Unfortunately, they are a scam company. They make money off of towing people in intentionally vague or confusing parking areas to visitors. The lots they patrol 24 hours a day often have inadequate signage so they can make money off of your misfortune and unfamiliarity. Park City Towing is the WORST towing company. We've dealt with Park City Tow/Towing for 30 years. And dealt with most other towing companies who service the Wasatch Back. EVERY SINGLE time we have any contact with them, they exceed my already low expectations. The people who answer the phone and management and ownership are some of the rudest people I've dealt with. They constantly try interrupt you, do not let you get an entire sentence out without cutting you off and are incredibly condescending. If you need a tow, call ANYONE but Park City Tow/Towing - you will be happier for it. If your car is towed, be prepared for a frustrating experience - even if you pay and leave their lot quickly you'll receive a letter saying you owe them thousands and that they have a lien on your vehicle. read more

this company is fraud. They towed my sisters car at the Walgreens parking lot with no written notice that you are allowed to park there just for an hour. Due to Sundance film festival there were no parking available in the parking garages. We are family of 6 here for skiing and definitely won't come back here since we are treated so poorly as out of state visitors here for the 1st time. We just wanted to walk up to town and have a dinner and these guys ruined it all. We heard that this is a big business here what this towing company is doing w visitors here and slamming them with outrageous bills to get your vehicle. This review is about Tiffany. Specifically about my experience calling in and working with Tiffany who I'm guessing runs the phone during the weekend, and probably during the week. I called in trying to get some basic information on how things were charges for storage fees and she got extremely defensive and kept interrupting me over and over again even when I asked her not to. She called me combative just because I asked for her to please not interrupt me in the middle of when I was talking and asking questions to gain clarity and understanding for how things were charged. The tow truck driver who picked up my vehicle was extremely nice and gave us a lift to where someone could pick us up. So no issues with the tow itself or that tow driver, just Tiffany. Just because of my 5 minute phone call with Tiffany and how awful that was, I'm giving a 1 star, which is generous. read more

Horrible situation made so much worse! My vehicle was in an accident. While I was trying to get help and contact a tow company, these folks came and towed my vehicle away. I wasn't even an hour from their shop and the charge was $624!!! Holy crap!! To make it worse they won't let me get my prior out of the vehicle stating that a cop, who has the day off, didn't do the paperwork right so they can charge me another state fee! Sorry. The paperwork was turned in when the vehicle was towed. This wait so we can charge you more is absolutely criminal! Now they say I can't get my belongings such as my work tools, while I figure out how to pay the extremely high price of a tow I didn't ask for. Single vehicle accident in the mountains. I was at The Ray Theater for a Sundance movie and parked in a poorly marked lot at the grocery store that there was to be NO FESTIVAL PARKING. Our car was towed and noticed the Park City tow trucks circling lot to tow more cars of other festIval goers. Got to the lot and the blonde women behind counter was "sour patch" and very unfriendly. We pay almost $300 and they didn't have car an hour when we arrived. As I was escorted to their holding lot I see our vehicle is shoe horned between to heavily damaged trucks and another smashed car blocking my backing up safely. I tried to back up but when I could see I couldn't make after a tight squeeze of getting in the car I exit and now demand I need the car blocking my exit to be moved. Colton, the tow truck operator says I can get out and I refuse as he blocked me in. I can give as good verbal expletives as Colton was giving but he begrudgingly gets his tow truck and moves the vehicle blocking me. The worst tow company and preying on tourists bringing revenue to Park City and charging mafia-type fees under the pretense of having permits to do so. Our pickup truck acted up on I-80 and we pulled into the Echo UDOT Port of Entry. I called Ford and they contacted Park City Towing to take us to the nearest dealership. Christopher received the assignment and immediately called me to verify our location. He responded in a timely manner, put our truck on his flatbed, loaded my wife and I into his cab, and took us to Park City. He played classical music softly during the 40 minute drive which helped in a somewhat stressful situation for us. Park City Towing was VERY smart to contract with/hire, a tow driver named, Destin. Destin came to my car, and went above and beyond what he was there to do. He suggested that before he tow the car to the mechanic that we try jumping my car's battery, which I had already unsuccessfully tried. But he had a more powerful system than I did and so we were able to get the car running. Destin is more than fair because he just saved me hundreds in car mechanic costs. I found the battery in my SUV dead a little over a week ago. I called Lexus Roadside and they set me up with Park City Towing and told me that it would be a little over an hour for them to arrive. I received a call from Kolton who showed up to jump my battery within 25 minutes. A week later I encountered the same scenario Once again Lexus Roadside set me up with PaRk City Towing. Within a few minutes, I received a call from Blake. I asked him if they could replace the battery. He asked for info on my vehicle and advised that he had a replacement on his truck. Within 15 my nurse he arrived....15 minutes later I had a new battery at a reasonable price. Blake and Kolton were both great... very professional, knowledgeable, and customer friendly. The experience of having your car towed is not a pleasant one, and Park City Tow made my experience significantly worse. Let me start off by saying I was not upset with this company when I went in to pick up my car. It is my fault I got towed and they were merely doing their job by towing it. But the way they spoke to me and ran their business was rude and unprofessional. First, I called to check to make sure they were open and that my car was indeed there. A gentleman answered the phone with an annoyed "hello", as if this was a personal line, not a company phone. I had to clarify that it was Park City Tow and he gave me a short-annoyed response of "yes". As someone who has worked in customer service at multiple companies, I must say this is a very unprofessional way to speak to a customer. Second, I walked into the lobby and two male employees sitting closest to the front merely stared at me, did not greet me or how ask how they could help, but instead left me to figure out who I should speak with. As I was paying for my vehicle my boyfriend walked in, and the same men who had ignored me instantly said to him "Hi, how may we help you?". I was taken aback that they could be so rude to me and then polite to him. I will say, the woman who helped me pay and get my car was pleasant and I had no issues with her. Sadly, I cannot remember her name. I understand that this company must often deal with disgruntled and angry customers, but I was polite and kind to their employees. These guys have been great! They are generally prompt and always friendly. I needed roadside assistance the other night when I ran out of fuel in a new truck with a faulty gas gauge. They showed up to assist apologizing they weren't faster. Sam was my driver and was exceptionally polite and friendly. After he got me back on the road, and then surprised me by following me to ensure I got to the nearest fuel stop. I've had a great experience with the folks over the last few years. These guys were fantastic! They did a great job and helped to make a bad morning a little less painful. I slid off the road in a notorious curve on my way to work in a snowstorm. Making matters worse, I was wedged in top of a rock berm and couldn't move the car at all. Within 15 minutes, the truck was there, 15 minutes more and my car was off the berm with (miraculously) no damage to the undercarriage or the body of the car. I have no doubt that a less experienced crew would have resulted in a less desirable outcome. They were helpful, kind and skilled at what they do.
