Great Customer Service from Noel! Headed in for some new shoes, he was nice enough to fix the laces up for me. Recommend

To be honest, I did not have a design in mind- but knew that color-wise I wanted it to be simple, and not boring. Yes- I am very picky and weird. They showed me a primitive / p rodriguez in pastel pink embossed eagle and instantly I was in love. I was a bit hesitated at first because pink isn't what I would normally go for. The staffs (or owner?) were SO nice and informative listening to my needs and selected the best set up for me. Given that this was my first skate shop of the day, I told them that I was still looking around and they were really nice about it. They understood. After going to KCDC and Skate Brooklyn (also went to Labor, Supreme, and SHUT the previous weekend), I was set buying from Homage. I called the shop to let them know about my interest, and by the time I got there they had everything all set out. It took them 15 minutes to set up my board with trucks, wheels and tape- and then I was out the door! They were also teaching a little boy how to skate board at the time, and with the parents there they were really nice, honest, and up front about their son's lessons. I appreciate their honesty with the parents and would actually consider taking classes from them. If I do sign up, I hopeI'm not the only twenty something year old student. Thanks Homage!

My eight-year-old is a cautious, nervous boy and I am so moved and overjoyed by the way Hunter (and other teachers, they're all great) has patiently, gently, kindly dealt with his tears when he was afraid, felt glee when he braved a scary move, like riding on a ramp. Hunter, of course, keeps him safe, physically, but also has an amazing way of pushing him to do more than he thought possible. Yes, my boy is learning to skateboard. But he's also learning so much more.

Today I walked in to buy a bouquet of flowers and I felt like I was rushed to choose what I wanted and when I got there to pick up my flowers there was a small Asian lady that approached me she looked like she did not want me there. She didn't smile she didn't ask how I was doing. She seemed very irritated of my existence there when I asked her for a vase she said it's $14. I went to pay for it and I was hoping she would put my flowers in the vase but instead, she wrapped up the vase and wanted me to leave immediately after I paid for it. No happy Valentine's Day. No thank you for coming. I find that very alarm in since I dropped about $100 at that store never again will I give my business to that place and even though like I said the flowers are beautiful. The customer service is very poorly managed. Again, I'm not really sure what I ever did to her, but I don't like to feel rushed and to be honest, even though the flowers were beautiful I did ask for the flowers to have at least one red rose, and I did not receive a red rose if anyone can point me to another florist around the area of Crown Heights please do because this one is not it.

She asked for clarification on their hours, but I don't remember if she got a clear answer. They have beautiful flowers available, and they also have fun accessories. I will like to come back to purchase something if I can catch them while they're open.

Multiple mechanics suggested I might not know how to shift properly, but the actual problem turned out to be a bent chainring. That was only discovered after I went back multiple times and pushed for them to keep looking. It did not seem like the bike had been properly test ridden before I was told the issue was rider error. Communication was also difficult, and the overall attitude I experienced from staff felt passive aggressive rather than helpful. I was largely left on my own trying to sort out what was going on. They also replaced the wrong bolt on my saddle. When I asked about replacing the correct bolts, I was told they did not have the proper ones, and the issue was not properly resolved. After multiple visits, repeated charges, poor communication, and the real problem being missed until I pushed for further inspection, I would not return.

The staff acts like they're curating art at a gallery instead of fixing brakes. I asked about a repair and got a response like I interrupted a TED Talk on bicycle culture. Relax--it's a chain and two wheels. And the prices? I thought they were quoting me for a full bike rebuild, a documentary, and emotional support. Labor costs so high I expected my bike to come back with better credit than me. Same attitude both times--like I needed them more than they needed customers. It's a bike shop, not a fashion week afterparty. Nobody needs this level of arrogance over a tune-up. Plenty of other shops in NYC that will fix your bike and treat you like a human being. Start there.

At no point should bolts randomly fling off your bike while you going down the Brooklyn bridge going 24mph. I'm a high school student and I had to pay for my bike with my own money. I've been working since 10th grade to help my mom because she is a single parent so for me the loss of about 5k including repairs leave me without transportation as I can not afford to repair it at this point. I've spent 3.7k on a bike, this isn't including the repairs i had to pay over the span of a year which amount to at least 1.4k+ after random bolts detaching and motor failing, and as soon as the warranty expired my bike had a random electrical issue where the bike wouldn't accelerate. From the owner Pete: OK, where are you going? (Direct email sent from owner) 1- Last Mile NYC replaces all of the electronics on your bike. The cost of the parts and labor is $2910.54 2- Send your bike back to Super73. They will do their own diagnosis, and determine the issues and fix the problems. Unfortunately your bike is not under warranty, the cost of packing up and freighting your bike to and from Super73 will be around $1200. Plus their diagnostic fee, parts and labor. We were not notified that parts were on backorder, even though it said when I ordered that they were in stock and would ship within a few days. Another part they ordered the wrong size and along this process, they never let us know what was going on. I had to call to find out why I hadn't received something in a couple weeks and then again to figure out where his stem was. They never returned our calls, which meant I had to take extra time out of my day to call back numerous times. It is unfortunate that they are such a large distributor of Colnago bikes. There's no way I'm going to support this place again. They don't deserve my money and I'm upset about the thousands of dollars I've spent there thus far. It won't happen again.

For someone with such simple taste in clothing, accessories, products and more, I am surprisingly particular. Well, it's a good thing this shop is here. They stock virtually everything a man might need from head to toe. Hats, scarves, gloves, coats, shirts, pants, boots, belts, ties, grooming products, candles, wallets, backpacks, jackets, graphic tees I would actually think about wearing (extremely rare), and more. And what's more? All of it is tasteful, stylish, and comfortable. The phrase "well-curated" was invented to describe this place. Even the music they are playing is well-curated. Plus, the people are nice, there's a tiny Bernie figurine overseeing the return policy, and the sign outside says it's time for bourbon and sweatpants. I agree, it is time for bourbon and sweatpants (even if it is like 9 am right now).
