This particular model has been discontinued in the United States and at the time of my research there was only 25 similar cars available across the country. Although I live in Springfield MO, 6 1/2 hours away from Cooley VW, I was immediately contacted by their staff and treated as a serious customer. The team which included the online sales sale lady, Shannon, and Marvin listen to my questions and provided me with the research necessary. I had very specific request and the team bent over backwards to assure me that if I was to make the trip down to Dallas, they would hold the car for me and address all of my requests. Ricky in the service department went the extra mile to secure VW Certification (CPO) and fix the car with the appropriate set of tires along with repainting a small peeling section of the front bumper. Shannon oversaw the entire sales process from start to finish and kept us informed about the details and progress. The Dealership honored the pricing we had discussed over the phone and never attempted to hide any additional fees. Maria in the finance department politely offered us an extended warranty package which we declined and never once did we feel pressured to purchase something that was unnecessary or did not fit our budget. We did have to wait at the dealership the better part of 10 hours while all of our requests were being met so that we could turn around and drive home the same day. Multiple staff members checked in on us and the GM even came by and thanked us for our business and made sure that we were receiving the attention we needed. If I was to purchase another VW, I would seriously consider utilizing Cooley again even though I live two states away. Long story short we took her BMW into @bmw.dallas and even though we have the wheel & tire insurance package they informed us after much discussion they would only pay 50% as full coverage only happens with a tire blow out, permanent tire air leak and or complete rim damage-replacement. This delay is unacceptable and is preventing me from properly handling registration and ownership matters. Everytime I called to get an update no one was available to speak too and when they call back they wait until the end of the day to delay things until the next day. I should not have to act as the middleman between a dealership and warranty company just to understand what I am being charged. After two weeks without my vehicle, poor communication, no loaner, and still not having clear answers about my car, I decided to remove my vehicle.
