However, there are lots of other things to love. We have free transportation to doctors' appointments, hair appointments, DFW Airport, museums, concerts, lunch and dinner outings, and anywhere else we might want to go. We have an excellent exercise program sponsored by Cooper Clinic in Dallas, an indoor pool, and a fully outfitted gym. We have in-house concerts and lectures and many special social events. We have three dining venues, and the food is delicious. We are currently undergoing a "refresh" of our common areas to bring everything back to "like new." We would love for you to join us.

I'm trying to find her a permanent living facility. I was originally told her insurance would cover up to the 14th of March. I was expecting a "care" conference call today. About places she could go but I what I got was you need to go by next week on the 7th. A whole week before the 14 of March. That may not seem like much to some but when your not ready for any of it. It makes a big difference. Not happy I had to argue about this to keep her here. Just so I can find her a better place. All this call accomplished was stressing me out and seeding my hatred for this place, so thanks teresa I know I'm under a time crunch. Heartless social worker never met her once and now I don't care too. Don't bring your parents here, if you're not ready and need help unless you drive a Ferrari.

They are understaffed, when dad was imminent and told her should be under critical care, there was no one here, no one to help take care of him like was promised. Staff came into the home so loud, what's caring about yelling right next to your family member trying to pass. Never got the supplies we needed. Nurse came into and first time meeting this one she said "man he sounds terrible" wow thank you so much for that. It's crazy how they advocate for comfort care and do not care about comfort at all. Do not hire, do not even consider. It made our father's passing process a nightmare.

The response that was given to me due to lack of supplies were 1. shipment has not come in and that they were so sorry. 2. Nurse arriving to my house with no business card and no name tag. I was never given the heads up of another nurse arriving to my house. 3. to have my mom's nurse tell me do you need the supplies today? is it an emergency because I'm in a meeting. Maybe having a family member their could be stressful You Think? With the growing aging population you have plenty of choices and of course its going break down to what your willing to spend or do. Our family decided the location and price was acceptable here and we were close to visit daily to be with them. This was in 2019. Of course with Covid came many challenges the FIL has dementia and MIL can barely get around but the care has been extremely helpful and above anything we could do on our own. We send staff come and go in hasn't been easy for them and the ones that remain are real hero's to us. We see them weekly and there has never been any issues to report, other family members visit different days we have camera installed and everything goes like clockwork for us. I am here this morning and I saw the negative rating and just wanted to make sure this wasn't the case for everyone. Watching someone decline in health is hard it's even harder to make the time and effort to do it yourself in a pandemic. We are grateful for the staff and Legend Oaks for the care of our Family.

My mother is a resident in their care and they've destroyed phone charger cords (of which I bought or of my own money), stole hair care products from her (that were gifted from friends and family strictly for her), and constantly give her the wrong medications without water (every single day). And if the patient needs to be transferred to another location or new rehabilitation facility, they will mistreat that patient everyday until the patient leaves. DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS HERE!!!! THIS PLACE IS A LAWSUIT WAITING TO HAPPEN!!!

My father was in and out of the hospital a lot. Eventually I had to end his living at atria because he was in the hospital for over 3 months. Now that he is being discharged finally from the hospital I have to repurchase all his medication again. They should really consider rectifying this policy. When I called Home Health, they say they do not even have a direct line to Home Health PT. I finally got someone on the phone 5 days ago, and the representative, Hugo, told me that he needed to see if they had a therapist available to do my son's physical therapy. I called the number that Hugo gave me yesterday and left a voicemail after hearing nothing. No return call. I called the number that Hugo gave me again today and got no answer again. Thinking that I may have the wrong number, I went through the home health phone tree again. The person on the phone told me that Hugo as at lunch and everyone else in the PT department was really busy, so I couldn't speak with anyone. After this long, drawn out ordeal, I insisted that I speak with someone who finally told me that they found out 5 days ago that they did not have anyone to do my son's physical therapy. Did they call to let me know that no one could do the physical therapy 5 days ago? Nope. What an unprofessional, disorganized organization. I am dismayed that they are this lackadaisical about getting children the help they need, but I have noticed that the other online reviews are not very favorable either. What a shame!
