Croissants were the star of the show really good. My quiche pastry was ok not great. The viral fruit just wasn't my thing. Was excited about the coffee which was not good even with the extra shot of espresso. The server kept taking customers orders and filling them before completing our order which made the wait time longer. Paris Bakery was proudly pink and impressive with its oversized pastries. I was overwhelmed by the generous collection of baked goods on display. Interestingly, the quiches were arranged on the counter without any casing, yet they still looked divine. Because many of the pastries were wide and tall, the boxes could not securely contain them. I would reconsider how orders are assembled since my box arrived partially open. The quiches could be reheated, although I wished they had been a bit toastier. *Strawberry Croissant: had a vibrant red exterior. The croissant itself was flaky and filled with strawberry cream and jam. It was my favorite item from my order. The strawberry flavor was intense and the thick cream helped balance the sweetness. The ratio of pastry to filling was ideal. *Raspberry Croissant: heavier on fruit rather than cream, which I preferred. The fresh raspberry on top was naturally sweet and the jam had a pleasant tartness that made it feel more balanced. *Passionfruit Croissant: looked more impressive than it tasted. It was less filled than the others, so it resembled a classic croissant with a single layer of thick cream. The cream was extremely dense and did not blend well with the pastry. The flavor did not resemble passionfruit and came across as overly sweet and floral. I was unable to finish it. *Mushroom Quiche: the mushrooms were cooked well, but the egg filling was under seasoned. The filling was not completely set and had a drippy consistency. I wished more onions had been mixed into the eggs. The crust was tasty and buttery, but it could not save the mediocre filling. *Rose Latte: fragrant drink with strong rose notes from the petals on top. It was not overly milky and the floral flavors came through nicely. *Fruit Tart: had a mixed berry topping over vanilla cream with a shortcake base. The shortcake was buttery and dense. The cream was again the least impressive component. The berries were sweet and plump, but the shortcake was substantial on its own. I would have preferred a fruit based filling rather than cream. Overall, I would stick to the berry items since they seemed the most balanced. The cream was not to my taste due to its chalky consistency and pasty mouthfeel. What a wonderful selection of pastries and desserts! We took home two savory treats for breakfast, the mushroom and the ham and cheese with a runny egg on top. It heated up perfectly in the oven in 5 minutes. We also indulged in a blueberry pastry and the chocolate croissant. The croissant was especially buttery and rich. I have so many friends from Harrisburg and Philadelphia always telling me how I am absolutely crazy for moving north of Selinsgrove... and then I discovered and found my place in Lewisburg. The only thing that would have made that near perfect was somewhere like Parc of Philadelphia where I could get fresh bakery bread in addition to a macaron and a perfect cappuccino. And then... just like that, Paris Bakery arrived. For those further north of the Susquehanna, it's a bit on the order of Matern's Flower Cafe in Kingston, though I'm thrilled the owner (trained in France and Indonesia) has considered somewhere more Central right in downtown Lewisburg... especially as its open on weekends. The croissants are fabulous, even better than my Harrisburg Market days when I longed for fresh ones from Raising the Bar. These aren't just butter or pain de chocolate, but fruit filled and there's even an edible gold one. They also have their own... fresh hot and iced espresso bar with non dairy milk options. Even my church meets here sometimes for Bible Study! Oh, and there's a Shakespeare Rd nearby up the road! It's definitely about perspective and style. This place is trash. I ordered on the link in THEIR Google page a day in advance so my dad would wake up to fresh pasteries for Father's Day. I live hours away and he works 24 hour shifts. An hour and a half after they were supposed to deliver they refused the order saying they don't take online orders anymore. They had all the products and had already been paid but continues to refuse. They were extremely rude to the driver and said they weren't doing online orders anymore. The professional thing to do would be remove the links from their websites and continue with the order until they had removed the ability to order online rather than accept orders days in advance to refuse them day of. Because of them my father who was expecting breakfast at his door woke up to nothing. They don't answer their phone and don't have a way to leave a msg. The service was sufficient, though not overly friendly, likely due to their closing time quickly approaching. The macarons were just OK. I didn't think they were as good as the ones I get at Sam's Club. They weren't bad, but they were very overpriced given that they didn't seem fresh. I've never before had a stale macaron, so if I had to ascribe an adjective, that would be it - stale. This place was eye catching from the store front and even more adorable inside. The lady was very informative on all their bakery items, they even had fresh ones come out as we stood there. Truly absurd service, or just a complete lack of service. Was super excited to try this place. Walked in with my family the girl working looked right at us rolled her eyes and went back to staring at her phone with her air buds in. Waited around to make a purchase and she just sat there refusing to work. Super awkward and super unprofessional. After a few minutes of the employee making it clear she had no intention of working we just left. This establishment needs to hire people that actually know they are getting paid to work.
