There are also some small stores, a bank and GameStop, along with places to eat, so you could get a lot done here if you want. I used to come here often when I lived nearby and this shopping center wasn't built up as much as it is now. I think it's great that they really improved this area.

Sometime in the early 2000's, they did a major facelift and created today's Bridgeside Shopping Center. The anchor is a Nobhill Foods. What's an anchor store? An anchor store attracts customers to the shopping center. Personally, I don't shop at Nobhill. I come here to go to Baskin-Robbins, The Cheese Steak Shop, WingStop or Ohana Hawaiian BBQ. I walked in and went straight to the body care/skin care section on the right. There was a large stock of lotions, but not so much the face roller and ice roller. I got the last of each. There weren't many cashiers when i got to the line, but they called another associate to the register and she was getting through the line fast. I was in line for no more than 5 minutes with about 7 customers ahead of me. It was an average experience, hence the 3 stars.

Charming, eclectic, beautiful, and always full of unexpected treasures. I always find something special here: beautiful soaps and oils, fun nostalgic T-shirts, and the cutest cat-themed pieces. We've found cat earrings that my daughter absolutely loves seeing me wear, and this time I found the most gorgeous black cat scarf for her. ‍ And of course, I always manage to find something for myself too. This visit it was three camisoles that I can wear under things or on their own, practical and fun at the same time as it takes me back in time. Marty has such a wonderful eye for unique pieces, and every visit feels like a little treasure hunt. It's one of those special Alameda shops that just keeps me happy that I hope doesn't go away!
