Strong selection of stores to pick from. Theres a little but of everything. Food court did lack in options, so I would suggest leaving the building for food unless you want Auntie Annes. I had a fun time overall. Didn't get too crowded in my stay. Prices in certain stores were a little steep but you can only blame the store itself for that, not the mall. Park City Center - the disaster changing room in JD Sports - Shopping Centers Near Me - Lancaster, Pennsylvania

A good/thriving mall in a time when malls are declining and phasing out, Park City has constantly avoided that fate. Still has a nice selection of stores from Hot Topic, Aero, Game Stop, FYE, Bath and Body, Hollister the usual fare you used to find at malls with the occasional higher end boutiques sprinkled throughout: Apple store, Michael Kors, Vera Bradley, Lush, Sephora to name a few. A lot of shopes have come and gone but the ones there are worth the trip out. This is one of the nicer malls you can still go to and walk around, shop, and spend an afternoon. The Round 1 was a welcome addition (think Dave and Busters but more claw games, rock climbing, basketball and bowling) and provides another anchor for one off the "spokes" of the mall. (We joke it's a wagon wheel shape due to how its laid out) Food court has taken a hit recently (A lot of fried food). Only Burger King, Boardwalk Fries, Sbarro, Charley's Cheesesteaks, Blazin' J's and 3 Asian food stalls are left. Prices seemed high when we went this past weekend so I suggest eating at Shogun, Qdoba or one of the other sit down restaurants in the mall. Hours are all over for the mall, mostly closing at 7pm Mon-Thurs, 8pm Fri-Sat and 6pm Sun. Seems weird they close before 9pm like most malls do. Luckily the restaurants and round 1 have their own entrances so they can stay open later. Watch parking by the Starbucks and fountain shops. Parking isn't limited but tends to be tricky due to everyone wanting a close spot and its a bit tight making some of the turns with the cement islands around. read more

I love this mall! Coming from an extremely sad looking mall back where I lived in Virginia, Park City Center (PCC) is like paradise. Now, I'm not a shopper--I'll tell you that right up front. But life does give me opportunities to visit to PCC and I'm so glad I have such a great mall only 15 minutes away from my place. PCC opened back in 1971 but it underwent a major renovation in 2008. It is the largest enclosed shopping center in South Central Pennsylvania. The shape of the mall resembles a snowflake, with its stores occupying 8 corridors extending from the center. That's what I love about this mall--it makes it easy to get around without feeling like you have to go from one end to the other and run marathon. I was surprised today as I visited the mall for the first time today. Coming from Metro area in NJ, I've grown to having low expectations when it comes to shopping malls in the Harrisburg and its surrounding areas. Even though there aren't any luxury stores (e.g. Tiffani, Coach, Michael Korrs, and the like), it pretty much got everything else. One thing I like very much about this mall is its star configuration layout. All roads lead to Rome. Very unique. Actually I can't think of any other mall like this. From the center, one has access to 8 corridors or wings. The mall was first built 45 years ago, but it feels quite current and I barely noticed many signs of aging. Kudos to the property owners who's done a great job of renovating and upkeep. Aside from the 5 anchor stores: Sears, JCPenney, Kohl's, Boscov's, and Bon-Ton, there's the Apple Store and Crocs which were the main reasons for our visit today. It's also worth mentioning that there are plenty of sitting areas with very cushy couches. Another important observation was that the mall appeared bustling today. There's ample foot traffic for the mall stores. This was contrary to other malls I've visited in the recent years. This is vital as it makes the place inviting and the experience positive and upbeat, and making me want to come back again. I am a fan. read more

This mall has changed tons since I've last been. I grew up coming to this mall on weekends and even working at this mall for years at Aeropostale, the Seattle best and even the Victories Secret. I love how clean it feels now walking in and that the lighting is better. The cleaning crew is fast when it comes to picking up a spill( dropped a whole drink in front of the aunt anns). If you grew up in Lancaster in the 1970's or later Park City is in your DNA. Chances are you worked here at some point in your life, socialized here, remember the old skating rink and arcade, or maybe the XXX rated movie theater. Park City is as much Lancaster as the Amish are. We are a lucky as a community to have such a shopping mecca in our backyard. My experience with Park City dates as far back as the red carpet, skating rink, and interior water feature which makes it hard to fairly assess a mall that's like family. Some family you like, some you don't but either/or you always have love. This review and star rating is based more on nostalgia than accuracy as my life is far removed from Park City these days. I prefer to shop used and rarely get to PC more than three times a year, and that's mainly for an Auntie Anne's pretzel. Recently I met a friend there for lunch, it's been many months since my last visit and I was surprised at the shops that are no longer there. Saladworks I will miss you! I just hope that retail shell isn't rented by yet another Chinese type fast food joint (there's already three in the food court). Now for the lowdown: Park City has everything; from large scale department stores to tiny accessories kiosks. They have salons, eye doctors, tech stores like Apple, and your usual round up of mall retailers like Vera Bradley, Victoria Secret, and Bath and Body Works. Most of the stores are franchised but you will find some smaller, unique locally owned retailers as well. The lineup is always changing. Recently they've added some luxury retailers but lost a big box retailer (the Bon Ton). I will forever miss Merry Go Round (from the 80's) and Body Central which closed a few years ago. Who can forget the pizza parlor in the JCPenny Mall that had (suspected) mob involved criminal activity. Gone are the pet and drug stores in favor of more clothing retailers. While there's a variety of dining choices from the food court to chain sit down dining restaurant options I do wish there were more ethnic variety. Like I said one can only eat so much Chinese fast food! Auntie Anne's is so popular there's two locations! Surrounding the mall is several smaller strip malls featuring other retailers and chain restaurants. Joann Fabric's and Ollie's are my favorites in the annex's. The mall is located right off Rt 30 so it's easy to get to. There's plenty of seating in all the "wings" as well as massage chairs and family restrooms. Parking is plentiful and the bathrooms are usually clean. Parking at the Food Court entrance is very popular but to get closer park at the JC Penny Catalog entrance round the corner. There's elevators for those shopping with disabilities or strollers as well as escalators. Mall security is touch and go (I know too much from my years of working there at various retailers over the years) and the center court changes its design every few years to keep it fresh and current. Park City is one of the few malls that doesn't feel dated or like a desert. It's always active (not always crowded - there's a difference) and expansive. One can easily spend all day window shopping or going into debt. It was just announced that they're losing another big box retailer (Sears) in March, so hopefully someone new to the east coast will occupy that property. I'd love if Shake Shack would come to town too (*hint/hint). So while this mall doesn't offer anything different than others it's the size and history that sets it apart. read more

It makes me sad to see such terrible reviews for this place. I live in South Florida, and believe me, Park City is one of the best malls I've visited. You people in Lancaster don't know what you have! I'm surrounded by malls down here, but none of them hold a candle to this place. My usual stores to visit here include H&M (which we don't even have in South Florida) and Forever 21. Why? Both stores are GIGANTIC and have a massive selection. The only other H&M I've visited was in Las Vegas, and it was the size of a closet in comparison. I couldn't find a thing to buy there, but I find TOO many things at the Lancaster location. And while I have several Forever 21 stores down here, none of them have the selection this place does. It has an entire room JUST for accessories! It really puts the stores down here to shame. Sure, the layout of the mall is a bit strange, but I never thought much about it since it never bothered me. Besides, the nearest mall to me here is so easy to get lost in that the "octopus" layout of Park City is so amazingly simple in comparison. I will agree that the food court is nothing to write home about, but I've never come here for the food (I go to Central Market for that!). read more

Typical suburban-area mall, with standard anchor department stores like JC Penny's, Sears, Bon-Ton, and Boscov's, but there are also lots of great less-known shops inside - Francesca's is a fashion-forward clothing boutique with great accessories, Silver Moon gallery showcases some interesting jewelry and artwork from local artists, LUSH handmade cosmetics, and Nissley Wines that are worth checking out. It's smaller than King of Prussia or the Christiana Mall in Delaware, and isn't really the place to go for really high-end brands (Michael Kor's is really the only luxury line they have), but there is a good variety of stores and decent options for bargain hunters. Kohl's is always a money saver, and there's now a DSW Shoe store, though it's across the street from the main mall area. Park City has also upped its restaurant game. There are typical mall options like TGIFriday's and fast food court options on the lower level and in the center of the mall, and slightly nicer sit-down options like JB Dawson's and BJ's Brewhouse. Parking can be a real hassle. If you're just looking to get in and out, the Fountain Shops are in front of JB Dawson's, Starbucks, and White House Black Market has a few 15-minute parking spots. read more

This mall is very clean, and quite large for being in a semi-rural area. They have some good stores here, like their Apple store (which is always an eyesore but serves it's purpose), big department shops, and a good variety of smaller shops at least. It's terrible for walking around though, which is what I use malls for in the winter, a free heated place to exercise. It's shaped a lot like an octopus, which while novel, can be quite disorienting if you don't know your way. So the only conclusion I came to is that they wanted to pack the maximum amount of stores in a small space - the layout has ZERO flow. I keep thinking I have figured out where things are - and park near the appropriate mall appendage... I'm wrong. I don't think I'll ever figure this place out. What is there to not like about this mall? I wish it was in Harrisburg, 10 minutes away and not 45 minutes away. I also now know the reason why the malls in Harrisburg are so empty - because everyone goes to Park City Center to do their shopping. Lots of shopping choices. Sephora, MAC opening soon, Apple. Even the Boscovs here seemed bigger and with better selection of clothes. And the staff at Boscovs was smiling and cheerful. The Harrisburg Boscovs are all tired and grouchy sales people. Loved every bit of the time I spent here. Plenty of parking. Good access roads. Bright lighting inside. Good food options. Easy layout, difficult to get lost. Yay, another clothing store. Having gone into this mall from when it was built, it's sad to see what it looks like now. There used to be so much variety in stores, now it seems there's just one apparel store after another, with FYE, Hallmark, cellular centers, Gamestop, Books-A-Million, and Apple to break up the monotony..... Gone are the toy stores, hardware stores, music stores, hobby stores, with the "mom and pop" local stores, priced out of any way to make the necessary profits to thrive and grow..... While the mall is ok, I found the lack of directory boards to be frustrating. Mall was difficult to navigate because many stores have entrances on both the front and back of the store. You'll be walking down another "row" of stores and wonder "oh, did I walk through here already? I already saw this store." It seems the mall was more concerned with digital advertising boards which were put where directories seemingly used to be. I'll just deal with KOP next time because if I want to deal with an overwhelming mall, I may as well get all of the luxury stores. read more

Probably the most disgusting blemish on the face of our county. In the words of Obi-Wan Kenobi of Star Wars fame, "You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy." Park City Center offers a meager selection of stores, which, in turn, offer a meager selection of products. I'm a little bit biased because I don't think that any product ANY shopping mall sells is respectable unless it's manufactured in an environmentally sound manner by workers who are treated fairly and paid a fair wage. But past that, Park City is no better or worse than the York Galeria. I suppose KoP is respectable as far as shopping malls go but it's also an hour away. The food court is respectable for a food court, as far as greasy and inexpensive food is concerned. Periodic renovation involves demolition and replacement with new, equally short-lived styles. Ugh, malls annoy me.. ---------- PARKING: Like all malls, parking is horrible, and with the addition of the new fountain shops, parking is even worse. Listen, its summer and there is no place to park in the new fountain shops section. Cant wait for christmas! There is plenty of parking on the other side of the mall tho. FOUNTAIN SHOPS: Its park citys newest group of stores.. and its outside! You kind of cant access most of them from inside, and theres no cover in case of weather. They are nice looking tho. There is a Black and white store, a coldwater creek, and a restaurant (and several other places). But Ive only been in the restaurant. INSIDE: As always, they are renovating or adding new stores (Apple store coming soon!), so I assume its because of growth potential. With the new stores its kind of crowded, and at christmas its impossible to move around let alone shop comfortably. ---------- Overall, I wouldnt mind the mall, but its too big, too crowded, too hard to get out of the lot and too expensive. Its the largest mall in the county and guess what? They are about to build the second largest mall right next to it. Oh the memories this mall brings back. I grew up in Lancaster County and by god this was the place to be (and be seen) when I was a teenager. Park City was the only mall I ever knew as a kid, until I later discovered King of Prussia when I was in college. I moved out of the area in 2001 to a place with bigger and better malls. However, Park City has a nice home town feel to it that you don't really get in larger towns and cities. Plus you don't have to deal with ornery crowds and stuck up sales associates. During my last visit to Lancaster, I noticed that they've been adding more stores such as Bebe, White House Black Market and Banana Republic. Now, while you won't find a Nordstrom (or even Macy's for that matter) or any up scale stores (such as Kenneth Cole, Juicy, BCBG), Park city offers the basic necessities for any small town. If you want a glorified mall experience, plan a day trip to King of Prussia not Park City. Confession: I still crave Aunt Laura's Lemonade especially the Limeade... is that even around anymore? If not I automatically deduct one full star for Park City. read more

I just relocated to Lancaster, from Boston and I was relieved to find that Park City is a pretty OK mall. Sure, It's a mall. But, judging from some of the other malls I have visited in Central PA it is in better condition, shopped more often, and has a better selection of stores. I wish it had a Macy's but, hey, I can't have everything. Besides, the Macy's I have seen in this area, pretty much suck. read more

As someone from out of state I can truly say I envy people that are able to shop at Park City Center all year around. Park City Center immaculate...extremely clean, huge mall, plenty of parking, so many stores, food options are all over the mall (and good food...not that cheapy mall food you find at other places). Everything from the Furniture to the Staff, I'm so impressed with everything about this place! And as a Plus Size Woman there are many MANY options for my body type which I think is absolutely wonderful.
