For a one night stopover in Brussels, we decided on this hip looking airport hotel. Their website had instructed us to notify them of our arrival time and date so they can arrange for a shuttle....or so we thought. NOPE. No shuttle and when we called they were like "they come at scheduled times..if you want you can taxi over" wth? What was the point of notifying you guys then. Ok so nm that. Check-in dude was whatevers. Nonchalant. Didn't seem like he cared about a thing in the world. He did offer us to pay 11 euros for their breakfast buffet or pay 18 ish in the morning. We ate dinner in their restaurant. We got a burger which was alright and KRAFT MAC & CHEESE!?! If I was going to pay 12 euros for a plate of boxed mac & cheese topped with a few puny shrimp, I would have just starved...another thing that pissed me off? As we sat there patiently waiting for our food, we noticed all other tables getting bread. I even made questioning eye contact with one employee as he walked away after delivering bread to a newcomer...still no bread. The guy finally brought some out after I asked. THE ROOM: there was TRASH UNDER ONE BED. Not cool. The toiletries were very cute..they were from Anatomicals. WIFI SUCKED...you reconnect every hour and its SUPER SNAIL PACE.. Breakfast bar was awesome. Tasty fruit juices, cereal boxes, different cheeses which you cut as you wish, eggs cooked anywa (scrambled, hardboiled, sunnyside), fruits, smoked salmon..etc The hotel's interior design resembles that of a bar. Dark, reddish hues. Pool tables. Check in counter is also a real alcoholic bar. I liked the designs but I wouldn't stay here again bc the bad outweighs the good by far :(

The rooms are on the smaller side and fairly typical for Europe. You get a free bottle of water and the coolest little package of shampoo, body wash, lotion and soap. They have a gated parking lot and you can have the ticket validated at the front desk. There is an airport shuttle that runs every 30 to 40 minutes starting around 5am or so. Check with the front desk for the exact schedule. The hotel is only a 6 minute cab ride away in good traffic and 15 minutes in bad traffic. So if your flying out and want a close hotel, this hotel fits that need. The bar and lounge area is really mind blowing and peaks all of your senses. It gives off this night club kind of vibe and is really inviting. The bar is open 24/7. The restaurant is open until 10:30pm. They have a gym as well so if you want to pump some iron or get in a run before you hit the bar you can certainly do that here. Internet. The internet system needs to be looked into. It kicks you out every hour and makes you log back in. Very friggin frustrating. Logged in about 10 times tonight between my phone and PC, ugh. Even went to the lobby because I thought it was just in the rooms but it does it there too. Thought about docking a full star for that but I'm gonna hold off for now. This is my first stay here and overall it was enjoyable and very fairly priced. I think the breakfast is a little in the expensive side but that seems to be a common theme in Europe and not just this hotel. Enjoy!

The shuttle is provided free to guests and runs every 30 minutes starting at 4am in the morning. It's an actual bus and not a van. There are racks available for luggage storage. Walking in, it's clean and smells nice. The staff was super efficient and got me checked in within a few minutes of me walking through the door. There is a restaurant on site, but I can't comment as we did not dine there. I had a queen sized bed room and it's enough for 2 people. The room has a fridge and a coffee maker. Though, I didn't try using their coffee maker because I don't know when's the last time it was cleaned out. There's a pretty big safe in the closet. The bathroom has a tub and a shower. Though, the shower itself is a little tight, but manageable. Bed was comfy, but it did get hot during the night and we set the temp all the way down, but that didn't cool the room down enough. Bathroom is big enough and not cramped at all. A couple of caveats is that this place is about 30 minutes away from the city center. You can either walk to the bus stop, take the shuttle back to the airport and take the subway or use Uber. We decided to use Uber as that comes out to about $35 vs, $11 one way using the subway and will probably take at least an hour to get to the city center. The's only 1 restaurant on site and I didn't see anything else in the area. There was no store that I was able to see. There's also public transportation right outside if you happen to miss your shuttle to the airport.

About 5 minutes later, a herd of people started coming in and another check in desk opened up. The lady immediately helped the person that was in front of us. Then, she helped the couple that arrived AFTER us next. I am so mad and turned off by this. Not only did she acknowledge it, when I pointed it out but continued to ignore me! Horrible service In addition to horrible customer service, there's no PM shuttles to the airport even though this was advertised to be close to it. It's definitely not walking distance at all because you have to get on the freeway and take a few exits to get here. Just be mentally prepared to have to order a taxi or Uber in. Shuttles are also not complimentary like other hotels in the area but rather 5 euros per person. Lastly, it's great that the room comes with complimentary stuff in the mini Friday (water and soda), but the beds are subpar and standard. Two twin beds put together as a "superior double bed". If anything, the customer service is the one thing that makes me annoyed the most about.

Finally the driver arrived & it took us 5 minutes to get to the hotel. Our room was a pretty good size, not small compared to what I normally expect for a European hotel. Nice looking contemporary furniture. Our queen or double bed consisted of two twin size beds set next to each other. A tv & mini fridge was in the room. Large size bathroom with a large sink was convenient for our personal items. The closet was pretty large with a sliding door. No iron in the room, instead I had to go down to the 6th floor to iron my husband's shirt. The bed was somewhat comfortable but was able to fall asleep for a few hours after the shower incident. When my husband took a shower he did not encounter any issues. However, when I walked into the shower room, I must have turned the water control the wrong way that the handle broke. It wasn't like anything I've used in the US. Tried fixing but didn't work. When I called the front desk, someone came up right away and tried to troubleshoot it. By this time the water kept pouring out of the shower and it was past 11pm & he couldn't fix it. A lady came in 10 mins later & couldn't fix it either so they turned off the water in the bathroom. Knowing this can't be fixed sooner, they made arrangements for us to use another shower about 3 rooms down from ours. We had to be up by 6 am for an early flight & it was a bit inconvenient for this to happen but they accommodated our needs. Full complimentary breakfast was served in the dining hall & we had several items to choose from: small pancakes, hot food like eggs, sausage, etc, chocolate croissants, toast, bagels, fruits like apple, oranges & bananas, etc. even mini jars of ketchup & jams were available. Overall, it was a good luxury hotel to be in. The staff is friendly & very professional.

My room key worked and any questions I had whether I was in person or over the phone or answered. The room was immaculately cleaned and designed. It had a great feng shui. I got extra towels when I needed them and there was also an option to decline room service to conserve water and energy which is always great for the environment. I'll likely stay here again due to its proximity to the airport.

I would not necessarily return here if I had the need to stay in this area.
