UGH! When you use TeleFlora from far away, you expect service. NOT a lazy driver who drops flowers in the rain on your doorstep not under the over hang plus the arrangement had broken ornaments on it. NOT to mention the fact that when MY local florist went to YOUR florist to have a flower delivery for my Mom...you guys blew it and made my florist look bad. OK, it was worked out that they would exchange the arrangement and make it right.. How complicated it THAT?! YOU should GIVE my mother another flower arrangement, not a switch cause what if she wasn't home. You are so BAAAAAD at customer service I hope my florist never utilizes your teleflora service again. They created a beautiful arrangement that surrounded her urn and two arrangements to frame enlarged pictures of her. They were exactly as we'd hoped they'd be. I received 3 dozen roses this Valentine's day from Park Florist, ordered over the weekend by someone out of town. He had asked they be delivered later in the day so a roommate could answer the door - I work nights so I sleep at odd times - I vaguely remember hearing the doorbell a few times but thinking someone must have answered. Around 10pm I went downstairs and found a beautiful vase of 36 long stem roses outside my front door. I had actually had a conversation earlier in the day about how I'm not one for flowers or roses, but I also had never been sent either. But in that moment I felt like a princess. I had a voicemail from Park Florist confirming I did get them since no one had actually answered the door (thanks roommates...). The presentation was fine but didn't do much to showcase how impressive that number of roses really can look. When I sent a quick picture to the guy who sent me them, he said it looked like too few - just a bad angle on one of endless floral arrangements sent out this Valentine's day. Received some beautiful flowers from Park Florists for my birthday. I've seen arrangements that I've sent to family members and they always look slightly less than on the website, but these were so incredible, there's no way they could have looked better than on the website. I had to travel, so was bumbed that by the time I got home, the flowers would probably be dead. My husband kept water them watered, but the house got very hot during the day. Got home six days after they were delivered, snipped a few of the faded blooms and they still look good. I even have a few unopened buds to look forward to. Deliveryman knocked nice and loud when I didn't answer the bell (which sometimes doesn't work), so I thank you for that. read more

I wasn't sure what to expect but I put my faith in this local florist that has been around for many years. I didn't comparison shop because I didn't have the time or the energy to do so but I will say that the end result was amazing and worth every penny spent! The delivery was on-time (actually early). The staff was more than helpful. A week before the event I realized that I had ordered and paid for five arrangements more than needed, there wasn't any problem changing the order and receiving a refund. I received an arrangement of flowers from Park Florist that was sent to me for my birthday by my husband who was out of town. First of all he thought he was calling The Flower Cart, formerly of Pinole, who had moved their business into their home. But the number goes directly to Park Florist instead. For years we had been buying all of our flower arrangements from The Flower Cart. They were so beautiful that I would photograph each and every one of them for my FB page. Now I learn that the ladies have retired and they have given their business to Park Florist. Buyer beware. Instead of getting fabulous, inspired, creative arrangements of fresh beautiful flowers, I'm getting some standard product taken from a Telefora book. Where is the creativity? My husband paid $100 for what he thought would be a spectacular display of flowers and instead we got something that looked like $50. And the flowers started wilting within 2 hours of receipt! We will never do business with this company again. Shame on you Flower Cart ladies for giving your business to this concern. You should have done your homework and found another flower shop that would meet your high standards. This one surely does not. read more

I was born and raised in Richmond so I have long been familiar with the work done by the Park Florist. We moved away to Sebastopol when my husband retired in 2002 but we still have many friends and relatives in the the area. One of those friends recently had surgery on a shoulder and I wanted a particular flower arrangement (I wanted the dog in a basket above) to keep him company while he recuperated. I didn't hesitate to call Park Florist to have them make it for me, and it was delivered,in time to keep him company when all he could do was sit and watch TV! (It was quite well received!) The flowers were fresh, colorful, and the dog was just like I ordered. I can always count on Park to deliver exactly the type and color flower I want. Timing is everything when it comes to flowers as a gift. Birthdays are one day a year. Unfortunately, Park Florist delivered a bouquet a week early, so my friend had wilted flowers on their birthday. Also, I paid extra for more blooms and higher quality, but the upgraded price did not match what was delivered. When I contacted Park Florist, I was not given even an apology. The gentleman told me what he thought happened with the timing, and asked what they could do to make it right. I asked for the bouquet I purchased to be delivered on the day I purchased it to be delivered on, but that didn't happen. Nothing has happened to correct this timely mistake. Park Florist will not receive my patronage, recommendation, or money again. Tried to have some flowers delivered to my wife , the girl that took my order over the Phone stated my flowers will be delivered before noon . Never the less they weren't Instead I called back to see what was the hold up and some rude idiot guy said we don't give times and we tried to deliver the flower but my wife didn't answer the phone This was a lie because I've been calling her all morning to see if she received them and she answered every time. There used to be an older sweet lady there that had great customer service . Park Florist delivered a table arrangement sent from our kids in Oregon for Christmas. It was perfect. Pretty roses, lilies, carnations and other nice flowers. It had two red candles in the center, not too huge, done low and wide, so it went perfect in the middle of the table. I received a gift holiday arrangement today, created and delivered by Park Florist, which was ordered through Teleflora by my elderly aunt who is back in New York state. I know how expensive wired flowers are, and I feel bad for my aunt that what I received is so cheesy looking. I looked on Teleflora's website and this thing most closely matches the pic & description of the "Caroling in the Snow" selection. However on Teleflora, the vase is a 'red mirrored cube' and looks pretty. This came in a really tacky looking giant ceramic "ornament" which is, I guess, supposed to look like a snowball, but isn't just white & spherical, but also coated with iridescent glitter. Even on Park Florist's site, the comparable arrangement is shown in a red "ornament" vase with a white design - which wold have been maybe almost okay. This thing is called a "keepsake" but I have no intention of letting it stay in my house; it will have to go out on the curb immediately. It's hideous. Furthermore, the arrangement itself is chintzy looking. It's heavy on the 'mums, and has what looks like one spray of lilies, 3 open, and maybe 4 unopened buds, and then exactly 3 red roses. And instead of the "white pine, noble fir and holly" Teleflora mentions, the greenery here consists of a scattered handful of drooping juniper, and three little twigs of pine. Oh, and a large part of the "arrangement" is taken up by a couple of huge pine cones with that cheesy white paint dabbed on the bracts to look like snow. And 2 small red-flocked "velvet" ribbon bows stuck in there, too. There is absolutely no artistry evident in the way all these bits were jammed together. Of course, it would be hard to ever achieve artistry, when beautiful flowers (taken individually) are presented in the world's ugliest vase. I feel really sad and sorry for my 80-something widowed aunt, that she spent too many of her precious retirement dollars, thinking she was sending me something beautiful, because according to Teleflora's website, the smallest version of "Caroling in the Snow" (which I'm sure this is) is currently going for $35! And I'm sure hoping she didn't actually get charged $65, which seems to be the only price Park Florist has advertised for this type of arrangement on their own site. It got delivered today, Dec. 23, so I would guess that means it was at least timely, and came in pretty good shape - only a couple of broken petals on the mums, and the roses look like they will last another day or two. So for that reason, I'm giving it two stars instead of one. I see that most of the other reviewers have been delighted with what they got. Perhaps it makes a difference, if they are customers who walk into the store and can visually see what they are ordering, and are more likely to come back in and complain if turns out a disappointment? And maybe when it's a Teleflora order, and the customer is shelling out $35 from 3000 miles away (part of which, no doubt, Teleflora gets to keep), they just care a lot less, what they actually deliver? Well, I live in Richmond, same town as Park Florist, so I know for sure where I will NOT be going to order flowers, if I need to give an arrangement to someone. read more

I called Park Florist because I needed a Florist vendor right in Richmond and one that has done business there delivering to nearby businesses . Another thing is that I wanted to make this arrangement nice in honor of my late brother's birthday on Feb 9 who tragically passed away last December and was buried @ St Joseph Cementery and Mortuary @ San Pablo, Ca ( next town to Richmond). Delivery of the flowers were important as my only sister who lives In Richmond has no way of a better transportation available at that time plus the on going and persistent and current rain all week will certainly dispose her to illness ( she had told me earlier that week of feeling ill. but has intended to go as she didn't want to miss his birthday either; she relented after cautioning her of possibly becoming sicker). I spoke with Art on the phone who helped me initially by redirecting to the right website of the business where I ordered the nice colorful flower arrangement in a basket form( as suggested by Art) . I was a little more detailed in making sure that that they are helped by the Mortuary office staff as there was no site sign ( grave marker) placed on the cemetery plot as of this time and I didn't t want them to have difficulty in locating it . Art seems to have experience delivery to St Joseph and said that they 'll be sure to delivery it rain or shine . I also asked Art for an email confirmation of the purchase which I received right away. I think I would have been very happy with this experience have I gotten a response to the reply email which I posted when I confirmed the bill receipt. Although it seems like an afterthought, it certainly wasn't too late ( this was a day before actual delivery ) to ask that please sent a photo( via email )of the actual placement at the grave site ( which I have seen in past Review to be some what customary for out of town Buyer like me ). Unfortunately, I never got a response and I even feel that my email must not have been addressed because no one checks their office emails or for some reason a follows up from Customer is non expectant occurrence for them. on 3/15/14, I placed an order for the FTD wonderful wishes floral birthday cake. This floral birthday cake was to arrive on a tiered cake plate. Well, this arrangement was to arrive on 3/17/14. I was thoroughly disappointed when it arrived at the recipients home on that day without the tiered cake platter. I have called over 7times explaining that the arrangement was delivered without cake platter and each time I was told that it would be sent out. I finally reached my boiling point when I called on Wednesday 5/26/14 and demanded that I either get a full refund 0f the charges of $59.95 plus delivery fees and taxes OR that they send the promised tiered cake platter that should have been sent with original order. Finally, they send this tiered cake platter to the recipient. Today she FINALLY received it..some 2 1/2 months later. How does this place stay in business. Their service is certainly NOT what it used to be..and the worse part of this, had I not been at the recipients home when this arrangement was delivered, I would have never known that she didn't receive the cake platter. Talk about cheating the customer. They certainly didn't adjust my bill although they knew the arrangement didn't have the platter. Guess they were hoping I would just forget about it. Not hardly. I have been using this florist since the 70's. I procrastinated and did not order arrangements for Thanksgiving. I actually needed three arrangements and I was cringing at three delivery charges. So I phoned Park Florist the day before Thanksgiving and requested three arrangements. All different. I mentioned to keep the price around $40 each. I paid over the phone and in one hour I picked up three beautiful arrangements. I normally order my Thanksgiving arrangements in Grass Valley and when I arrive at my in-laws, I'm always stunned how small the arrangements are. Thank you to Park Florist for being so gracious in my family's time of need. My family had a memorial service for my father-in-law on Saturday, May 26, 2018. Like so many families, we were overcome by the stress of planning such an event and overlooked the need to have flowers at the service. I literally walked into the store 30 minutes before the service was to begin and the staff immediately put me at ease. They assured me that I was not the first to be in this position. Seeing that I had no clue on how to put a bouquet together, they simply took charge and started working on making the arrangements right on the spot.
