I do not recommend this place at all. They were rude when my son and I called about his suits. He missed his interview and they were extremely rude. They hung up on me when I asked them questions. I asked for management to call me back and no one ever did. I would avoid this place at all costs. For a small college town, I would find another place that values customers and tries to make things right. I chose this business because prior reviews were positive. My experience was not great. Not only were my curtains not ready when the business said they would be, they were also ironed with pleats that I did not ask for and hung so that the middle of the curtains were all wrinkled. Other businesses I have used hung the top and bottoms from the hanger so no wrinkles were created in the middle of the curtains, right where everyone looks. They had to be ironed again by hand at home before I could hang them up. I will not be using Park cleaners again. read more

I've been coming to this place for about 5 years now and have never had a problem. I've had my dry cleaning done here as well as military press, name tape stitching, uniform repairs, and crotch holes on my jeans patched up and always been happy with the final product. Theres usually a 1-2 day turn around for cleanings and is always fairly priced. read more

I took my army uniforms here to get rank and name tape patches sewn on. When I went to pick them up they had only sewn in the name tapes and not the ranks. When I returned to pick them up again the ranks were sewn on uneven and name tapes were removed from one uniform top (the receipt specifically states to only change rank patches). The extra name tapes were not returned and neither top is wearable because of the improper placement of patches. They even called to clarify what to do with each patch and the result is the opposite of what I requested. The whole process took approximately 4 weeks. read more

They ruined my silk formal dress. Strings of fabric were coming off. They tried to hide it too by using safety pins under the dry cleaning bag. I took it in for a stain removal and was unhappy when the stain didn't come out. Not only did the stain not come out but it was in worse condition when it was returned so much so that I can't wear my $200 dress anymore. Would never recommend this place to anyone. I have to review this place because of all the other negative reviews My dog ripped up my fragile Anthropologie quilt (pawing at it in circles until she found an appropriate spot) and I had to patch about three feet of it back together. She also sheds like crazy and leaves burs everywhere, so I took the quilt to get it dry cleaned and warned Park cleaners about the fragile state of the quilt. They told me that if anything happened to it (more rips and tears), then they would sew it back together themselves! It was ready the moment they said it was going to be ready, no damage at all to the quilt, it smells clean and nice and is still soft AND it was only $14! They never hand the receipts for items delivered to them. Park Cleaners lost 2 of my shirts and never made a reasonable effort to locate them. Besides, the cleaning equipment is dated, and some of my wife's wool sweaters and my wool pants were slightly damaged after dry cleaning. We are certainly not returning there. read more

Went to get a dress altered here for Easter and called before hand to see how much it would be they originally said 16 dollars and when I picked it up they told me about 12 dollars more than that. I was in a rush so didn't really feel like arguing but when I got home there was a giant stain on my 200 dollar dress! I was so upset... I still don't understand how that even happened because I told them I didn't need it washed or anything just altered... I will never go back there. read more

I walked in, and before I could even say a word, all they cared about was getting my name and information. Not even a "hi" or "how are you today?" Got a suit dry cleaned and two shirts laundered for $11. A bit on the high side, but not too bad. They usually have a coupon in the many coupon books distributed on campus as well. Dropped off on a Tuesday around 1PM and was told they'd be ready at 5PM Thursday. I accidentally left the collar stays in my shirts so they were gone when I picked up. I asked to see if they just had any I could take that were left behind by others (assuming this is a fairly common thing in their industry) and they looked at me like I was crazy. Park Cleaners are the absolute worst dry cleaner/ alteration establishment that I have been to. I have had dry cleaning done over seas as well as all over the country and have never seen worst quality control. Don't get me wrong, I am not completely bashing them. The staff is polite and the location is convenient, but I will never go there again, EVEN IF IT IS FREE! I gave them numerous opportunities hoping that the batch of clothes I got back was a monday batch, but I was wrong. Almost every shirt that I have taken there now has freshly imprinted double cresses. I had some alterations done on three sets of trousers and WOW. They took some slack out of the back to tighten the waste and when I put them on, I had a "V" shape pointing down my butt crack. When I took them back and showed them and asked them to fix it they looked at me like it was a job for a fancy Italian suite maker. They did fix the waste but when they did that it raised the cuffs at the ankles about an inch so now I have high waters. Oh did I mention they charged me full price to fix THEIR mistake! I am ashamed of myself for going back so many times after they continued to ruin my Marine Corps uniforms. read more

For 3 years, I was a regular customer for at Park Cleaners.Until the day I went to pick up two pairs of my work pants that I had dropped off a week prior.They lost them - although the owner or manager (Ben) said "they (my pants) were hiding from him." He didn't start diligently trying to recover my pants until 5 days later I brought him the print outs from the online store of how much it was going to cost HIM/Park Cleaners to reimbursement me or purchase the pants. After he realized that it would cost him $130, he immediately jumped up and began making calls to the "guy who accidently took them home with his dry cleaning." Within LESS than 24 hours of telling him I needed either my pants or $130 in the next 2 days, he found my pants. OK so I understand accidents happen. That I can forgive. However, the fact AS SOON AS I mention it will cost Park Cleaners $130 to reimburse me or buy the pants, that is finally when they took it seriously. Park Cleaners is a member of the International Fabricare Institute so prior to going up there to tell them how much it will cost them if they cannot find my pants, I checked with this organization's guidelines for reimbursing for lost clothing. Since I had purchased my pants exactly one month prior, the cost of my work pants were 100% reimbursable and I had my reciept to prove their age. Although I didn't have to mention this fact while negotiating with Ben at Park Cleaners, I did arrive prepared to say it. After all was said and done, I recieved my pants 7 days late and was not asked to pay for the dry cleaning charge. (I didn't bring my wallet inside when I picked them up regardless.) I dropped my dry cleaning off on Monday and was told it would be ready by Wednesday by 4:00 pm. The customer service was mediocre at best, as usual. No one is ever smiling and they all just want you in and out as quickly as possible. I returned Thursday to pick up my items and was told they weren't ready. I asked when they would be ready and was told by an employee that she didn't really know and that it would be later the same day or Friday. I told her I needed a reliable quote because I wasn't going to come back until they were ready. She asked her boss/the owner (who avoided contact with me) when they would be ready and he told her by Friday afternoon. I went back Friday to pick up my order. Every employee looked unhappy to be there and were short with the customers in front of me. I waited my turn and then gave a woman my name so she could locate my items. She came back very quickly to let me know they still weren't ready. I told her that I'd already been in twice to pick them up and was told they would be ready by this time. She went into the back again and came out a few minutes later to tell me they were going to press them for me right then and asked if I wanted to go ahead and pay. I asked if I would be charged full price after having to come back twice already and having to wait. She told me that yes, I would. At that point I asked to speak to her boss/the owner. He came out, obviously nervous to speak to me, and I told him my issue with having to pay full price for such low quality service. He interrupted me several times to tell me there was nothing he could do and that they were too busy to meet their quote times. I pointed out that they should probably change them if the business couldn't meet the times, especially since one of my unmet quote times was directly from his mouth. He continued to tell me there was nothing he could do, and never apologized for the situation. I told him I'd just like to have my items back so I could take them somewhere else. He brought them out to me just stuffed into a bag even though I'd brought everything in folded nicely on hangars. Needless to say, I will never be returning to this business again. read more
