Another update on bad business practices, i've been going every week here for produce, they had a…read moresale on red leaf lettuce $.99 each, normally it's 1.99 I got two bunches, when I got home and looked at the receipt, she charged me for Romain lettuce $1.99 each. Not a big deal. I just brought my receipt in the next week when I went in for lettuce, to the same clerk. She said it's been too long and unless I return it they can't do anything, I mean it's only two dollars it's not a big deal, to me. So my observation of this store is they just think everybody's out to steal from them. I normally only buy lettuce and tomatoes at this store, so if Safeway has the same price for the lettuce, I will buy it there from now on.

Ukiah is a good store; they carry so many items that I cannot find anywhere. "Molasses", sweet potato syrup...all the good stuff for baking. I do hope Clearlake will catch on to our need for more healthy items. I wish the produce could be fresher and not in plastic. However, nowadays it is what it is. Sometimes I must do returns. The workers are always friendly enough and are usually fast and efficient but sometimes it gets very busy in there and there are long lines. We always stop here for snacks and drinks on the way to see family in Clear Lake. There is plenty of parking, gas pumps and it's an easy on easy off from the main road. Also what I like is it feels safe enough, I don't get harassed by beggars and the parking lot is open and well lit.
