    Delicious breakfast!
    Kortney B.

First time staying at a Bed and Breakfast, and we loved it! First off, the home is very beautiful and welcoming inside and out. A Victorian beauty from the 1870's. We were welcomed upon arrival by the personable John - very sweet and knowledgeable about the area. Our room was gorgeous - bright and sunny, very open and spacious. The pillows were super comfortable, and we slept great every night. Maybe we slept so great because we wanted the morning to come quickly. You know, because of breakfast! Bethany, the chef, was just as welcoming and accommodating as John. Each morning she made us delicious eggs benedict or banana bread french toast or omelets. Delish! Do not forget to try to potatoes. They were my favorite! If you're looking for a place to stay near the falls, this would be the place. It's a little bit of a walk to the falls, but the WEGO bus stop is a few steps away. The hosts were very accommodating, even bringing us ice wheneautiful we needed it last minute. This is one of the most beautiful Bn'Bs in the area!

    Buckingham room

We stayed here over this last weekend and had a wonderful time! The owner, Joyce, was very pleasant and accommodating. Upon arrival, she greeted us with cold water bottles, showed us the dining room, our room and gave us keys. I will say I was surprised going into our room, as it wasn't what I booked online. I had booked Kensington and I think we had Buckingham, which was fine but our bathroom was very small compared to the other room. That's really the only negative I have to say about our stay - our bathroom was the size of a trailer or camper, not exaggerating. Our bedroom was comfortable with the additional air conditioner unit on the wall as we had a room full of windows and it was pretty hot the first day. I loved that there was coffee & tea available for an afternoon pick me up. The house is beautifully decorated and comfortable. When we woke up in the morning, we went downstairs for breakfast and Joyce was beyond accommodating to my dairy allergy. She had the cook make me scrambled eggs and Canadian bacon to order. There was fruit and pastries available as well. They made eggs Benedict for my fiancé and he said they were delicious. If I travel to Niagara Falls again, I will definitely stay here, as it's close to the falls, there's parking on property and the hospitality was memorable.

An Amazing Stay at Sterling Inn & Spa!…read more Our stay at Sterling Inn & Spa in Niagara Falls was simply amazing! This chic boutique-style hotel was everything we could have hoped for. From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely immaculate--warm, attentive, and exceptional from start to finish. Our room was huge, beautifully comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. One of the best parts was the location. The hotel is conveniently close to everything in the Niagara Falls visitor area, and we were able to walk from the hotel to Niagara Falls, which made our trip even more enjoyable. We truly loved our experience and would highly recommend Sterling Inn & Spa to anyone visiting Niagara Falls. In fact, we're already planning our second trip back! Simply put: beautiful hotel, phenomenal service, amazing location, and an unforgettable stay. 10/10!

The accommodations are kept clean, and the king size bed was firm and comfortable. Every morning they serve a good hearty "breakfast-in-bed" delivered to your room at whatever time you choose the night before. Between 7am to 10am. The hotel is very close to the overcrowded Clifton Hill area which is home to an amusement park atmosphere. The hotel is also within good walking distance to the Falls, about a 20 -30 minutes walk along the promenade on the Niagara River. However, it's quiet at the hotel at all hours thankfully. Sterling Inn appears to be one of the better hotel options in the immediate touristy area. *There is a AG Restaurant on premises , as well as Spa for your pleasure.* Thank you for reading. Have a good day!

There is always room for improvement - ALWAYS, but I think we had a memorable time and would come back for sure! Read more for details... Our first night, we checked into the Dover. This room is your basic hotel room with a queen size bed, 2 nightstands, a sitting chair and side table plus a mini fridge and coffee maker. The bathroom was my favorite feature with the long jetted tub! The tiling was done very nicely, especially the accents in the shower / tub. I took a nice, long, hot bath that night. So good! Dinner that night was delicious. Photos included of the ribeye steak that was ordered medium. It was medium with a few medium-well parts on the edges. One bite was medium-medium-rare which my hubby actually loved. He ordered medium so that I will try a bite or two. I enjoyed the med-well pieces. I think it was the first time that we had a steak cooked to three different temps. . . but, we enjoyed it nonetheless! Breakfast was great. The first morning, we ordered two entrees and sides with coffee which was all included with our breakfast tickets minus one side. We didn't mind paying for the extra side as it allowed us to add a tip to our server. She was amazing! The next morning, however, our server said that the breakfast tickets did not include any sides at all. We ordered our entrees and drinks. Hubby got coffee, as usual. I asked for the tea again - hot tea, please. Our server arrived with a cup of Lipton tea. Oh no. Both times I asked for hot tea, the servers brought out hot water, a tea cup, and box of tea bags for me to choose from. Lipton was never an option, so I was quite disappointed in that. My husband kindly mentioned this and that I'd prefer an herbal tea, if they had any available. The server explained and then brought out a new cup with hot water and allowed me to choose my tea bag from the wooden box. Whew. Now I know to ask for the tea box and/or an herbal tea. lol I sat at the bar once waiting for my hubby. I had a nice conversation with the bartender and learned a lot about the area. I had asked about the cool looking center next door which was obviously closed and abandoned. Such a shame. Looked like a place my son would have loved to visit! Proximity to the Falls is the best part of the Red Coach Inn. I liked that we had a great view for every meal in their restaurant. My hubby and I agreed that if we come back to Niagara Falls, we would stay and dine here again. Memories of a lifetime were made here.

It's intimate, cozy, and unmistakably local. No corporate vibe, no cookie-cutter décor -- just a beautiful historic space that feels personal and thoughtfully preserved. It's the kind of place where you want to linger over dinner and cocktails and actually enjoy the atmosphere. If you're visiting to see the falls, this should absolutely be part of your plans. It fits the setting perfectly and offers a dining experience that feels authentic to the area. Between the history, the ambiance, and the overall experience, it's more than just a meal -- it's part of the visit. Definitely worth going out of your way for.

It definitely feels like a hidden gem but more people need to know about it! After searching the area for a possible hotel to stay at (and being disappointed with the results), I chanced upon The Butler House and decided to book the Regatta room for a short stay on their website. Before I arrived, the hosts Jaime and Dan reached out to verify any dietary restrictions and anything they could do to make the stay more comfortable. On the day of my first night, they also checked in on my ETA and gave me instructions for late check in which was very helpful. It's located in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. This place was made to feel like a home away from home. It felt like I was visiting a friend's house. The decor was super cozy and well maintained. Everything on the first floor was so pretty to look at, from the foyer, front porch, first floor bathroom, dining room, and front porch. In the foyer, there were snacks, fruits, coffee pods and tea bags. There was also a piano to test your musical skills if you knowhow to play. I enjoyed my time swinging on the front porch's giant swing and feeling the evening breeze as I took in how peaceful the neighborhood was. The rooms were all located on the 2nd floor of the house and come with pin pad locks which was convenient. The Regatta room was huge and also came with a sun room that had two plush couches and white curtains. It felt like the perfect place to curl up with a nice book while sipping on some hot tea. There was also a heating lamp in case it gets cold. The sun room was also the only place with USB chargers which I wish the other outlets inside the bedroom had too. Everything about the room was super clean and well kept! The bathroom was neatly decorated and there was plenty of space inside to layout my skincare bottles. There were also small hand towels, hand soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. I really appreciated that they used regular brands like Olay and Pantene (I could tell by the smell because I use them at home too!). In the bathroom there were 4 switches (2 for lights, 1 for bathroom exhaust and the last one turned out to be for hot water which I had to figure out as I'm not used to turning on the heater like that or at all). The pressure of the water was fantastic though it was a bit small inside the shower space. They also had a lovely large bath towel and the bath robe was the cherry on top (I might get one myself). The bed was big enough for me and it was such a nice feeling to sink into a plush and soft bed after a nice hot shower. The TV had access to Disney+ shows which was nice. There was also an AC unit on the wall. I liked that all the room's light switches were right by the bed so that I could make the room as cozy as I wanted it to be. Breakfast was served at 8:30am sharp in the dining room. Tea, apple cider, orange juice and coffee were offered. The first course was Taiwanese scallion pancakes with egg and sausage on the side. It felt like a taste of home for me and an unexpected surprise in Niagara Falls. I would've liked ketchup but there was only sriracha and soy sauce. It was such a large portion I barely had space for the second course. The second course was a giant plate of blueberry crumble with whipped cream. It was quite sweet and most of the table was too full to clear their plates too. They really meant it when they mentioned that guests often don't need to eat lunch after having breakfast here! It definitely fueled me up while I was wandering Goat Island! Butler House has set the bar high in terms of any future bed and breakfast locations I might stay at!

I had to call the emergency number and was told another guest must have been smoking in their room and seemed upset that he was woken up . The next morning I asked about the situation at the front desk and got the same story and was told alarms were set off throughout the entire hotel which I knew was untrue. I asked four other couples, two of which had rooms on both side of mine, and only one couple heard the alarm. It was apparent the couple who were awaken by the alarms were not happy. I explained what I was told and they insisted they were not smoking. We all agreed it was not likely someone was smoking at 12:45pm and 4:00 in the morning. My husband also saw a man taking the fire extinguishers out of building when we checked out. What is frustrating is, we got no sleep because the red light kept flashing every 8 seconds, we were lied to that alarms went off throughout the hotel, they took no responsibility, and gave us zero compensation. We spent a lot on that hotel room and expected better customer service. My husband worked maintenance in a hospital for 36 years and feels it was a case of not inspecting the batteries or filters of the alarms because he's is well aware they sound about every 3 hours if not addressed. As a daughter, sister and aunt of firefighters, I am also aware of the consequences of not attending to smoke detectors in a timely manner. This had a ripple affect as we slept in later and had quite a drive to our next stop. Thus, losing time at our next city. Very frustrating and disappointing!
