We have experienced a few hiccups with rodents, and she has taken care of it immediately; we lost power, and she had it fixed within 24 hours. She is always available and willing to help. I have increased my storage size two times since she's been there. She is always open and ready to help. The only con that I can tell you about this organization is that New Smyrna Beach's location does not belong to the Chamber of Commerce. We are a small community. We expect all our businesses to grow and be part of our chamber. i usually only use Chamber related business when i can. I would recommend the storage facility because the employees there make you feel like you are appreciated and heard and that your belongings are important.

Every time we go to check on the storage unit the air conditioning is not working. We have reported it to management several times and each time they have said it would be fixed. I have sent emails to the facility as well as corporate with no response. At $378.00 a month you would think someone would respond. Stay away from this facility.

I called CubeSmart in Edgewater, FL and was quoted over the phone $76 per month for a 5' X 5' climate controlled storage unit. The next day I visited site to inspect unit and I was quoted $79 for same unit. I verbally agreed and made an appointment to sign a lease and move in on 8/26 at Noon. I loaded up vehicle and went to the site office. The same Assistant Manager, an Hispanic male in his early 40's met me again but this time he changed the price to $87 for the exact same unit plus mandatory insurance. So now he wanted over $100 for the unit. I haven't signed a lease yet nor moved in. I objected asking for the quoted price. I also checked that day the current advertised price for the same unit on my iPhone. This locations online quoted price on 8/26 was $76. They would not honor their original quote we agreed too or the online quoted price. I told the assistant Manger he was being dishonest and deceitful. He got very rude, hostile and nasty and told me to get out of the office. I was just asking for honesty and courtesy. This place is a scam and a ripoff. StAy away! I would not even give this place one star. Be warned. These guys are con artist.

He followed up several times to make sure the facility was up to my expectations. It absolutely was! I would still be renting the space except our circumstances changed, but would definitely go back if/when we need that size of unit again. My storage was flooded during hurricane Ian. I had just paid my storage rent when that happened…read more That payment included "insurance" by a third party. Ian came destroyed, and left us under water. I lost 75% of my valuables not because direct flooding, but due to mold as I was unable to go into my storage for three weeks to check for damages. I could've saved soo many things. When I finally was able to check my storage and assess damages they gave me the "insurance" information to give them a call. Found out the insurance covered water damages but no as a result of flooding (soo convenient). So on top of me losing my stuff, the insurance not paying anything, CubeSmart charged me for that month (that I wasn't able to get in my unit) making my Nov payment a crazy $782. After calling the storage company, and letting them know my situation they gave me until yesterday (Tuesday 29th) to vacate the unit. I ask them for a couple of more days bc I needed a new storage, a truck, men power, time and money, but the customer service manager said she was unable to grant me not even an additional, day and to grab whatever was important to me. What she didn't understood was that everything that was there was important to me, but i wasn't going to able to take it all. So once again I'm at loss.
