I have several decayed teeth and was told I had to have them removed to prevent infection of the patch ASAP or the patch would fail causing a massive brain bleed that would cause my death. I had a referral per their requirement that even told them of the urgency. I explained all of this this to the scheduler who didn't care about my situation and said the soonest they could get me in for just a consultation would be in June and the procedure would be even later! I was able to get an appt with Pro Dental in Blaine for this Thursday. I would never go to The Dental Specialists as they don't really care about people.

I had several probs with my cell so I asked her one more time for. directions. When I got there, the person that checked me in was very nice. However, the dental tech was TERRIBLE. She was very short with me, she cut me off several times & made me feel like I was wasting her time. She jammed the x-ray piece in my mouth & caused a little bleeding. I told her she cant just shove it in & she cut up my gum. I told her the VA used a child bitten block because my mouth is so small. She blew me off. I have never felt to unwanted. I am a 100% disabled veteran. I needed help. They were unable to fix my tooth. I think it was a blessing. I hope the VA will evaluate my case. I hate to complain, but veterans deserve better treatment. We deserve to be treated like everybody else.

Seriously, run far away from this pathetic business!! The office manager is a nightmare to deal with and they had no remorse for placing my wife in a near death situation! So I tried this dentist and did the interview and all the x-rays of my teeth. So was scheduled to have my partial tooth removed by them. Being on a blood thinner they wanted the levels checked before the removal. I was a little outside the normal levels so all of a sudden they referred me to the dental specialists. There was almost a 3 month wait just for a consultation, not to fix the problem. I feel I was referred to TDS due to I was not open to spending a lot of money for other fixes on how the years have changed my mouth. I have learned to change my eating for my current situation and will once again to on with my life without seeing dentists who you wonder go by show me the money.
