THEY WILL NOT REVIEW THEY'RE ON SECURITY VIDEO OR EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR LAST ACCESS OF GATE NOR WILL THEY CHECK THE CALLS THEY SUPPOSEDLY MONITOR FOR QUALITY ASSURANCE TO PROVE THE CUSTOMER IS TELLING THE TRUTH!!! OR TO PROVE MULTIPLE CALLS WERE MADE!!! I requested a climate control unit FROM THE START I WAS TOLD THIS UNIT WAS CLIMATE CONTROL which I did not get. I reported a LIVE RAT crawling on my furniture in the unit or perhaps it was a large mouse I wasn't going to ask it.I called Noelle 3 weeks before moving ..then again 2 weeks before moving .then 1 week before moving the day of moving and the day after..no follow up call was made to let me know if the problem had been resolved...I saw no traps I left 12 message spoke with Noelle and Courtney to tell them my intent to move out on June 29th three weeks prior to moving . I have not accessed property since june 29th yet they have not called sent a bill left a message nothing I even had Miriam try to call ftom old kings road public storage to confirm with no response to her call..to let them know I moved out..MY HUSBAND IS DYING!!!..I took photos of unit that it was clean when I left to which they said I was still occupying it August 9th? Because boxes were in it?? so then I said to Yolanda you can check gate codes or security video to verify I had todds moving company there that day DOES THAT NOT SAY IM MOVING OUT TOO,? Then Yolanda said we'll then you left trash in it ? Either im not movedbout or trash was left in it so your going to charge me 2 months rent for trash i didnt eave in it with no courtesy call to say hey you left trash in the unit? None of it makes any sense.THEY ARE NOT SENIOR CITIZEN FRIENDLY! You better have a lawyer ,A notary , and maybe 4 witnesses present when dealing with these dishonest price gouging dismissive people..because they will not respond will to your calls or return calls I have my phone records .They are not honest.I paid begrudgingly because I don't want to have bad credit and thought I'd be able to speak someone. I have never dealt with such unprofessional people in my life they have some nerve. Again take witnesses with you and don't break your phone or delete photos of your clean unit leaving because they will continue to bill your credit card the reason the only reason they didnt do this to me is I had to replace mine AGAIN TAKE SEVERAL WITNESSES WHEN MOVING OUT! I went to the site August 23rd 2024 to slip a handwritten note under the door in a attempt to contact the manager I was on all fours trying to slip note under the door on Friday as Yolanda was exiting around 3pm she said she call Josh the manager and give him the note which contained my phone number after I showed yolanda a live video feed of my husband gasping for air from his hospital bed..No phone calls have been received to address my issues.Im taking down a photo of my husband I left on this site Public storage on Old Kings Road in Daytona Beach is Superior with Human contacts and have treated me kind. They have a superior model of how to treat seniors and have a clean well run facility. They either answer the phone or call immediately or back within minutes

I had a large unit for only about 100 bucks a month. At the time, no additional insurance was required. This place isn't climate controlled or anything like that, so it's a good idea to cover up your things so they won't get moldy. The owners are pretty friendly... there is plenty of parking and was overall a pretty good experience. Would recommend for anyone beachside looking to store an extra few things.

You obviously have to pay for your storage unit every month, but they will work with you if needed. They aren't trying to get rid of your stuff or throw you out the second the 1st of the month passes like the bigger storage companies do. It is located in the Ormond be the Sea area, so it is very convenient if you live there. It is a bit difficult to get a unit because it is so convenient, but they will put you on a list & let you know if one becomes available. That's what I had to do. The building is not climate controlled, but it is under shopping & restaurants, so it doesn't get as bad as you'd think in the heat of summer. They also turn on a humidifier when it's needed. I haven't had any issues with my things being close to the ocean climate. No melting, no rust & no mold. There is a bathroom available for you to use. They have dollies & a hand truck if you need to borrow them. You can also call ahead & they will open your main door for you before you get there if you don't wish to go in the office when you get there. Which is what I always do.

They were priced in the middle of…read morethe 5 quotes I received but I liked the presidents (Eric) attitude and delivery of information. When the move happened the actual moved were very nice and respectful and did a good job. Unfortunately, Eric under estimated the size of the truck needed. One the day of the move the truck was filled but there was a lot of stuff still in the garage. The movers left it but Eric (the president )said he will send another truck to get it. What he did was bring his pick up truck over to load things up. I obviously wasn't at the Jacksonville home so didn't see what was left and as it turns out it was a lot. I have traveled back to Jacksonville 23 times to load up what was not moved but unfortunately I still have one item at the house that I cannot move. Last, the ONLY items damaged or broker were by the president. He showed up late to my house on the Friday afternoon of my move. He was obviously unset that he had to do the actual moving of items and was very disrespectful. He didnt realize I was in the garage when he dropped a cabinet onto a box of breakable items. He went to just leave it but then I walked over ... not even an apoligy!!! So what would I say? Make sure they move everything and if they don't and say they will send another truck, you need to leave someone behind to make sure they mover everything. Also, if the president says he will be helping with the move be ready to have items broken!! I am only giving them a 2 because the actual day labor guys were really good!

I will definitely be recommending this PODS franchise in particular. Lamont ended up switching up the PODS and turning one around for best mover access and took it in stride. He was also very respectful of my plants and landscaping, which butted up to the narrow drive, unlike a previous operator from another PODS business who ran over my $60 metal hose that had been moved 2 feet off what I thought was the operative area. We were able to reserve a 10x10 unit with drive up access for an affordable price. Once the unit was available, I was reached out to via phone to get everything set up. The next day I was able to start moving items in. Accessing the unit was very easy and moving our items in was even easier. I highly recommend the Storage facility for anyone in the area. They even reached out afterwards to ensure we didn't have any issues.
