before my coffee was served. Food delicious. Vibes are good. Grabbed a few cake slices for a birthday and they were amazing. We got slices of the chocolate chiffon and the rainbow cake which are both delicious in their own way. The chocolate cake wasn't too rich but still satisfies your sweet tooth. The rainbow cake is the star though. The infused fruit flavor they add in is nothing like I've had before. The frosting on both was very light almost like whipped cream and the cake was light and moist like you would find with Asian bakeries. The cakes are pricey but worth the splurge! read more

It's similar to Tous Les Jours down the street, as they're both Korean French-inspired bakery franchises. I enjoyed their cookie butter iced lattes but learned that it was a seasonal drink. It had the perfect color and great taste. Their pastries are okay, not too sweet but they are a bit pricey. I can inhale every single pastry in this bakery cafe. Everything is so good, so fresh, the donuts are light and fluffy. The twisted donut is just a must try and is a staple to have. They have lots of variety from tarts, donuts, bread, cakes, to small cookies. This place is also a cafe and have great coffee and smoothies. You take a tray and parchment paper and you get to walk around and choose your own pastries with a pair of tongs. I personally recommend the strawberry croissant, the twisted donut, and the mochi donuts. Their mochi donuts are super fresh and chewy! I like these mochi donuts a lot more than other places. This place is super spacious and is beautifully decorated. A very aesthetic cafe with a peaceful ambiance and a great place to relax and have a great cup of coffee and croissant. The food here is good, its god a self serve area where you grab a tray and pull different items you want as you go around each case. They have A LOT of choices. The Paris Baguette in London i will say was better, and our favorite item the onion and cheese pastry was not at the Quincy location which was a bummer. While the items were good, the service was pretty terrible. As a first time into the place there was zero direction on what to do. When we figured it out by watching others and finally got to the front, we had gotten a good amount for a party we were hosting and they refused to give us a bag to hold everything in and then oddly ignored me when i was trying to ask about the other refrigerated item i had ordered. When you first walk in, on your left you see these cases of beautifully displayed pastries and savory items and there are A LOT of choices! You pick up a tray and your own pair of tongs and you get to go and pick what you want. As a more savory kind of girl, I enjoyed trying their curry coquette and smoked sausage bread (especially make sure you ask for them heated up at checkout!). For the sweets, I had to go for the classic chocolate croissant and the sweet rice donut as this chain is South Korean based. Everything was great and flavorful and there were still so many other options to try. The staff were also very friendly as well and I was able to check out quickly. Super excited that Paris Baguette has finally made its way to Quincy! This is their second location in Massachusetts and it has been long awaited. Now I don't have to trek all the way to Cambridge. It's located in The Abby apartment complex. In terms of parking, a tip is to either park in the NQ Garage (which is a short walk away from the Paris Baguette) or the Abby or Target parking lot. The bakery itself has a modern vibe. It's clean and much larger than I expected. There's an ample amount of seating with tables and everything is brightly lit. Paris Baguette has a self-serve layout for all their pastries except for their cake slices. There are tons of delicious options that are Asian-inspired since the chain is a South Korean chain. There's everything from your typical berry pastries to cronuts, curry buns, and even sandwiches/salads. The pastries are a bit expensive though, but you can tell everything is freshly made and the quality is great. They also sell drinks such as coffee. I got 2 Coffee Cronuts (a must try!), a Crab Meat Croquette, a Raspberry Pastry Bite, and a Mocha Cake slice. This ended up being about $25 which is a bit pricy but everything was really tasty. The Coffee Cronuts were so flakey and buttery and were filled with a really tasty coffee-flavored cream. The cronuts were a little too sweet for my liking, but still really delicious and fresh. The Crab Meat Croquette had a decent amount of Crab Meat and was filled with some veggies, such as corn. I would recommend getting this heated up or heating it at home by slightly toasting/baking it. The croquette is amazing when warm and crispy. I added some Japanese mayo to it and it elevated the taste. The Raspberry Pastry Bite... was the size of 3 bites. it was small but priced a little too high at $3. The pastry was also very buttery and flakey. The cream was not too sweet and the berries were fresh. I haven't tried the cake slice yet, but it's super cute with a little festive gingerbread man topping. The staff is very friendly and the checkout process was efficient. I'll be coming back soon to try their drinks, but perhaps not get many pastries since they're a bit pricy. They're still in their soft-opening stage, so I'll get some pastries when they fully open since it seemed like some pastries were not available yet. Well, well, well, a respectable performance indeed! Not as mind-blowing as SALT Patisserie or the venerated Tatte, but I also have no substantial complaints or issues. They have a wide selection of baked goods (some sweet, some savory). The cafe is [mostly] self-service: you grab a tray and tongs, take what you like, and proceed to checkout. Coffee can be ordered at the register. I had the opportunity to try a sugar mochi donut, a chocolate croissant, and a caramel macchiato. The chocolate croissant was light, airy, and fresh. It had good flakiness, but didn't quite have that slight crispness that I so love in a great croissant. I also would have loved more chocolate filling than a golf pencil. The sugar mochi donut was great. It had a pleasant flavor and texture, and wasn't overly sweet. On the flip side, and please take this with a large grain of salt, I think it had a bit of a taste that can only be described as "old fat". Kind of like Dunkin' Donuts donuts have, some of which are made offsite and then sent/shipped to locations. Alas, when it comes to mochi donuts, Pon de Joy has spoiled me rotten! If not for them, I would happily devour three of these things without a care in the world. The caramel macchiato was similarly solid. The coffee flavors were not overly pronounced, however, I understand this kind of beverage is designed to somewhat mask them. The amount of caramel was dead on - enough to add a lovely sweetness and flavor, but not so much as to coat the inside of my mouth and/or overload my tastebuds. In terms of price, while not the cheapest place around, I think the value is fair for fresh baked pastries, and goodies. The vibe inside is pleasant. There is ample seating and outlets for charging. The cafe was also very clean. Finally, the service was polite, and reasonably fast. There were three cashiers working the registers, so the line kept moving. Thus, while I don't believe Paris Baguette is a destination, it is a fine place to grab something baked with something caffeinated if you are more or less in the area. read more

One of the best pastries finally arrived in Quincy and I was excited to come here to get my favorite pastries . One of my all time favorite here was the soft cheesecake , the sweet potatoes pastry with black sesame seeds, and the cherry and Greek yogurt danish . Can't go wrong with those pastries . Always good and craving for it with coffee or tea. Parking can be tough here since you have to park behind Target . That's the bad part about this location . read more

There are limited pastries since most items are sold out but their cakes are better than Tous Les Jours. I definitely will come back again in the morning. Sweet little treats! We absolutely love Paris Baguette, and we're so excited they finally opened in Quincy earlier this year. The bakery items are delicious--some of the highest quality we've had. We've been back several times, and the cakes are perfect--not too sweet, which is exactly how we like them. Excited that I finally got to try this location and don't have to travel all the way to Cambridge anymore. Parking can be slightly confusing but if you park towards the back part of the Target parking lot you can easily walk to the entrance. Walking in, i noticed there were some empty spaces in the cases but employees were coming out to refill the cases with pastries. I tried to get a good mix of sweet and savory items and most of the items didn't disappoint. The decoration on the cakes are super cute and make you not want to eat it! I also ordered a latte to eat with my pastries. I got the snowman donut and strawberry cake. The donut itself was very soft with a slight crunch from the layer of coating for the snowman design. I took a star off because the strawberry cake was a bit on the drier side. The cake was not overly sweet which I enjoyed. I like that they have a few tables for you to sit and eat at and it didn't seem like they rush you out of the place either. I have been meaning to stop by this place since it open but the busy street , heavy traffic, and parking issue is a challenge. It is located across the street from the high school and walking distance to the public transportation so it's great for foot traffic. The place is fairly new so it's still very clean and fresh looking. A great place to meet clients or have a small meeting with coffee and pastries. When I was there it wasn't busy so I can't comment on how they handle volumes. The server was nice and the transaction went smoothly as expected. Would I come back? There's parking essentially next door in the Target/Abby parking lot, although there's a little bit of a walk between that and the bakery. The bakery itself is in a large space, with lots of seating, bathrooms, and an open layout. Although the pastries are a bit expensive, there are a lot of options. Croissants, doughnuts, tarts, curry buns, danishes sit alongside bread and baguettes. There's also a selection of lunch sandwiches, salads, and breakfast sandwiches. They serve coffee drinks, tea, and smoothies. They also serve various cakes whole or by the slice. Everything is a tiny bit pricey, but a lot of it is really good. I especially like the chicken salad and egg salad sandwiches, the cheese danishes, and the seasonal doughnuts. The staff are all very nice, although the bakery is still in its soft opening, so you can tell they are being trained up on how things work. This is a great addition to the area! read more
