Poor and erratic behavior of the driver of truck #5 while ON HIS CELLPHONE and driving in the passing lane, blocking traffic etc. I called the number on the truck to report and the guy that answered claiming it is only he and his brother that that drove their two trucks and that he was NOT AT ALL FAMILIAR with wrecker # five, a white Freight-liner baring GOLD decals down both sides with MOORES phone # on it. In his (I beleive acting to be confused) he repeated over and over that he was not familiar with this vehicle #5 and that his brother was driving a BRAND NEW FREIGHT LINER with NO decals on it....later stating it must have been a #5 they SOLD previously but he had no recollection of selling it and that he would have to go out and see if one of their (alleged 2) trucks was missing! He was clearly playing a game over this matter!!!! Ironically, this same #5 on the highway became more and more aggressive as we proceeded toward Coalville in I-80, that happens to be Moore's home base as well. Slowing extremely quickly and pulling over in an attempt to get behind me, swerving across 2 lanes to the other side of the road etc. POLICE report in the works, photo's of the truck #5 and the driver wearing glasses on file. These guys are liars and very dangerous on the road!!!! Interesting after this incident that nobody at the shop answered the phone any longer. I find this a bit peculiar but parallel to previous behaviors witnessed. note; seems they use two different spellings; MOORES TOWING & MOARES Chevron & Tire? I will report with Chevron as well! read more

We needed a specialty service that they don't normally do. We were not having the easiest time finding someone and Moores was willing to do the job. They came out quickly and for a very fair price. We are quite grateful and will be happy to use them in the future if need be. read more

Our SUV broke down on our vacation 1000 miles from home, we called AAA and Ron was sent out to assist us. We could not have asked for anyone better. He got the truck loaded quickly and drove us to two shops before finding one that would be able service our vehicle. He definitely went out of his way to help us! Ron was very friendly, helpful and without him we probably would not have been able to get back on the road that day. We highly recommend Ron and his local, family owned towing company. read more

Easily the worst company I have ever been exposed to.. I broke down near east canyon reservoir. called triple a who sent this company.. with instructions to call and pick me up at the ranger station and then proceed to my truck where my girlfriend and two kids where waiting.. Driver goes straight to truck without stopping to pick me up. then proceeds to frantically run around the truck like he was in a real big hurry giving instructions to my girlfriend who now is getting very nervous because of the drivers demeanor she begins asking where I was his response was he will get a ride here before I can go get him we need to tow your truck up the hill and disconnect the boat. Finally she insisted he go pick me up He jumped in his truck and peeled out like a high school kid and took off to get me.. At no time did he ever make a call to me like triple a said he would.. he came to the ranger station with out even stopping drove thru and took off. I know because I was just down the hill waiting for him but couldn't get there before he drove off . still at no time did he try call to as instructed... then he goes back to my truck where my family is with no cell service and proceeds to hook a regular tow chain to my truck tells them I will be on my way .. my girlfriend keeps asking what are you doing and he tells her towing your truck and your going to drive she is terrified then he tells her and the kids to get in the truck being towed up the highway with a regular tow chain. then proceeds to tow a 1 ton four door dually with a 11ft 6 lance camper loaded on it,pulling a 28 ft boat behind it.. keep in mind that all weights roughly 12,000 pounds and it wont run . She had no power steering no power brakes no power of any kind... He towed it like that for some time before my daughter finally got cell service and called in a panic scared to death. when I found out what he was doing I told her as soon as he stops to call me. when he finally did he was in a big hurry to disconnect the boat . I told him not to touch any thing untill he comes and picks my up like he was supposed to. at that point he said your on your own and left. problem 1 went to broke down truck before calling and picking me up as instructed problem 2 scared family with his aggressive demeanor and unwillingness to come get me problem 3 when finally did go to get me pealed out throwing rocks toward my vehicle and family problem 4 came to get me but didn't make the call so i could let him know i was right there problem 5 towing any vehicle with passengers in it. is illegal.. and just plain stupid problem 6 towing an automatic transmission vehicle with a tow chain will ruin the transmission if the driveline is not disconnected. problem 7 leaving my family stranded on the side of the road and my self stranded a few miles down the road at the ranger station this company just plain SUCKS!!!!!! read more

My experience with tow company's had never been 'stellar' until now. Tom, the owner and tow operator showed up at the scene quickly and had an incredibly disarming personality. He was friendly, knowledgeable, hard working, and polite. It was obvious to us that he's been doing this a very long time, but the business hasn't soured him one bit. If I ever break down again, I hope it's here in Ogden. read more

We've bought tires from this company, patronized their Chevron station, and recently used their towing service when our motorcycle broke down. Their tow truck was top-notch, late model, automatic transmission with air-ride suspension and really comfortable to ride in. The driver, Todd, was very professional and courteous. Towing doesn't come cheap, and this case was no exception, BUT considering that Moore's is "the only game in town" in a small, rural area, their rates were more reasonable than I thought they'd be, plus the driver gave us a break because we paid cash. We do have roadside assistance coverage with our auto insurance, but they wanted to dispatch someone from SLC or Park City, which would have meant waiting forever, which we definitely didn't want to do in this situation. After our experience with Moore's, if we ever have vehicle trouble in this area again, they will definitely be our go-to bacon-savers! read more

We had a dangerous snowstorm come in fast in the afternoon, Moore's towing was there right away to help and take care of the situation.
