Go sofi this is strength Training

This facility is a great place to bring your kiddos to realize energy, work out and of course to get better as an athlete!! They work with kiddos as young as 7 I need to bring my Lil one here ASAP and all the up to high schoolers. The trainers here are great they keep the kids accountable and they correct them, is hard to find good trainers not everyone can train and This spot has great trainers ! They keep communication with the parents about how they are improving or what they need to work on. My kids love it! Hope they get a bigger facility tho.

My son has been attending Parisi classes now for over a year. He was the youngest ever to achieve one of the higher performance ratings at Parisi. On his first evaluation he could barely do one pull up. Now he is 6'-0" 174 pounds and can do 24 pull ups. The owner, Paul David, is very involved, knowledgeable and cares about every athlete, always communicating at a personal level. My son enjoys being a part of the Parisi family and would not be at the level he has achieved in his sport without Parisi. We are looking forward to more years and more achievements with Parisi. As a parent I felt good from the first day about having my son train under the guidance of all of the trainers there. The app makes it super easy each week to sign up for the classes my son needs as it fits our schedule and works around his sport's schedule. Paul has made it all very easy. Highly recommended.

Checked this place out with some friends and after taking the introductory class we really liked the instructors approach to elite training.

I haven't taken classes with the weekday mornings' instructors but I'm sure they are really good too! They teach classes where students are at different fitness levels and attitudes too lol. The instructors do an amazing job of correcting your form, providing modifications (always ask if something starts to hurt), and they also push you harder, especially if they have seen you in previous classes. My twin sister was in town and joined me last minute to a class with Angela! She's amazing, tough and nice enough to take a picture with us! My twin loved the class so much that she's looking into joining her local LA Fitness. My favorite part is the stretching leg circles & frog with the ropes at the end of class. I definitely come to class for "me" time and to shut the noise of work and the world.

Some adjustment mechanisms are so rusted that they get stuck, making it impossible to set the machine to the correct position. This isn't just inconvenient--it's a safety hazard. The cardio equipment is also in bad shape. You'll often clean a machine before using it, only to find out it's out of order. Several of the screens are loose, outdated, or barely functional. For the amount members pay, the gym should invest in maintaining and replacing worn-out equipment. A fitness center should be clean, safe, and have working machines. Unfortunately, this location feels neglected and in desperate need of repairs and upgrades.

All the trainers are great each one has a different personality and style of training so it's nice to get the variety. And they all truly care about your personal goals. They give you modifications if you have an injury or when you're feeling like you need to train harder. The owner, Danny, is always looking for feedback so he can cater to his clients schedules and lifestyle, also looks for ways to build a community for us. They make you feel like family. And when you really commit with their nutrition recommendations the results are amazing. The other clients are great. It's nice to see familiar faces and to see people making progress on their goals. I love that they incorporate some alternative classes once a week. I can't wait to try the yoga. The virtual live zoom workouts have allowed me to have some routine/normalcy during this crazy difficult time of world wide viral war. I need someone telling me what to do and how my firm is and to push me harder. FitMo fam definitely does it for me. Thanks guys for keeping it going!

I am a 22 year old college student and I wanted to do something to start having a strong and fit body that I loved. I tried many different fitness programs in San Diego, but I had never been completely motivated to follow my coaches suggestions and to not cheat. The day I went in for the info session at Fitness and Motion, the coaches showed me before and after pictures of their clients and I thought "wow! they look amazing... if they can do it, so can I." In 6 weeks I have lost 11.5 lbs, gone from 27.4% body fat to 24% body fat, and lost over 3.5 inches off my waist. I think those numbers speak for themselves. I have a sweet tooth, but the coaches really motivated me to sacrifice sweets and give healthy food a chance, and I surprised myself in being able to do it! What makes their program awesome is how holistic it is, the trainers KNOW that to be healthy you need to workout but also need to eat healthy and sleep. They give you tips on how to not fail, like on what you can order at restaurants, or what snacks are good to have at your desk or purse that will actually aid in your nutrition and weight-loss. I will continue to go to Fitness and Motion because I see the results of their method on a weekly basis. The facilities are super clean, and you do not get that sweaty gym smell that some gyms have. Great music choices for the HIIT workouts. The only drawback for me is that they share bathrooms with the other businesses in the general area, but just bring your flip flops to shower there and you should be good. If you actually join them, I suggest being very open and communicative with the coaches. Tell them what you struggle with (whether it is eating or doing cardio on your own) and they have effective solutions and strategies for your struggles. I personally trained with Aurelie and Stephanie. They have great workouts to tone your abs and waist area. But most importantly, they really care that you get your results and that you get healthy because they care about you. They learn everybody's name and meet with people to establish new goals once the old ones are accomplished. I have no doubt that if I keep working hard and doing what they tell me to do I will get to my goal of body fat percentage very soon. Thank you to Fitness and Motion and the staff for starting me in the beginning of my new lifestyle and for being a such a supportive group of coaches. #FitMo #FitmoFam

It takes not reading the description for a new business to walk into a yoga studio utilizing the…read more**Bowspring method**, the first of its kind in San Diego. Boy, was I surprised! Plus, I'm still a yogi beginner so I've only taken classes utilizing the Hatha and Vinyasa methods. This was QUITE the experience... in a good way! I even found out later that I had mistakenly signed up for the 'Bow Flow Fire', their more high leveled class where the room is also heated between 78 and 80 degrees. Sarah was our instructor for the day and everyone there was a beginner so I do believe she may have toned it down a notch to accommodate the Bowstring newbies. Room was still heated and I was sweating! Very glad I brought a towel! How to describe this method: more bendy, flowy, and a little... wild as bouncing and swaying (of the hips and torso) is encouraged! VERY different from the conventional yoga methods where alignment and stacking is emphasized. Here, the emphasis is certainly on the form and we were encouraged to create a double S-shape with our bodies - deep forward curve in your back to open up your 'hearts' while also pushing out your tailbone (aka your a$$). Very curvy! Most poses are experienced in this position, sometimes on the balls of your feet, so it's a more active form of yoga! My calves definitely hurt and your quads and booty will also burn. By the end of class I felt very liberated and uplifted! It was fun! Just being in that double S-shaped posture was a confidence builder! I am very, very curious how much further along I can go. As a beginner, it is recommended to start with the 'Bow Flow Basics' and 'Bow Flow Water', so if I don't end up spending too much on other fitness classes, I think I will invest some time in the near future! Welcome to SD, Yoga Bow!
