I've been a tenant at Park West for over five years now, and its been nothing short of a pleasant experience! The ladies who run the front office are very friendly, professional and always easy to get in contact with. One of the things that I've always loved, and is super convenient about living here is that if any issues arise with anything in my apartment all I have to do is give the front office a call and within a day or two they always have a maintenance man (or men) come out and fix the issue. All of the staff are super friendly and professional, and any time I've had any issues in my apartment the maintenance team were able to correct said issue! I also like the fact that they have an exterminator on site every Monday, so if you ever want on the list to have the exterminator pay you a visit all you have to do is call and ask to be added to the list, super convenient and at no extra cost. I must also mention that I've always felt very safe living here, they have security walking around every evening whom are also easy to get a hold of should any issues arise. Also a great place to live if you have kids, as they are very family oriented & constantly decorated for the holidays and holding contests for the kids. Overall just a great experience living here.. The community is well maintained, and management has always been responsive whenever I've had questions or needed maintenance. Requests are handled in a timely manner, and the staff is professional and respectful. The property is kept clean, and I've always felt comfortable and safe living here. My wife and I just moved into Park West on 06/26/26 the manager neglected to inform us that Park West has a roach infestation problem which is against California Heath Code Violations. We spent over 4 thousand dollars to move here not including the money we spent on movers. Our refrigerator and the oven is infested with roaches. We can't buy groceries and cook due this problem. We also have not slept since we moved here. We do not feel at home. There's also roaches in the bedrooms and the bathroom. We informed management about the roaches and they down played the situation as if they expect us to cook and eat with roaches. This is unacceptable and beyond unprofessional. From the moment I moved in two months ago, I could immediately feel the difference. Living here has been a really positive experience for me. The maintenance team is excellent, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful ,completely different from what the old reviews described. They keep the pool very clean, take great care of the outdoor areas, and make sure the whole community stays neat and quiet. The office services are outstanding and very organized, which makes everything smooth and easy. They also put a lot of effort into decorating and celebrating every occasion. If you're looking for an apartment in Chino, this is actually a great place to live. There's a few reasons actually: The trash is ALWAYS picked up, never has it overflowed w/trash. It's quiet, and very nicely kept. If you have an emergency like I did, my garbage disposal broke, and they immediately came out to fix it. Whenever I need something in the apt worked on, they are there to help me and as a single female that's a big help, & one less thing I need to worry about. I really enjoy living here. The community is gated and feels safe, and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. One thing I really appreciate is that they host events for the kids during holidays like Halloween and Christmas, which include food and gifts -- it truly feels like a community. Maintenance has been great. When my AC unit broke down during the summer, it was replaced within two days, which I was very grateful for. Repairs in general are handled quickly. The amenities are another highlight. There's a gym, a playground for kids, two pool and jacuzzi areas, and most apartments have laundry hookups or access to two on-site laundry rooms. It's a great place for kids, and it's nice to see them outside playing and enjoying the community. It's also very pet-friendly. I take my dog on walks regularly and there's plenty of greenery throughout the property. They even have a small dog area near the entrance, which is a nice bonus. I don't even live at Park West, but my sister did -- and even as a visitor I could see how bad things were. She constantly dealt with roaches, rude office staff, extra fees, and parking issues. I honestly thought she was exaggerating at first, until I witnessed it myself. During her first week there, I happened to be over when the air conditioner broke and maintenance showed up. The maintenance guy was extremely rude for no reason. His attitude was uncomfortable, disrespectful, and honestly made me not want to be there at all. If that's how they treat guests, I can only imagine how they talk to residents. Parking was another nightmare. I had nowhere to park when visiting and was constantly worried my car would get towed, even though I was just trying to see my family. By the second visit, I didn't even want to come back because of how unwelcoming the staff and workers were. My sister's complaints were absolutely real -- from the bugs to the attitude to the parking situation. If a place is bad enough that a guest doesn't even want to visit, that says a lot. I worked with Cindy (Leasing Agent) at the property located above. She was very professional and took me around the property. I told her what I was looking for in an apartment. She showed me a two bedroom & one bathroom which is what I was looking for & it even had hookups for a washer & dryer. Also, the maintenance staff do an awesome job with redoing the apartments & the landscaping. It's a very kept up property with two beautiful pools & jacuzzi's. Sherrie who keeps the grounds clean & maintains the pools, bathrooms, etc. is a hardworking individual. I am giving them one star because otherwise it would not let me give a review. But they don't deserve any stars. If anyone reading this review has the option to not come and live here take that option this is the worse place. they want to charge you for every little thing you are allowed two parking space but then you need to buy a permit from them otherwise they will tow your car. I requested a temporary permit because I had just replaced my windshield and didn't have funds for the permit and what she told me to put the my 30 days notice to move out or pay the permit. They have towed other neighbors cars people that live here that need their car to go to work to earn money to pay for rent and utilities but they don't care they just want to squeeze money from wherever they can.. Cindy has the worse customer service she works at the office but thinks she's the owner(bad owner) because there's some good ones out there, she's so disrespectful they way she talks to you. Someone from the premises crashed my car while parked and I requested the camera footage and they told me the cameras were not working. I ended up paying $1800 in repairs. I am trying to move out and will do as soon as possible I do not recommend anyone to come here you will be very disappointed and will regret it. read more

I would never recommend to rent here. The management is extremely rude, belittling, and unprofessional. In the process of moving out, we were given the wrong information multiple times in someone taking over our lease which caused us to lose money and provide incorrect information to potential residents. While moving out of the apartment, our unit was broken into and many of our belongings were stolen. Park West Apartments NEVER notified or called us OR the police. Three days passed until we returned for the remainder of our belongings to find broken glass, our door unlocked, and our belongings missing. Park West Apartments replaced the broken window, ENTERING OUR APARTMENT WITHOUT CONSENT, and never notified us. To this day, management refuses responsibility or any wrongdoing. Even after we called the police to make a report, management continued to speak rudely and blame us (the victims of a crime). While a break-in is not management's fault, how they handled the situation was inexcusable. I am extremely disappointed in this business and am glad to be gone. read more

I lived in Park West for 5 years. This place was my second real home in my life and I will dearly miss it. First off, most of the office staff are extremely kind and accommodating, with the exception of one lady (I'm not sure what her name is but she has a thick accent and is very blunt and rude most of the time) I believe it's Elena who helped me usually and she is the sweetest woman ever!! She made paying rent so easy and quick every time. The maintenance crew was always very quick when we needed repairs on our sink/dishwasher and showers over the years. Most recently our dishwasher started leaking and they replaced it within a week! The only thing I could complain about with them coming into the apartment for to replace the AC without notice and entered very loudly and without care when we clearly have a pet sticker on our door, our pets could've gotten out. When I called with a concern about that, I was shrugged off saying we were given notice when we were not. But besides that, they are usually very considerate and kind! My car did get broken into in the gated lot one night, luckily they only room my registration. But the office has cameras and they were able to review and call me with details about the incident. We did have a couple of roach problems over the time we were there but they quickly scheduled a fumigation that was able to be done while we were at work during the day and immediately took care of the issue. We had to get the apartment sprayed twice over the 5 years we were there. The bugs were quite small and stayed in the kitchen area. The laundry room was easy to use, never too packed and open 24 hours which is so nice (I did late night laundry a lot). Parking is good with the assigned spaces and it only really got packed during the holidays where I sometimes had to park on the street/adjacent neighborhood if I got home too late. The way the apartments are arranged is perfect because you never really get noise from other apartments into yours and the neighbors aren't generally loud anyway. Lots of families with kids running around after school and playing together. We only used the pool a couple times but really enjoyed when we did. We love the vending machines outside lol, always getting snacks when we do laundry. They're constantly upgrading things, like the patio area behind the office, they created a dog run a couple years ago and or dog LOVED it, that was a really great addition to the property. Our downstairs neighbors moved out right before us and they upgraded the apartment to look exactly like the photos here, so nice!! They did offer for us to move into an upgraded unit when we put in our 30 days notice but this complex just got too expensive for us rent-wise. Maybe one day I'll come back to Park West, overall I had an amazing 5 years here and have had no big issues with anyone or anything in the complex! The photos I attached are of a kitty I used to feed outside, she wasn't mine, not sure if she was a stray or if someone left her behind but I hope my old neighbors still feed her! After living at this location for 15 years, there was always something to not look forward to about living there. We were countlessly sent late fees "by accident" even though we were never late with rent. Towings would always happen whenever a big renovation project needed to be paid for. The management would justify their actions because they were in a position of authority. I witnessed verbal arguments with residents. It was always management blaming security and vice versa. I have lived in many different apartment complexes throughout my life. Park West is by far my favorite. Every time I would see Debbie the manager, she was always smiling and had a good attitude. If I had an issue she was on it and took care of it immediately. Cindy in the office, is sharp and I knows what she's doing. I liked going to her and it just seemed like she and I were on the same page and the business relationship just worked out great. I didn't always get my way and I didn't agree or even like EVERY policy, but the way Debbie and Cindy handled things, I understood. It was nothing personal and out of their control. Debbie and Cindy were always accurate, professional, honest and punctual. The maintenance John, Manny and Pasqual are THE BEST!! So friendly, kind good wholesome people. Even when working hard, always greeting everyone. Respectful and professional when entering your home maintenance issues. Sherry the groundskeeper does a great job decorating the property for holidays. I LOVE that the property is filled with roses. Wish my building had roses. I had amazing neighbors. It was a good neighborhood of variety of people. It seemed as though we started a decorating contes for the holidays. Kids loved it. That being said, All neighbors kept to themselves and I didn't see or have major disturbances. We felt safe and comfortable. The complex was kid and pet friendly. John is amazing, he is the only veteran employee at the property and he may not know everyone's name but he sure does now the pets name and who the pet belongs to! The pets LOVE him and run to him! We Loved the kids park and the dog park. The property is very well maintained. We thought is was such a blessing to live here. For holidays the staff would do something nice for the kids. They passed out Easter baskets, popsicles on hot days. As the kids said "the good kind, too!" The fact that my kids felt comfortable, happy and safe means the world to me. I've lived here for about 6 months now , I pay 1740 a month for a 2 bedroom apartment with 1 bath. With utilities it comes out to about 1840. I came from Los Angeles and was paying 2,000 for a one bedroom with roaches in the ghetto.I see people complaining about the price but Its a major upgrade for me and my family. If you can't afford it then don't live here. Keep in mind higher rent equals better neighbors. if you want cheap go to the ghetto in Pomona and deal with all the section 8 people and idiots stealing from your cars(I've lived through it). So The park is right outside my door, which my kids love. My neighbors are quite and nice. And my apartment is beautiful, clean and remodeled.The maintenance is fast and hard working, if a issue then just let them know and they fix it. No biggie ! I pay my rent online so I don't ever deal with the office ladies but when I do they are chill. The security is nice too, I feel safe. I didn't have that where I came from. The laundry mat is 24/7 which is awesome for people like me who work nights. And it's much cheaper then my old place..The kitchen is a good size and modern, we really made this place our home by putting up wallpaper and decorating. Also The complex holds multiple events through out the year like an Easter egg hunt for free ! I love it here and I won't be leaving until me and my husband save up enough to get a home. I would NOT recommend this place! Park West modeled apartment is perfect. After they suck you in & signed the lease. You then moved into cheap old appliances & over-priced; not worth your rent price apartment. Rent increased yearly. Rent is different for everyone. Pet friendly place but nobody pick up after their pets and poops are everywhere; even on kids play ground. Didn't feel safe/clean to have kids playing there. Water bill is ridiculously high. Lack parking space. Complex gate & swimming pool area always vandalized. I've witness drug used un-permitted car parked in assigned parking space for months. Securities are always smoking and on their cell phone. Office staff has attitudes; unfriendly; unprofessional; lack integrity & principle; make you feel like you are a burden when you call. I lived there for 18 months & since day one; they keep messing up my last name in their file/system. They never have their files/paperwork/computer in order. Even to the last day that I moved out; my last name was printed incorrectly on my returned deposit check (which they find every possible reasons to deduct unnecessary expenses from the full amount). I wasn't able to deposit my check because my last name was not a match in their Corporate Office system. No bank will deposit my check. I called Park West Apartment for assistant and they tell me my problem is not their problem anymore. They give you advise on your issues but never put anything in writing; no confirmation. DO NOT LIVE HERE! I wish I could put zero stars or negative. This is the worst living experience I've ever endured. Lord, where do I start. First of all, the apartment that they show you is a perfect well designed and maintained showcase, they lure you in with amenities that they focus more on than the actual apartment itself. When we first signed a lease we were told we had one of the beautiful front apartments newly renovated (prior to signing), we signed and were content until a week prior when I called for an update we were thrown into a different apartment practically in the back of the complex and were not told or ASKED if we were okay with the change. (Example of horrible management) Me, my boyfriend, and our roommate split a 2 bed 2 bath apartment. I payed a 500$ pet deposit for one cat ON TOP OF 40$ A MONTH for the pet!! Talk about overpriced. We also paid 600$ for a security deposit amongst other fees to get credit checks and clearance to move in. Overall we payed about 1900$ every month and that doesn't include WiFi, gas, or light which the complex does not provided also utilities are added to rent, what complex doesn't cover utilities... ok I guess that's preference, whatever. Point is, ridiculously overpriced, fake, trash. Second of all, the apartment we moved into was subpar at best, obviously not the most professional people are renovating these apartments. Our "wood floor" which was a giant sticker of fake wood had bumps underneath, the paint is horrible and you can tell where they paint over holes in the wall rather than covering properly, the counters get so dirty soooo easily, the carpet is laid horribly we constantly stepped on bumps/staples and you can see the horrible edges. When you shower the paint on the walls drips, half of the wall outlets in out unit didn't even work!! When we first moved in In the mid of July our A/C was broken and took about a week to get fixed! Not only that it broke another 2 times throughout our year of living. Maintenance is ok, I only have one situational complaint, when we called for someone to come take care of some wasps nests on our patio and they opened the outside water heater closet and nocked over some stuff we had stored in there and left it all of the stuff falling out and on my patio. (Again horrible management) but other than that the maintenance man was very nice and helped us when needed. The Hispanic maintenance guy definitely the only one that cares. The trash was constantly over flowing onto the rode, and there were roaches all over ... absolutely disgusting. The amenities sucked, I would drive to my moms house to do laundry because I refused to use the laundry units, it smelled horrible, the machines are always broken, they stink, and people go in and use all of the washers at once and leave their clothes. The pool was supposedly cleaned but we hardly used it because of the constant bandaids laying around and dirt and trash in the pool. Don't even get me started on parking, they raved about how they had private parking spots and they didn't tolerate people parking inside, visitors are to park outside of the gate and the only people able to park inside the complex have parking stickers... FUCKING BS. I would get off of work around 10 pm and have noooo parking available not to mention they only allow 1 parking spot per apartment no matter how many people love there. I would end up walking most nights from the front gate all the way to the back of the apartment complex by myself late at night because I could never get parking close enough and I would literally watch as I walked and count how many cars didn't have parking permits but still were parked in all of the spots. We also had issues with people parking in our private covered spot who weren't allowed to. (Good job management.. again) Third, don't even bother waiting for your deposit after you move out, they charge you RIDICULOUS AMOUNTS of fees and cleaning that shouldn't even exist and I wouldn't don't that they do this to many if not all of the residents, this place is greedy and couldn't care less about you. One last thing that I had a problem with was when all of this corona virus stuff began me and my boyfriend and our roommate were put out of job, I couldn't qualify for unemployment and my boyfriends alone couldn't cover out overpriced rent. I called the office to see if there was a way we could terminate our lease, or anything given the situation.. I was told over the phone..."you should try getting a different job or apply for unemployment" those are words I will not make up, I lost every ounce of respect for this complex after that phone call..Like I said, fake, overpriced, management is greedy and so clearly covers up fake bs and lies. They keep the front looking pretty and welcoming to cover up the disaster that is Park West Apartments. Good riddance! read more

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Point is: DO NOT LIVE HERE. Management is rude, maintenance is a joke, and the apartments themselves are ridiculous. First of all, when you go on a tour, they model a perfect apartment, but when you step in to the one that you rented, it is not what you expected. We were told we were renting a fully renovated apartment, new paint, new carpet, nice cabinetry, new appliances... and what did we end up with? An apartment with a paint job that simply covered up holes that the previous residents left. They did not even attempt to properly patch up the holes. The cabinets and closet doors were disgusting. The only "new/renovated" thing in the apartment was the carpet, but that wasn't even installed correctly. We were constantly poking ourselves with staples or something from the edges of the carpet. Secondly, the maintenance tried their best to fix issues with the apartment, when we had complaints. However, they seem to be normal people with not much maintenance experience. Also, they would always tell us: "you have to wait a few days for us to get to your apartment". We had a leak in the bathroom, they made us wait 7 days for them to fix it. AN ENTIRE WEEK to fix a leak in the bathroom, specifically the toilet. We had to wait 3 days to get our broken window replaced. Point is, the maintenance workers take their sweet time to get to your request. Last but not least, the management is a joke. The people in the front office are RUDE. Elena would ALWAYS give us attitude. There was a time that she hung up on me because I was complaining about the broken AC in the apartment, with my newborn baby. She could care less. When it came to moving out, they told me they do not do walk-thoughts unless we schedule them 2 weeks in advance. When I gave my 30 day notice, they also forgot to mention this. So when it came to refunding my deposit, they only gave us $150 bucks out of the $625 we gave them in the beginning. They said that the entire apartment needed to be painted and cleaned because we left it in bad condition. We were only there for one year and we honestly left the apartment in the condition in which we received it. We have pictures that showed that the apartment was left in tip top shape, but the management did not care. All in all, they sucker you in to signing a lease for a below average apartment. If you want to settle for a bad and over-priced apartment complex, then go ahead and check them out. Otherwise, look at other complexes with better management, apartments, and maintenance staff. Stayed here for a year. Management was wonderful! Very accomadating and understand rare circumstances. I can say they are the friendlist and warmest management I have ever come upon. My reason for 4 stars is just due to parking. My boyfriend and I worked late at night and parking was extremely stuff. Don't get me wrong during the day its fine. But honestly its not managements fault they try to inforce it and they also like they explained to me have enough parking spaces for two cars for each apartment unit (you do get one assigned carport). I would still recommend it despite the hassle of parking late at night. I would stay here again if need be. Reason for the move was job commute. We lived here for 6 months. The staff was extremely accommodating and nice. We hD an amazing time. There were awesome community events. The business center was ideal and has a conference table. The rec room is open throughout the day with a pool table flat screen and comfy sofas. Full kitchen there too. Maintenance was very helpful and quick. Nice amount if space on the balcony. Had a great experience and we are grateful for our time there. read more

Well I just visited these apartments and it's unfortunate lady up front last name Perez I believe gave the most half done tour def pre judged me before giving the tour which is cool or whatever I get it she doesn't wanna waste her time but I took my time to come out to find a place to live. The apartments themselves were actually pretty nice but she just ruined the whole tour with her attitude and lack of motivation to even attempt to "sell" me on the apartment. She should probably find another gig if she doesn't like her job cause it's pretty apparent. But idk maybe she was just having a bad day. Needless to say I def won't be trying to live here. read more

This is the worst place to live in. We recently moved out after 2 years of living there, and just like the other reviews, staff is unprofessional, they will find any excuse not to return your deposit. The ladies that work in the office seem to be very confused and not only that, they can't seem to give you a straight answer. Parking is horrible as well! I don't recommend this place. I've been at park west since the year 2000, and haven't had any issues the the property or the staff, great location and everything is close by as far as shopping, schools and eating establishment so come and live in peace, see for yourself read more
