There is a campground/RV park in behind the bar and General Store. Very clean and well maintained. I've stayed there a couple of nights in the past. I've been told that on Tuesday's they have an amazing steak dinner. I've never been there for that, but I'm looking forward very much to trying it soon. The owner Mary was very accommodating to our family and always very warm and welcoming when we stopped in the store. All the campers were the same. We were tent camping but Mary let us set up in front of a rental camper so we could use the electric to charge to boat and she was even gave us access to the camper to use the restroom and wash our dishes. She ever notified us that a neighboring camper was putting their camper up for sale and was just what we were looking for. We are now considering buying the camper and having a place up there of our own.

The highlight of the experience was the music and camaraderie with Johnny Cash's nephew, Mark Alan Cash. We could sit there and listen to him all day. We loved listening to the stories from his personal experiences with his uncle. If we ever get the chance to come back through here, we definitely will.
