This place is so cute! I came here with my sister because she said she always wanted to check out the store, but it was always closed when she came by. She asked for clarification on their hours, but I don't remember if she got a clear answer. They have beautiful flowers available, and they also have fun accessories. I bought a cute claw hair clip that was multicolored, translucent, and pastel. The hair clip had an adorable star and moon charm attached to it. I bought it for myself and was happy with the price. Dont get me wrong the flowers are beautiful! One of a kind. But the customer service was horrible. Im actually afraid to go back and shop for flowers. Today I walked in to buy a bouquet of flowers and I felt like I was rushed to choose what I wanted and when I got there to pick up my flowers there was a small Asian lady that approached me she looked like she did not want me there. She didn't smile she didn't ask how I was doing. She seemed very irritated of my existence there when I asked her for a vase she said it's $14. I went to pay for it and I was hoping she would put my flowers in the vase but instead, she wrapped up the vase and wanted me to leave immediately after I paid for it. No happy Valentine's Day. No thank you for coming. I find that very alarm in since I dropped about $100 at that store never again will I give my business to that place and even though like I said the flowers are beautiful. The customer service is very poorly managed. Again, I'm not really sure what I ever did to her, but I don't like to feel rushed and to be honest, even though the flowers were beautiful I did ask for the flowers to have at least one red rose, and I did not receive a red rose if anyone can point me to another florist around the area of Crown Heights please do because this one is not it. read more

Park Deli is the best! After getting each other bouquets from Park Deli for years, we hired Park Deli as our wedding florist -- the first vendor we hired. Their florals are original and completely gorgeous. Valentine and the Park Deli team have wonderful vision, but are also very receptive to feedback on types of flowers, color palettes, and everything else. We asked for a palette of lots of greenery, ivory, light pink, and peach, and Park Deli more than delivered -- they used seasonal elements like olive branches and greens in our wedding arch, delicate sweet pea tendrils in our bouquets, and so many other interesting pops of color and seasonal but less common varietals. We're thrilled with how our flowers turned out and can't wait to keep buying their bouquets! read more

A little gem in crown heights. Park Delicatessen is neither a park or a deli but rather a hybrid, skate, flower shop owned by a very well dressed husband wife duo! First for the flowers! They have a stunning and unique assortment that all your troubles disappear! The peonies that we're shipped from Sweden if i remember correctly brought instant beauty and much needed joy to my home while sheltering in Place. Also to note, you're encouraged to order flowers on thier site ahead of time for curbside pickup. Only certain flowers/quantities are available for walk-Ins. Then for the skateboards! I Brought my twin boys here to buy new wheels and bearings for thier boards after graduating from 4th grade. The owner selected an assortment and presented them in a tray from the doorway, to maintain social distance, for the boys to choose from. Once they selected, she took thier boards to the back of the store to be completed. We waited on the bench outside the store while she finished, while the boys selected imported Japanese (?) candies from the window display. Entire process took 15 minutes. The best part was that that she took the time to explain care for thier new boards, and advised them to ride everyday. It's feels like a family business, run on love. I loved how the bouquets are designed with the seasons in mind and in accordance with what's available in the flower market. You won't get a cookie-cutter bouquet here! Michael and his wife Valentine were a pleasure to work with in getting my Mother's Day flowers delivered to Manhattan LES. This first bouquet was so charming that I later ordered 4 more bouquets to present at a fundraiser for work, and threw in 1 more personal order for Mother's Day. It being the start of the spring season, Valentine mixed peonies, sweet-smelling lilacs, tiny tea roses, and other wild-looking flowers with green trick dianthus (fluffy green flowers so awesome I had to look up the name), to create effortlessly beautiful bundles. She then wrapped each bouquet in white paper and tied with red and white bakery string. Can anyone say: quintessentially Brooklyn? At least, the part of Brooklyn where people are normal and unpretentious. Michael and Valentine are super communicative and creative. I'd recommend spending at least $30 per bouquet to really give them the flexibility to work their magic and you won't go wrong. read more

The store has a great inventory of flowers, clothing, and small goods. But that all falls to the wayside due to the attitude of the sales associates. There is no hello when entering the store, there is no "can i help you with anything," and they seem completely indifferent to helping when I've initiated communication. For a shop that charges premium prices, I expect a much higher quality of customer service. If this were fixed I'd be leaving a 5 star review. read more

First off, this store is definitely not a florist. It's misleading to even label it as such. As the name "Park Deli" suggests, this store is a offshoot from a corner bodega. The ambiance is hipster-chick as in "I'm a trust fund kid with loaded parents that pay my rent," but, "I act ghetto and ride skateboards to make people think I grew up in the 'hood and not in the suburb." As you can imagine, such ambiance comes with a price tag. This skateboard-bodega is expensive as hell. I stopped by to get a bunch of flowers. I don't know how, but I ended up walking out with four flowers having paid close to $20. The worst part is, they looked like I picket them from someone's backyard. After riding my skateboard all the way to the girl I was going to give them to, she refused to take them and instead asked me to return them to the backyard I picket them from and apologize to the owner. She doesn't want the neighborhood to get a bad reputation, she said. This bodega sucks. read more

Really kewl stuff. Park Deli kind of epitomizes what is changing Brooklyn: eclectic good taste. It may have been solely a deli or a florist at some point, but today there is a smorgasbord of goodies strewn around beyond the misnomer of a name. Skater gear, t's, beanies, handmade jewelry, handmade cards, candles, soap, kids clothing, etcetera. It's one of those places where a couple can come in and both be enamored with the inventory. Everyone is entertained and intrigued. It's owned by a husband-wife team, the wife whom I've had the pleasure of meeting while looking for a bouquet of flowers for my fiancee. For $20, I got a very exotic, well-put together bouquet. It wasn't a lot of flowers, but the selection seemed carefully done and each stem complemented the other. I liked it, and more importantly, my fiancee liked it. Other people also complimented on them as well. I'll definitely return to get more flowers and etcetera. Gotta bring the other. The only gripe may be that some of the stuff is a bi pricey, and there are no price tags anywhere so you have to constantly ask how much stuff is. At one point, you just don't want to ask anymore because you probably won't buy anything because you'll be disappointed by the price. I think some of that is substantiated by the quality of things (e.g. handmade card $5-$6) and some of it not justified at all (e.g. skater beanies $30). But I suppose, this is the gentrification of Brooklyn. read more

Last year I was trying to find a florist who could deliver what I had envisioned for my eclectic, artistic daughter's birthday. I live in Australia and was scouring the white pages online. They all seemed so ... tame? boring? humdrum? I found this little beauty, intrigued because it was a skate shop/deli/florist and just seemed to have the right mindset to do something a little left of center. The communication was a breeze, Michael was stoked to do an order that wasn't your typical flower order and my daughter was delighted, including an Australian chocolate bar. So... this year I had no questions about whom I would contact. Again, easy communication, clear understanding and a job well done. It's cool that retail is making headway in this neighbordhood and giving local skaters a place to grab their goods without trekking all the way down to KCDC. Park Delicatessen is a regular favorite for flowers so when we were getting married, they were a natural choice. It is funny to be surprised at the amazing quality of a place who consistently makes the most beautiful and varied flower arrangements, but on our wedding day, I cried when I saw the bouquet and the beautiful arrangements at our venue. There were so many different types of flowers and greenery that all complimented each other. I am only sad that they could not last forever! I ordered 5 of their small arrangements to use for a belated wedding celebration dinner and we were blown away by how sweet they were. What a cool little store in the PH! Skates, skateboards, funky -shirts, vintage EverReady old skool steel torches and ETC. The neatest thing is that they have fresh flowers-actually the only flower shop in the prospect heights area. I got some flowers for my friend who I was meeting at Chavella's right around the corner. The owner did a great job of putting together a small arrangement for me. I saw a pair of vintage silver earrings that I had to get my friend she loves long earrings...so there flowers earrings done all in one store! The owner was super cool and friendly as well. Came in for flowers for Valentines and gave them a vague (at best) description of what I was looking for and whammo, they made a beautiful arrangement on the spot which is even more impressive because it was Valentines and they obviously had a ton going on. I just went by Park Delicatessen to buy my first complete board in 20 years. Mike, the owner, was a great help giving me some guidelines for what I should look for in a deck, trucks, wheels and bearings. I am so far out of the loop and have no idea what would suit me best so all his info was essential in getting me a setup I could try to revisit my youth on ;-) I had forgotten how great a skateboard in the hand feels. While he was building the board we had a nice chat about skating and the store. He started the store to be a skateshop of course, but also to provide a community center of sorts to the skaters in the neighborhood. Clearly it's been effective as was evidenced by the kids hanging out outside the store and I'm really glad I didn't just by a complete from a faceless online store. It's a bit more expensive than an e-shop (as would be expected) but I know that as I need parts and help I can just roll down to Park and get the assistance I need. And they run skate events too to keep with the community vibe. Oh yeah, they also sell vintage home and garden stuff as well as fresh flowers so there's something for the whole family! Park Deli provided superb floral arrangements for our wedding day. If you like organically arranged unique wild flowers, Park Deli will do just that! I only requested one or two flowers in my bouquets, but I trusted them with the rest and they hit it on the nail! it MADE the pictures. They are also willing to help with set up the day of, such as staging of entrance table and more. I didn't have a wedding decorator/planner, so had them help set up our ceremony garland decor. Michael's staging experience knew exactly what to do. Both Michael and Valentine are awesome and easy to work with. Whenever I had a "worry" moment, they quickly reassured me with a solution or confirmation everything was in order. read more

I really wanted to like the concept at Park Delicatessen, but I was completely underwhelmed with the bouquet I got there. It ended up being small, unimaginative, and took far longer than necessary for staff to assemble it. I know flowers are expensive, but I've been to much fancier places where $30-40 can at least get you a modest, but beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers in interesting combination. My bouquet for the same price from Park Deli was wilted, puny, and mostly made up of boring, grocery store-looking blooms. I wouldn't recommend their flowers to anyone looking for a gift. read more
