Wow! I've never been up charged for cutting my nails AND shaping them. I told her I like them round and not pointy so I guess that means up charge me for almond? Came through on a Saturday afternoon with my friend and the salon was thriving! I thought it would be a hour or so to wait from how busy it was, but we got a spot almost immediately when the lady saw us browsing at the color wheels. I was looking forward to trying gel nails for the first time ever, they do offer dip powder so I might try that next time. My friend got acrylics and I was mesmerized by the process of them getting fitted and shaped haha hers turned out lovely! There's such a variety of colors to choose from, I picked one of the OPI ~hard to be a legend~ soft blue shades for Pisces season. They offered us a beverage so went with a nice chill champagne, yum! Worst experience. Ivy did my pedicure and then left me to sit in the Pedicure chair for 20 minutes while tending to someone else. I got up to leave and someone else asked me what was wrong and I said well I've been waiting 20 minutes to get my manicure. Ivy claimed that the other associate didn't tell her. But then took me over to her chair and rushed me through a manicure layering 4 coats of polish so fast. I asked her to stop after the 2nd coat to give them a chance to allow the fan dry my nails in between the coats and she got mad at me, grabbed my hand and told me that I would dry at the end. Well, I dried at the end and didn't even make it out to my car, and three of my nails are ruined. This happened to me prior if you look a previous yelp review and their reply was that I should have let them know that I needed more time for my nails to dry between. Well, I did this time and she was absolutely rude and grabbed my hand and continued to slap the layers polish on too quickly. Again, this isn't the first time it happened. Absolutely rude, rushed terrible job after making me wait over 20 minutes between toes and fingers. Beware. They just want to push you through. Complete waste of time and money. I have never been to a more rude salon. I take full responsibility for accidentally nicking my nail but I politely asked if she wouldn't mind fixing it. Instead of starting clean, she put acetone on it causing it to bubble and look uneven. She had me dry it and I was still unhappy so I asked if she could just redo it. She put another coat of polish on it and her response was "yea I know what I'm doing." The nail now is a completely different shade because of all the polish, not to mention thick. So I'm on my way to my normal salon to get it fixed. I will NEVER be back and wouldn't recommend to anyone! read more

I was very impressed as this was the fastest I've ever had a nail tech complete a dip powder manicure, and the cleanest job too. I'm very picky about clean lines around my cuticles and they were carved out so well. Also, the salon is clean and the techs are kind and attentive. I'm giving this place 3 stars because of their pricing. It's really cute nail salon but honestly anyone who charges more then 35 dollars for a gel mani is just ridiculous. Most places I go are between 28-30 dollars and do just as good of a job. I also got my eyebrows done here not a bad price but didn't do a great job. After when I got in my car I noticed I still had to do some plucking myself. Which in my opinion if I'm going to pay some 10 dollars plus tip I shouldn't have to do anything else. I was a loyal customer, every two weeks pedicure and usually a manicure. I always book my next appointment when I leave, for the nearly the last two years. I did not say anything when my usual manicurist was off and they had someone do my pedicure, the entire time talking on her phone. Today I went in and they had me soaking my feet. After 15 minutes I was told they had scheduled someone else, could I come back tomorrow? Why would the loyal customer be inconvenienced? I said that was unacceptable and I left, never to return. I am tired of the new customer being treated better. It is no difference when I see the Wall Street Journal offer 12 weeks for $12 for a new customer. I pay $47/ month and have been a loyal customer for over 35 years, where is my discount?? read more

Really enjoyed my first visit here. Dee did SNS dip powder on my nails and it turned out perfect! I came in today though wanting to get my dip removed so I could start using non-toxic polish and the nail tech (not Dee) argued that SNS powder was healthier for my nails. That is incorrect information. She proceeded to cut my nails too short to replicate their previous shape and made the nails too thick and lumpy. Really disappointed the tech did not respect the choices I wanted, pushed me towards SNS (which is more expensive as well), and then did not follow through with a good job. Respect what your customer wants even if it is not what you want to do. And don't push more costly services. read more
