There aren't rooms that over look the falls because you'll have to go to Canada for that but you have the closest walk from here to the 'Merica side. The parking lot is free and only for guests of the hotel. This is a nice touch as hotels in most major cities are charging 40.00 per night to park(I just spent 50 per night in Philly for this a few days prior). The front service desk was extremely helpful with maps and recommendations. The rooms were clean and there is a gift shop on the premises as well. The breakfast buffet was also free but it wasn't the greatest but again free. I'd definitely say here again if I was in Niagara Falls.

It had not been cleaned. The stopper in the sink was broken. refrigerator was dirty. The communal microwave on the first floor looked like it came from a college dorm room. We were one of the first to get to the breakfast area and there was no syrup there was no juice. The milk was room temperature. was a nightmare. There was one person working the desk and 30 people in line. Not her fault just bad staffing. The food truck area and back of the hotel was filthy. Trash cans, overflowing trash everywhere filthy tables. I also found dark hair on the blanket that was not ours. Overall housekeeping needs to do a better job.

The accommodations are kept clean, and the king size bed was firm and comfortable. Every morning they serve a good hearty "breakfast-in-bed" delivered to your room at whatever time you choose the night before. Between 7am to 10am. The hotel is very close to the overcrowded Clifton Hill area which is home to an amusement park atmosphere. The hotel is also within good walking distance to the Falls, about a 20 -30 minutes walk along the promenade on the Niagara River. However, it's quiet at the hotel at all hours thankfully. Sterling Inn appears to be one of the better hotel options in the immediate touristy area. *There is a AG Restaurant on premises , as well as Spa for your pleasure.* Thank you for reading. There is a restaurant below the inn which was fabulous. Staff were welcoming and warm. Being from out of the country I had numerous questions while I was there and the staff I met were patient and helpful. The room was modern, clean, and neat. I rarely heard any of my neighbors or outside noise. The bed was comfy, water pressure in the shower was good, and the AC worked properly. Breakfast in bed is delivered each morning if you request it. It was a lot of food for me so I opted out the rest of my trip.

I am a long-time Choice Privileges member and was able to get a great deal for two nights using Points-Plus-Cash, just $68 total out of pocket for both nights! This hotel is located just off of the I-190, behind the movie theater and Home Depot plaza. It seems to be a newer'ish build. One issue with the lobby, for me anyway--IT STINKS. LIKE VANILLA CUPCAKE PERFUME IS PUNCHING YOU IN THE FACE. REPEATEDLY. Most people probably enjoy this aroma, but for someone who is sensitive to fragrance, I got out of the lobby as fast as I could, and was glad I brought my migraine medicine just in case. I would recommend toning down the vanilla smell, some, sure, but this was WAY too much. We had a King standard suite. It was oddly a MASSIVE room! There was TONS of space, so much so they should really add a small table and couple chairs to the room, as it could easily fit it. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. The room also had a fridge and microwave, all clean and in working order. The hotel has a small indoor saltwater heated pool. The pool stays open until 11pm. That was nice as many hotels close up pools too early. We went down late Saturday and had the pool to ourselves for an evening swim. It was nicely warm and pleasantly quiet. One thing that wasn't quiet though--the rest of the hotel. One issue is the walls of our room were too thin. There was a youth hockey team dominating the hotel this weekend. Yes, they were loud, but even so the walls didn't seem to buffer much of anything. And these families could care less about any other guests, as they let hoards of kids rampage up and down the halls all hours of the day and night, and the room's closed door let a lot of noise in that way too. We have kids, I get they are loud, but never in a million years in all of our travels did we or would we ever let them just screaming-storm the halls. AND we even saw some adult men, either dads or coaches, wrestling with kids and banging on the walls in the hallways. Some moments of this? Fine. But hours on end? Very poor parenting IMHO, but I digress. Just a warning that if you stay here they seem to accommodate sports team families, and if they are rowdy, you will hear it. Had it not been for them, and the pungent-vanilla-chemical-fragrance smell in the lobby, our stay would have been entirely enjoyable. But due to the ruckus, I am docking a star for too thin walls and the staff didn't seem to care about the chaos throughout the whole hotel that weekend. But if we get another good deal for a future weekend getaway, I would roll the dice and stay here again.

The cabinet holding the refrigerator and microwave is sagging and looks like it is about to collapse. Trash on the floor and hair in the tub. They place a flat sheet over the comforter to hide the stains, they are actually covering dirty comforter instead of cleaning them. The beds are also too small for the frames so you cut up your shins as you walk around the beds. The people working the desk are no help. We asked for sheets and pillows and we were ignored until our second trip to the front counter. We asked them to clean the room since it was not cleaned upon arrival. They said someone would be up after the time we gave them that we would be leaving. Instead, they sent someone up immediately to incessantly knock on the door until I had to wake up from a nap after driving for 7 hours. They also had music blasting from a wedding until 10:38PM so no chance of going to sleep if you need to be up early. And to top it off, no parking spots during the wedding because they do not enforce their pay to park in the lot policy. I counted 15 car on my short walk to the door with no pass. Why am I paying for parking and people attending a wedding (Not paying for a room) are getting a free parking space?

But be forewarned: there are two Marriott-branded hotels located almost next door to each other another -- the other is directly across the street. I saw one couple confused about their booking. They were at the wrong hotel. It appears the the hotel most people are seeking when they book the "best view" is usually the Niagara Falls Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa at 6740 Fallsview Boulevard. The nearby Niagara Falls Marriott on the Falls at 6755 Fallsview Boulevard is a separate property. I was very pleased with the Fallsview Hotel. Unlike many hotels that advertise a falls view but have only a partial glimpse, the hotel's location provides a sweeping panorama of the falls. Most rooms seem to have a falls view. Higher-floor rooms offer an almost cinematic perspective, especially during the nightly illumination show and when fireworks are scheduled (nightly at 10 p.m. after May -- those poor gulls and their babies!). The facilities are extensive. The hotel features the recently renovated Burning Springs Spa and Thermal Pools, a fitness center, indoor pool that is sadly less that 5 feet at the deepest point, direct access to the Fallsview tourist district and convenient connections to nearby attractions. But spa access is not included in the stay-- such a disappointment. Generally, the property feels more like a destination than a standard convention hotel, with many public spaces oriented toward the falls. That includes and onsite Starbucks and Mortons steakhouse, plus a gift shop with a massive assortment of items: clothing, hats, bathing suits and goggles (even for the kids), maple syrup treats, medicine and beverages, etc. The biggest surprise for many guests is parking. Valet parking is convenient but expensive, currently around $80 per day, while self-parking is approximately $50-60 per day and located off-site rather than directly beneath the hotel. Valet service may be worthwhile because the self-parking lot requires about a 5-minute walk and the hotel arrival area can become crowded during peak times Overall, the staff was great -- they even sent up a red velvet cake for our anniversary! And the king suite (23rd floor) was sizable and comfortable, with a jet spa in the room looking directly toward the falls. The bed and pillows were also comfy. They also have two seats right in front of the windows with spectacular views. But there were so many bugs -- dozens and dozens gathered on the exterior glass -- after dark, we opted to keep the lights off. Not a concern, though. I would definitely stay here again.

The spa is nice, offering a relaxing atmosphere. There is a beautiful Falls view in upper level superior rooms. Hotel Pool stay open to 11 at night. This hotel is close to many food spots, which are walking distance. They have good food at the buffet too in hotel. Cons Defintely not four star as advertised. More like a three star. Upon arrival, there's no welcome drink or immediate help; you have to handle everything yourself with lugguage. which can be hard for those who need extra assistance. They do have a bell hop but very limited . Upon arrival and departure there was one person. The carpet area in lobby and rooms need shampooing badly. Rooms have beautiful views on upper levels , but outdated. The front desk service was mixed; one staff member was excellent, but another rushed me, which is not acceptable when guests are paying their money. The spa charges an additional fee to use Oasis pools/ Jacuzzi; which is unusual for most spas, since they typically include it with the massage services. This additional fee still feels like a drawback. FYI -There are not actually pools in the spa area just jacuzzi and cold plunge, sauna etc. While the pool staff was great, with Kevin standing out, and Beth at the spa being exceptional the pool area is outdated. The ceiling is peeling and looks like a YMCA pool area. In addition , my massage at spa was okay. But no timer was used to ensure guest are receiving their full time paid for. I know I did not receive full time. All spas I have visited , use a timer to make sure you get your full time.

I've never smoked, so I notice cigarette smells easily, and wasn't bothered by it in our room. It *did* reek of cigarette in the lobby and around the casino however. Unpleasant. The bathroom was amazing with a large shower. Very spacious. Room key was needed to access the elevator and your floor, which was great (*cough* The canadian side Doubletree needs this right now *cough*) The US side of Niagara Falls is super sketchy and just for that I wouldn't be in a hurry to return - I also have no interest in casinos so there's not much for me to do here. From a hotel perspective, Seneca Niagara has the potential of being a five star destination. This…read moreis our third time staying at this hotel, and things have certainly gotten better since they first opened, but they have not yet achieved the excellence that I expected. The physical structure is very well designed. The hallways and rooms are magnificent. Heavy doors, cash safe in the room, adequate closet space, tastefully decorated with a Native American theme that pays homage to the elements of nature. The building materials used are such that you don't hear noise from adjacent rooms. There is plenty of parking and an inexpensive valet service if you don't care to look for your own space. The front desk staff are well trained and helpful and efficient. Their WiFi is fast with sufficient bandwidth that I was able to get some work done, sending and receiving large files without a problem. The rooms are nicely climate controlled, the shower is spacious with immediate hot water and the pressure is very good. The bed is comfortable, with good quality linens and blankets and firm mattresses. The housekeeping staff are thorough. The elevators move efficiently. They have tight security throughout the premises. All of the above is what they do right. I tried for two days to book a foot massage at the spa. No one answers that extension, so I'm not even sure if their spa has anyone assigned to answer the phones. The front desk - which also doesn't answer their phones so I had to physically go to the lobby - told me to just keep trying which I did without success. One of the reasons we booked at this hotel was because the website talks about their massages. Disappointing. There was no working electrical outlet next to the bed. The outlet that was part of the working lamp was dead. I had to pull my mattress away from the wall to find a working wall socket. There are electrical outlets over by the desk. The restaurants associated with this hotel are just fine. Three Sisters in the lobby has a very nice Buffet breakfast with excellent sausage. Everything else on that buffet is more than adequate. The wait staff do their best to keep your coffee cups filled and to bring you your check and even if things take a little longer than one would expect, we have no complaints about Three Sisters. The Western Door is a wonderful restaurant and we come here frequently and independently of the casino or the hotel for fine meals and properly mixed drinks. There are many little things that this beautiful hotel could do and should do to earn a fourth or fifth star, but perhaps their occupancy rate satisfies their balance sheet so they have no motivation to bring it to the next level.
