    Stained furniture

This place is absolutely disgusting. We had no towels or shower curtain to start. The guy who brought them smelled so bad. The towels smelled funny. Every piece of furniture was scratched and stained. The ice machine was nasty with mold and dirt. I told the front desk and tried to get a refund and was refused. Do not stay here. If I could give it a zero I would.

    Bed bugs

DO NOT STAY HERE!! If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. Bed bugs all over the side of my bed. The smoke alarm was burnt out of the wall, as well as no carbon monoxide detector in the room. Not only a health/safety hazard but a violation of fire code. Black mold along the windows and shower. Left in the middle of the night, asking for refund and was only refunded after we threatened to report them to the fire marshal. Another guest that I know called the next day with similar issues and they refused a refund, and when asked for employee's name he hung up. Immediately after, we were both requested on social media by a fake account. Disgusting hotel and crazy people running this place. Should be shut down.

Everything can improve. This place is a dump. Front desk clerk was rude and dismissive about our clogged toilet, mold, low water pressure, lack of parking, holes, peeling paint and cracks in the walls and ceiling. Refrigerator was broken and they couldn't fix toilet so they moved us to a room that was just as bad. The towels were stained and falling apart. Stains on the sheets and covers as well as beat up outdated furniture. The lobby was unusable due to the doors opening right into it allowing sub zero air to blast in. If you stay here you're on your own. You have been warned. Pictures are from both rooms.

    Broken coffee cups in room.

Where to begin....Look for somewhere else to stay. I'm sure this place was decent many years ago. Do not let the online photos deceive you. This entire hotel is very very dirty. Lord only knows if the hallway carpets have ever been cleaned. The elevator carpet is disgusting!! It's 9pm right now and they are vacuuming the hallway. Terrible customer service...they do not speak to you. Many broken items in our room; lamp, Keurig coffee maker, thermostat, door bar lock, coffee cups. Entry light burnt out. Same for our parents room. They also had a burnt out light in their bathroom. They also have no coffee in their room for their coffee maker. They have a microwave, our room does not. After our room was cleaned today. They took all dirty towels except 1 washcloth and the bath mat. Bath towels were replenished but no new hand or washcloth towels were left. They took the body wash out of the shower but did not replace. No Kleenex in the room. Buffet breakfast that is offered daily is NOTHING. Seriously nada. You have to go place an order of what you want. That is not a breakfast buffet as advertised. Went into the bar the first night. It was empty except for about 8 regulars who were friends with the bartender. All looked at us as were showed up uninvited to their party. Needless to say we left. Coffee in the lobby - No cups. LOW water pressure. Disappointing all around.

All of the things I have listed. I paid $155 a night for this place.

The furniture was all scratched up and had cup stains, window sill looked like it had black mold, the office chair looked like a dog had attacked it, the toilet flushed twice every single use, toilet paper holder wouldn't hold the roll, the wall paper was peeling off the bathroom wall, tub was disgusting and the shower head was held on to the wall with duct tape.

This place was truly a DUMP. Ran by people who barely speak English, the rooms were dirty and disgusting, the hotel fraudulently charged me for "hotel facility surcharge fees" but could not explain what they were for. They are scammers , their staff live there in the rooms, front desk people are the housekeepers , they also rent out trailers from the parking lot, it's really creepy, weird and sketchy. They are SCAMMERS and steal from people and give you a garbage hotel experience. Stay somewhere else.

Hotel was clean and the staff was kind. The fun was small but the pool was very nice. The location was very convenient.

When we arrived we checked in and they sent us back to our room which was in the back of the building so they had us drive around to the other side and go in through the back door of the building. When we got into the building and got into our room we noticed we were on the ground floor and there were sliding glass doors that opened up to the outside and our car was right outside cuz we were on the bottom floor we were able to walk in and out of our room without having to go through the hotel room which made it a lot easier to load and unload our vehicle. The hotel room itself was very spacious and it was nice it wasn't huge but it was nice it was a nice size room for just the two of us the bathroom was also a good size as well and the Jet tub that was there was beautiful at least to me anyway and served it's purpose. The bed was very nice and was comfortable to sleep on and the chairs were also very comfortable as well. I gave this hotel a four-star rating because of the fact that the pool and hot tub area were out of order because they were working on them and they always still charge full price even though all the amenities are not working so you still pay even though you are not receiving the full services of the hotel. The breakfast area was very nice too it's its own little room with a bunch of food coffee and drinks and it's a nice little breakfast. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in the area and would like a nice place to rest. I would also recommend that you try out the various restaurants in the area there was two that we went to and they were very delicious check out other reviews that I had done to see my thoughts about those places as well. Thank you so much for listening!

The owners of this Best Western should be ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES!…read more We booked the room for Thurs. night. Graduations were going on so getting a room anywhere was difficult. The reviews and rating didn't seem too bad so we weren't expecting this many issues. As soon as we opened the door the smell hit us. Cigarettes, body odor, a dank moldy smell, and food. The carpet was filthy. The bathroom was filthy with urine and pubic hairs all over the floor. MY SHOES STUCK TO THE BATHROOM FLOOR. THE BED WAS MADE DIRTY. There were disgusting stains on the bedskirt and hairs on the pillows. Broken furniture, dusty lamps with wiring and cords poorly stretched and exposed. Filthy fridge and microwave. A sticky film on the television. Did not even touch the remote. Went downstairs to see if there was a different room available and had to wait while two separate guests chewed out the poor front desk guy for the same reasons we were needing a different room! I've worked in hotels for years. I know that you have to keep up with housekeeping hiring and FIRINGS! Hotels are not "at the mercy of their housekeeping staff" if they pay fair wages and hire good people. This room and the overall condition of the hotel is a direct result of HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. Message to management: Get out of the hotel business because this is BEYOND FAILURE. When your front desk agent gives you a nearly empty can of room deodorizer there is a MAJOR PROBLEM. We took our chances and resigned to sleeping in our vehicle and informed the agent we could not stay in that room. Fortunately he helped us with a refund (which has yet to show up). If we do not see the refund in our account soon we will be pursuing further action because this room was hazardous to health and safety. We couldn't even stay five mins in that room and were lucky to get one elsewhere. The front desk agent was embarrassed and really maintained a professional demeanor while dealing with multiple complaints. This hotel would be lucky to keep him but something tells me he will find a better employer and better working conditions. Additional information: No elevator (not handicap friendly). New pool, old everything else. Parking lot damage (potholes). Key fobs on exterior entrances don't always work.

The lobby has simple decorations but eye catching , the wall design behind the register goes with what the city is famous for...Saratoga race and horses. We had an easy check in process. Pleased with their hot breakfast offer, they changed the meat option daily during our long weekend stay. 2. Visibly dirty and with hair on it! Went down to the front desk to ask for new towels -- no apology; and then I had to wait for staff to get new ones and take them up myself. There is an incessant clicking in the wall that comes and goes apparently without reason or cause. The bathroom vent did not work but did manage to have what appeared to be a decades' worth of lint in it. The pullout sofa bed could double as a torture device. Housekeeping did not clean our room but did take the fresh towels I had procured for my family -- and did not replace them with new ones. Breakfast was a joke. Coffee was out both mornings, they couldn't even keep the water stocked (...it's water!! How hard could it be?!), food regularly running out. Whenever we sought out staff to ask for something, nobody was to be found. And forget about calling the front desk -- the phone was out. Never again, La Quinta. Never.

THE GOOD: Overall, Housekeeping does an excellent job- bathroom was spotless and the public spaces are clean and well maintained. WHY DID THEY LOSE A STAR? Linens. My personal pet peeve. Even clean linens will appear "slept-in" if they are wrinkled. And they were very wrinkled. Pillowcases barely covered the pillows and the comforter was unceremoniously pushed under. From my experience, wrinkled linens m at be a reflection of laundry room staffing or equipment challenges. THE UGLY: I can dismiss an odd fit-bunny, but the utmost care and attention MUST be made to the bed. Crisp corners and pristine pillowcases make the difference between 4 stars and five. BREAKFAST: Clean space, adequate choice, but this morning my craving for bacon was dashed- TWO sausage products, Pattie's sad, gray spheres, and links swimming in their own grease, and NO bacon as advertised on the website. Lost half of a star, but quickly gained it back for cleanliness. Overall this IHG hotel is a solid choice.

We requested a quiet room away from the highway after seeing other Yelpers complain of highway noise. The room was fairly clean. We just noticed a few stray hairs from previous guests and there was a stain on the ottoman that accompanied the in room sofa. The bed linen was clean and comfortable although I did need to use the additional blanket provided in the closet because the comforter was rather light. There was a decent fridge and microwave in the room as well as the aforementioned sofa and ottoman and a desk so this would be fine if you needed to do some work. There was a tv with the option to use your Netflix account, which was welcome. My main complaint here is that there was absolutely NO COFFEE available to us on our first night. The coffee maker in our room was broken and came with no-name coffee pods (meaning, not Green Mountain or Nespresso or another decent brand). Other hotels where we have stayed either have a free breakfast with coffee, or at least complimentary coffee in the lobby. This hotel does not offer free breakfast (which we knew and is fine) but I was appalled that there was no complimentary coffee in the lobby- just an extremely long line to pay for coffee. We got a great rate here through the Hotel Tonight app making this the most affordable spot for our brief stay in the area. However, I am not sure I would choose this hotel again if other similar options were available. It is definitely not at the level of other Courtyard Marriotts where were have stayed in the US. If you're used to typical Courtyards, lower your expectations a bit if you book here.
