The hotel has the bones of a once beautiful facility. When you walk into the lobby if appears that the one time gorgeous marble floors haven't been washed for decades. The high ceilings in the lobby are missing several ceiling tiles. The elevator had filth on the button panel and up the walls. The hallways hadn't been vacuumed or swept. The room itself had the illusion of clean but when the drapes were pulled back there were cobwebs with insects caught in them. The bathroom has absolutely nothing to assist the handicapped or elderly and dangerous. The IPhone docking station didn't work on one side of the bed and only half of the charging station on the other side of the bed worked. The outlet's were overloaded and some had no outlet covers on them at all. The sink and the shower had hot water but the jet tub; which I paid a higher rate for; didn't have hot water. With all that being said the bed was clean; I inspected it for bed bugs and thankfully there were none; the mattress was comfortable and the hotel was quiet at night. read more

We arrived at the Park Manor Hotel in Clifton Park, NY, after nearly four hours of travel, expecting a safe, clean, and functional environment. Instead, we encountered a series of unacceptable conditions and deeply troubling staff behavior that no guest should ever have to endure. Upon entering our room, we immediately discovered: No running water in the sink, shower, or toilet. No hot water available at all. A single bed, despite our reservation and written confirmation guaranteeing two beds. Two large holes in the wall behind the entrance door. At 4:30 a.m., a mouse crawled through one of the holes, forcing me to stuff the opening with our socks to prevent further intrusion. With only one bed provided, our daughter had to sleep on a chaise. These conditions alone warrant a full refund, compensation, and a formal apology. Yet the hotel's initial response was to offer only a 50% refund, which is both unreasonable and dismissive of the severity of the situation. We were unable to use the toilet, shower, or sink--necessities that any hotel must provide without exception. Unfortunately, the room's physical conditions were only part of the problem. The conduct of the General Manager, Angie Meyer, escalated this experience from disappointing to distressing. When I approached the front desk to ask necessary questions, Angie responded with hostility, raising her hand toward me and stating: "I feel uncomfortable speaking with you." "I'll put everything in writing." "Go back to your room." "I don't have to speak with you." Her demeanor was emotionally volatile, unprofessional, and discriminatory. She continued assisting other guests without issue, yet singled me out with dismissive and aggressive behavior. Her conduct became so alarming that I had no choice but to call 911 for assistance. At no point did I use vulgar language, raise my voice, or behave inappropriately. I sought answers and support during a vulnerable moment while traveling with my nine‑year‑old child. This experience reflects a profound failure in customer care, leadership accountability, and basic hospitality standards. Angie Meyer's behavior does not align with the values any reputable hotel should uphold. She demonstrated neither emotional intelligence nor the temperament required for a public‑facing role. In stark contrast, I want to acknowledge and thank Rowena from HotelTonight, whose professionalism, empathy, and commitment to the customer experience helped us navigate an otherwise horrifying situation. Her advocacy and clarity were the only sources of relief during this ordeal. She exemplifies what true customer care looks like and deserves recognition for her integrity and support. As a long‑time traveler and loyal client, I have never encountered such disregard for guest safety, dignity, and well‑being. This experience will be shared with colleagues, family, friends, and professional networks as I continue to seek a meaningful resolution. DO NOT STAY HERE!! If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. Bed bugs all over the side of my bed. The smoke alarm was burnt out of the wall, as well as no carbon monoxide detector in the room. Not only a health/safety hazard but a violation of fire code. Black mold along the windows and shower. Left in the middle of the night, asking for refund and was only refunded after we threatened to report them to the fire marshal. Another guest that I know called the next day with similar issues and they refused a refund, and when asked for employee's name he hung up. Everything can improve. This place is a dump. Front desk clerk was rude and dismissive about our clogged toilet, mold, low water pressure, lack of parking, holes, peeling paint and cracks in the walls and ceiling. Refrigerator was broken and they couldn't fix toilet so they moved us to a room that was just as bad. The towels were stained and falling apart. Stains on the sheets and covers as well as beat up outdated furniture. The lobby was unusable due to the doors opening right into it allowing sub zero air to blast in. Seven a Bistro https://www.7-bistro.com/ Always friendly service, great options on the menu (they make custom changes), happy hour specials, and they have a great event schedule! Don't forget to come in for your birthday- wings or clams or n the house!!! When we go for a birthday celebration we always get deer off the menu and get drink specials as well!!! I would suggest the Eggplant stack but ask for the Lisa Special- pesto instead of marinara!!! It's absolutely to die for!!! read more

We stayed for 2 nights while we attended a wedding in Saratoga. Since it was the week after Labor Day, and the race track is still active, it was hard to find a reasonable rate anywhere in the vicinity. We found this place for $170/night. Upon arrival we discovered that the only elevator in the building was out of service. We later learned that it has been down for over a month. My wife is handicapped and stairs are an extreme challenge for her. I asked a for a room on the 1st floor, but they have none. The only stairway accessible from the lobby is on one end of the building. Our room, of course, was on the opposite end, so after she climbed the stairs she needed to then walk the entire distance across the property. No one volunteered this information when we booked the room. If we had known, we would have gone elsewhere. Overall, the hotel needs work. The carpets are visibly worn. Wallpaper and room furniture is worn and peeling. The bathroom could been better cleaned. The tub floor was a bit slippery and there are no grab bars to hold if you lose footing. The one positive I will say is that the bed was clean and comfortable. Lastly, when I brought all these things to their attention, the gentleman at the desk failed to look at me and didn't even apologize for our poor experience. I would not recommend Park Manor Hotel in Clifton Park. If you find yourself having to stay here, call ahead to ensure they have repaired the elevator. read more

Where to begin....Look for somewhere else to stay. I'm sure this place was decent many years ago. Do not let the online photos deceive you. This entire hotel is very very dirty. Lord only knows if the hallway carpets have ever been cleaned. The elevator carpet is disgusting!! It's 9pm right now and they are vacuuming the hallway. Terrible customer service...they do not speak to you. Many broken items in our room; lamp, Keurig coffee maker, thermostat, door bar lock, coffee cups. Entry light burnt out. Same for our parents room. They also had a burnt out light in their bathroom. They also have no coffee in their room for their coffee maker. They have a microwave, our room does not. After our room was cleaned today. They took all dirty towels except 1 washcloth and the bath mat. Bath towels were replenished but no new hand or washcloth towels were left. They took the body wash out of the shower but did not replace. No Kleenex in the room. Buffet breakfast that is offered daily is NOTHING. Seriously nada. You have to go place an order of what you want. That is not a breakfast buffet as advertised. Went into the bar the first night. It was empty except for about 8 regulars who were friends with the bartender. All looked at us as were showed up uninvited to their party. Needless to say we left. Coffee in the lobby - No cups. Just a lovely place. It's done up to look Art Deco. The young lady at the front desk was a delight to deal with, very pleasant and personable. Checkin was a breeze. Room was lovely. Large and a good sized bathroom. The room is clean, well decorated and incredibly comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. This just felt more like a well kept boutique hotel vs some of the other garbage out there. I am thoroughly pleased. I'm gonna try the restaurant and will update after an evening of sleep. read more

Fridge didn't work so they brought us a new one.. was broken on the inside and had black mold. Only half a roll of toilet paper in bathroom, no coffee/cups for coffee maker, doilies under glas cups were "used".. Next day.. leave dor a few hours. Come back.. had a bag of returnables that i planned on taking with me.. bag is GONE... BUT Nothing is replaced as far as garbages, toilet paper, towels, sheets. Needless to say... I checked in at the hotel and went to the front desk. First of all, we had to carry all 13 of our bags up 2 flights of stairs because the elevators are broken. Then they gave us a room key and once we got up to the second floor and swiped the key, we immediately saw other people's things and the room was clearly being used. What if someone was in there changing? Gross. Then we go back down and they give us a new room on the third floor so we had to lug all 13 of our bags back up another flight of stairs to the third floor. Once we got to our room we thought it was over, but we turned on the ac and it sounded like a damn lawn mower. It was actually so loud. We turned it off immediately and tried the thermostat and sure enough it was broken. This was our last straw. They gave us a full refund and we checked into another hotel but this is completely unacceptable and terrible service. Would not recommend. read more

No water You are directed to a water machine with little cups Noisy Saturday nights with the bistro having life entertainment that vibrates to the 2nd and 3rd floor No breakfast options Entire crew acts indifferent and preoccupied Phone in room continuously flashed, message waiting. When you call for your messages, you get a rapid busy signal. Really enjoyed my stay at this brand new hotel in Clifton Park. Everything appeared new and very well maintained, rooms and lobby had exceptional amenities. The staff was incredibly informative, friendly, and were very accommodating by providing exceptional service when we made a request or two that we thought might seem unusual. Would certainly recommend this hotel, and personally would love to stay here again, especially to experience the live music, food, and drinks at their bistro. read more

No coffees but decaf in the room. Although they advertise a full breakfast .... There were no napkins, no utensils, two English muffins , three bagels, 10 fruit punches, 2 apples, 3 oranges and a few sugary cereals strewn about.....that's it. I'm not exaggerating. Also the coffee was scarce. More disgusting was the fact that the trash was not being emptied so people were leaving refuse on the tables. I arrived after a long drive to check in at 8:40PM on a regular weekday, and my room wasn't ready, I was told to wait 15 minutes in the lobby, and staff treated it as if this were an everyday thing and offered nothing by way of compensation for the inconvenience. To say the least ... really the only good thing about this hotel that it was inexpensive...check in took a while..only one person working, especially for a busy weekend with a concert and racing happening that weekend. They announced there would be breakfast, the breakfast consisted of cereal with no bowls or spoons..half a gallon of milk just sitting on the counter, bagels on a paper plate, a container that looked to be butter that had been melted, cream cheese also in a plastic container, and no silverware. Definitely not a set up that you would see at a hotel. They had one drink vending machine that had Red Bull and Perrier, no bottled water of any sort. The pool was disgusting, hair floating on the surface of the water, and the water was very cloudy. They said the hotel was renovated in April of 2022..yeah no..maybe the lobby was but that's about it. We stayed 2 nights no one ever came to replenish towels, we had to go search, and our garbage can sat outside our door till we left. They offered room service but I think you had to go to the desk to order and pick up when ready. It was just a weird vibe but as I said at the beginning it was inexpensive. Worst check in hotel experience I've EVER experienced in my life. Girl in the front (think her name is Stephanie) needs to get fired for messing up royally huge, giving an attitude and yelling to an elderly GUEST for no reason, and providing completely inaccurate info and confusion. She told us multiple times we were not charged for the stay even though I showed her MULTIPLE RECEIPTS THAT SAY PAID prior to check in. she was wrong. Just so wrong, and I confirmed with hotels.com and the bank and they said we did already pay. So not sure where she was getting information from. Let's not forget that we had to move hotel rooms 4 times due to the hot tub not working/being dirty. We got so tired of switching rooms constantly and all I wanted to do was lay down after a long day so we asked to just switch to a regular queen room without tub because of the ridiculousness going on. Asked for a partial refund on that because that was the LEAST they could do after alll that bullshit which took 1-2 hours after arriving at the hotel check in and they didn't even provide that. Then when we moved to the regular queen room I thought it was finally a place I can just sit and relax but the bed fell over and became lob-sided after I barely sat on it...how is that even possible. On top of that the front desk lady charged us $125 and $88 hold for incidentals and explained everything poorly to the point it caused major confusion with hotels.com and caused another 3 hours on the phone to figure shit out. I will never be back and I hope no one ever chooses this "hotel" if you can even call it that. I came to the area for medical treatment and this place gave me even more stress and agitation and inhospitality that it wasn't even worth it to stay over. I'd rather spend more money at a holiday inn, La Quinta, or Hampton inn rather than deal with this shitshow. I'll be telling others about my horrid experience here and not to stay here. With all the maintenance issues and horrible management from the hotel everything took us about 5 hours from the moment we checked into the hotel and we had such a sour taste before even getting to our room. read more

Just spent the night....not even sure where to start with this comment! Employees here are not friendly. Had to pull teeth to get a few extra towels....Our room, the sink was clogged, toilet doesn't flush well, came to the top of the rim and then went down....the air conditioner runs every two minutes sometimes shuts right off other times runs for several minutes. Can hear the folks in the next room....the walls are that thin. Now to top it all off, noticed this morning that the blanket we have on the bed is dirty....looks like soda spilled on it and a few other spots that I don't even want to guess what they are. This hotel is horrendous. They had a party in the reception area near the lobby and you can here the music and the base shaking the room violently at 11pm. The hotel (frat house) didn't care that half the floor was complaining and that we had a toddler trying to sleep. Why they put non-party guests right above the reception and the party guests elsewhere throughout the hotel gotta make you wonder. The following morning the general manager was apologetic and promised we'd be refunded and it turns out she LIED. Clifton Park needs to shut down this party house dump. read more

Where to begin? No WIFI. When I asked an employee all they said was "it's working properly" when indeed it wasn't. They have a vending machine in the lobby that contained 2 types of Red Bull and Perrier and one with snacks. There is a coffee and tea station that doesn't look like it's been cleaned in weeks. Breakfast service consisted of bagels, butter that looks like it had melted 5 times over, cream cheese, cereal, no bowls or spoons, a jug of milk just sitting on the counter and a basket of oranges. Apparently they didn't didn't serve breakfast due to an emergency. (Read past reviews). There was a dirty sock on the floor in our room. Clumps of hair floating in the pool that the water was a interesting color. Bathroom tile not clean and the towels were sparse. Decaf coffee only in the room. There was no information in the room about dining (or anything for that matter) or how to order room service or even a menu for the restaurant. On the upside the ice machine was awesome! There is no pool. We booked this hotel solely for the pool. The manager was not helpful or sympathetic and offered no condolences- just blame that we didn't read the fine print that the pool was not listed under amenities. There are MANY photos of the pool and even their google profile says that they have one. If you're looking for a pool or even just kindness - don't go here. read more
